Honestly I am glad to hear he's doing well financially. He made himself a well deserved million by saving thousands of other people millions and preventing thousands of broken devices from becoming e-waste. And all while entertaining and teaching others for free on youtube not just electronics and failure tracking without schematics. He also teaches values, high moral standards and good and humble values. One of my favorite content creators by far.

So crazy, I grew up in Northridge from early 80s to mid-90’s and nobody ever heard of it until the Earthquake in ‘94. I’ve been watching this channel grow for over a year now and he buys a house down the street from where I grew up. Such nostalgia! May you enjoy your new home in food health!

Here in the UK developers would build three or four houses on plots of land the size of those houses you went through, and charge £500,000 each. Man you worked hard and built the business up, now's the time to reap the benefits and get that house of your dreams. Thanks for sharing this with us

I'm 29, about to be 30. I own my house free and clear now. No Mortgage, I worked my ass off daily for where I am. 18-20 hour days sometimes. It's been rough but well rewarding. I'm glad you're doing what you love. I'm not religious but your morals are amazing!

You deserve everything. When you get it you need to make a shop room. Bring home some of your work to do at home in between playing with family and swims. I retired from servicing electron microscopes. I have MS and miss working and that lovely feeling of solving problems. Enjoy your success.

1.4 mill is close to average on the entire west coast these days.The better part of a million bucks will buy you a three bedroom, fixer upper bungalow in one of the more run down parts of Portland Oregon - a city where one can't go downtown these days without fearing for one's life. Congratulations - you EARNED it brother.

Now you can't find a similar house for less than $800k. To those who say the market will drop in the near future: do some research. Housing markets ALWAYS fluctuate in the short term, but buying a house is a very long term investment that you can pass on to your kids. The market price could be irrelevant if you and your family enjoys staying in the home for decades. And in Southern California, the average price of houses has been increasing for many decades, in spite of some short term fluctuations.
