Dam man i just started following you, but you seem like a well informed guy so im still rocking with you because i kno whatever you do you gone go hard and have good insight and besides the trucking info i also pick up on how you move in general so im still rocking with you... im about to just start my trucking career but i kno its not somthing i want to do for a while so best of luck Fam im in Minneasota my page is walking 4K... GOOD LUCK BRO
Bro that wild. I just ran into a post on IG talking about this same job career and now I run into it again on your channel. I must push toward this too man.
I make over 91K with a local job in trucking and I be driving for nine months. I am in shape also but I’m also 37. however…. I spent a decade getting into shape in my 20s; where now I can maintain more than anything so trust me, I feel you wholeheartedly. I don’t think I could get into the shape. I am now if I started 10 years ago trucking. At any rate, extremely proud of you homie ! keep inspiring.
I will agree owning a truck currently brings no money, rates are in the floor. But you can make a good living driving a truck if you find a good job. If any drivers see this post go into LTL (Fed Ex/Old Dominion/UPS/Saia/ABF/Estes/R&L) depending where you stay you can easily make over 100k being a company driver. If you put in the grind you’ll make over 100k-150k depending on location.
I left after 3 weeks. Once you in that sleeper.. you realize is it worth it or not. For me. I’m 30 wit no kids. I got plenty of time. I chose to leave cause I value being home everyday. I salute you dawg.
Lmao damn I left after 2 weeks I when I was in the sleeper I was rethinking life.. is it really worth it mainly cus they pay low they told me I’d be making $1200-$1500 a week my mentor told me ima only be making $700-$800 a week & I would basically have to build 2 years of experience. On top of that my sleep schedule was fucked I could go back home & make $800 a week tf I look like being on the road weeks on out for $3k a month 🗑️
@@NoID_Seven that’s true! All I can say is at least we tried it and got the license. That’s what count. We experienced the journey and went onto better things. That’s apart of life. That sleep schedule will fuck you up fr. Back in the gym & eating better. Now looking into something better. Keep grindin G. I had to delete social media & keep RU-vid to really lock in on the next goal 🙏🏽🏁
Fam I’m dealing with this right now. Trying to take care of my body and reach my body goals while running everyday. I’ve been driving for 10 years now and it’s tuff. With the hour you work even local you’re going to lack somewhere. For me it’s sleep and for muscle building sleep is extremely important. I feel this 1000%z
Jersey strong💪. Nothing but facts tho. I drive myself and mental health ain’t no joke on the job. It ain’t the same.. Keep grinding, stay blessed brotha✊🏿
Bro it’s funny. we’re going through the same shit. Applying to these trucking jobs and realizing this shit ain’t it. I’m burnt out just looking at these trucking jobs. Good luck on your new adventure bro. keep us updated.
Goodluck my brotha. I thought about doing the lineman union things years ago ending up doing hvac instead now got my cdl as well. Its funny you bring that up and got me thinking again lol. Wonder if the locs gotta get cut
Ok all due respect here cause trucking isnt for everyone... That being said, you aren't doing "everything" in a year unless your constantly hopping between jobs and never giving any single one a chance. Ive been driving going on 5 years now. I did a decent amount of hoping around. It took till this year to really find my place. Im an OTR driver that use to stay out for a month or two then would get so stressed I had to go home for a week just to unwind and rejuvenate. Now that I found my spot I have been out for 6 going on 7 months and it hasn't bothered me at all. Im not stressed and im in a position that I basically do what I want. Im my own boss. Am I making mad money? No. for many reasons...one being a truck payment. Im working on owning my own truck. When its paid off then ill be doing great and I can save up to do what i really want to do and get into real estate. Sounds like you came out here. Tried it and saw how hard it is, how hard it is to be away from family and friends, and you didnt make the big bucks you thought you would because the market is down atm and the costs are high. But nothing last forever. Markets change. They always do. But whats going to happen during those 4 years when your an apprentice making next to nothing and being treated like shit as the know nothing newbie? Then even if you make it thru the 4 years, yes you can make good money if you put in the effort, just like trucking. I wish you luck, I do, but a year in trucking is nothing. Your basically just a newbie apprentice. 5 years in and Im still feeling like a newbie. Theres still alot I need to learn in order to maximize my profits. I dont expect to be making bank after such a short amount of time. Theres alot of weeks I dont make anything, months where I barely make bills. But im working towards the goal of running my truck with no payments and that pushes me forward. Again I wish you luck in whatever you do, but if you don't put the effort in, just like trucking, there will be another video just like this saying doing electrician work wasn't for you.
