I refused to watch this for so long because I thought it was just another christmas movie for kids. But boredom got the better of me and boi i was so wrong for judging this. EVERY FRAME IS SO STUNNING.

I saw this movie at least 4 times. First time with my wife, and my eyes teared like a baby. Second time, with my kids and I tried not to tear but couldn't. Next two times I saw them with my wife and still couldn't help but to tear my eyes. This movie should be awarded an Oscar. That's one on the gems anyone should see and keep it in his memories forever.

im a teacher...a scene when ava use her saving ..kinda hits me hard...huhuhuh anyways klaus is a pure gem that only a few lucky person can get it. I am glad i am one of them.

I love how you held off the magic as much as possible. And used actual facts to like the sami and the reindeer eating moss, this story is a very possible fact!

this is so....beautiful! He respects 2D and I LOVE what he said about it being a "split in the road" and NOT an evolution to 3D. and he really learns from the different voice actors and lets them be creative; it's a wonderful trade between both of their talents, and his reason for creating the film and the MESSAGE behind it, for it, is so refreshing and original and TRUE! It's a NEEDED message!

I watched this last night after my daughter and grandson urged me to. I was not disappointed. As you can see, I am up in the morning thinking and talking about it. And listening to INVISIBLE over and over This is on a short list of Christmas movies that I will always say yes to watching. Thank you for making this movie. "I'm coming, love"....😭😭

This movie snuck up on me. I find myself thinking about it often. It's a true masterpiece!

My mom still likes Frozen 2 better. Good for her. I am glad she does. That does not mean I will like it any better than this masterpiece. I love this film. I will never stop loving this film for giving me an emotion I thought left my system that year: empathy. "A true selfless act always sparks another". Preach.

Beautiful lesson of altruism, officially my favorite Christmas movie, this is a christmas movie that actually tells a story, and a beautiful story full of beautiful lessons

Even tho I kept hearing about Klaus's beautiful animation and being Oscar nominated, I still skipped it till now. I got to watch it on Christmas eve night with my family this year and it did not disappoint! And watching how much heart and sweat and tears the creators put to make it, makes me so happy that it did well cause it's so deserving!

I'm 60 and I like to think...pretty rugged and stoic. Klaus has me in fits and bits in equal measure, if there is such a thing as a perfect story told with skill and true imagination this is it. It's way up there in my top 5 along with Shawshank, American Beauty, Dances with Wolves...

My adult children showed this to me and my wife right after it was released we probably watched it over 60 times now absolutely love it . Superbly Put together and animated.

New favourite Xmas film!!

The thing i feel I get with CGI is that at that point you aren't a animator. You are a puppeteer. You are moving an object in 3D space to make it alive. (And I have nothing against CGI. I highly respect those that do it . ) However, there's something about drawing It that gives it a sort of feeling that you cannot get with anything else it seems. It's like a spark.. a breath... however you want to call it. Like you are exploring and discovering the character in who they are instead of just moving them around while you are drawing them. Call me old-fashion and a romantic on this. But it's something that i have a passion for myself.

One of the very few movies where you kick yourself for not having watched it sooner. Amazing, beautiful, heartfelt movie. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, this movie is simply amazing.

Just watched this last night and I'm upset I never took the time to look into it. Its a dope ass christmas movie and will forever be on my list for the season.

It really says alot that there are only 4 dislikes.

In regards to Christmas movies, or Santa origin stories for that matter "Klaus", and the Finnish movie "Joulutarina" are my favorites for the Christmas season, and I think it is really due to the very human perspective on the Christmas spirit. They both have in common that they "Hold back", this element of Santa Claus being this overpowered magic entity until the very last possible moment. In "Joulutarina", Santa Claus starts of as the orphan "Nicolas", who gets raised by a whole village after his parents died. To thank them he makes toys for their kids. Later he gets trained by a carpenter, who is a very nasty person in the beginning, but Nicolas warms his heart, and they start making toys together. Its just two humans starting to do good for other people, doing those "selfless acts", that are so present in "Klaus". The magic only comes to pass in "joulutarina" very late in the film, and so it does in Klaus. It is way more compelling to watch a normal human, become the good that we seek in the world, then having an all knowing good spirit do it all for us. That' s what made Klaus such a great and heartwarming movie. Definitely a new Christmas classic for me.

I'm just from watching this movie. I refused to watch it for a long time because I was part of a religious org that doesn't celebrate Xmas. This movie is a masterpiece. 🙌

3:21 Really?! I'm actually ghapthic designer and no one don't want to give me job because I'm too young and I'm only have one finished sudy, not a few. The only work I can't have it's only with contract for specific work because they said that's how you work and I can't count something big like working on commercial or graphic 3D for games. I was dissapointed. I don't have a normal graphic job for contract of employment. I didn't expecting to ended like that. And I'm read that you made this animation with young people. I wish that would be with me. It was a few years ago and that time some people or one person stared to make indie games and animations, but I don't really thinked that time to making alone. I'm still thinked about it, but I have idea, but i'm scared about it, because I don't really kow if someone like it and support it.