I make 29 per hour doing grapple truck use trucking to buy a home an car then find something else to do after that trucking should not be more than 5 years
Damn bro been following you for a minute. I’m 26 from Philly and I got my cdl like 3 weeks after you from hirschbach. Left them and did otr 4 months with knight And finished my year off doing regional with a company outta jersey. A year in man I’m done. I’m ready to try some Different shit. Can you drop some game on that electrical field I wouldn’t mind trying new things. Appreciate the game 💪
Team driving with hirschbach I made 93k first year home biweekly with a month shy of income but I agree I rather be home more so hopefully i can find another way besides nursing. Good luck on your journey.
for sure we all would rather be home. my advice don't look up one day wishing you would of left sooner or took a risk. Save your money sand make you next move your best move. appreciate the support !
Bro I’m Rey graduate school and get into old dominion which is home daily over 100k salary and I’m in jersey , tuition reimbursement hazmat and doubles , it’s definitely possible and with you having a year you can go get ya tanker and get that money too so it’s definitely plenty of options but wish you the best folk , I also thought about plumbing and stuff but that apprenticeship start off at like 15hr eventually making 40 a hour with union but I don’t have the bills to start from the bottom and work my way up Take care imma continue to follow
There are a lot of people who are rich in the trucking industry. U just gotta have the right mindset and a plan before u start driving. U gotta have a plan In everything u do. I got a buddy who owns 5 trucks and he bought apartment units. So it’s all about how u plan things
Bro this is the realest video on trucking this shit really ain’t it no matter what way you go local seems to be reserved for old people who refuse to let it go and women I think I’m on my way out to
im a trucker whos 48 years old and i got started at 44, for me it works, i dont really have a family, no wife or kids so for me it works , i keep my living expense low and work hard and save most of my money, imo younger guys should get into a trade and electical is a good choice, you can be a traveling electrician too if u got the bug to wander , i like trucking but the future of it seems unpredictable as far as industry regulations etc but the worst thing about trucking is it can all end in a heartbeat and it might not be your fault
i try to tell people , trucking should be just a stepping stone job to stack up bread , i suggest people to do otr for 6 months- a year , save $40k , then go local with a good schedule while working on a certification or business for something better so then you can leave trucking behind with a good amount of money in the bank . use trucking , dont let trucking use you .
Hazmat local pays damn good unless you're in a small town. Some hazmat jobs here pay $130k. You gotta earn it though. I was a owner operator for years. Unless you get a new truck it's not worth your time. It is a stepping stone. I'm using it to buy land and start a tiny home hotel. 3 will get you over $10k per month. Anyways..... electricians make damn good money if you're willing to go to school for 4 years. 100-200k starting out.... unless you're in a small town Cable installers make damn good money too. Trucking is too dangerous but it helped me when i quit trucking get back on my feet. After my divorce a few years back i went from having $100 in my pocket to $1300 a week. Then in a half a year i had $20k saved. Keep your cdl just in case
Congratulations passing the Quiz brother and best of luck on your journey. We all rocking with you ! What’s that website you used to study, I would love to learn as well I appreciate you and your content
@Puremirr Bro i salute you brother you already have that millionaire mindset! keep going and showing the journey this is wayy bigger than Trucking G! its all about creating real wealth and having that mindset and i see you tapped in with that WES WATSON in the background!! i am in my 20s as well and not to many people our age think like this even the old heads in the comments b stuck in they ways 100k is nothing compared to investing that money and having financial freedom.
Say bro I’m in the same path I’m using trucking to get myself and my wife and daughter in a house Wich we just fin move in,into a house next week then after that just save up for rest of the year and go get licensed in electrician and work for a union company. Im only 24 yrs old so I got time to try new stuff I been trucking 2 years now . But im done this fin be my last year.
I only been driving like 4-5 months and I’m thinking about getting a work from home job tbh I think I’ll be more happy with that but just feel like I let some ppl down but it’s my life
Yea bro I worked otr for my dad 3k miles a week on some fruit runs Miami to Michigan Bro’s that shit ain’t it he told me the only why he runs the truck cause he own them he use to quit trucking jobs left an right
Two words. Turo & Real Estate. Not rich by far. Just not into working for others. Not throwing shade at young blood. Just making the case for the deadly combination of driving a truck-and investing 90% of everything you take home.
dang bro congrats on your new phase! I heard those linemen electricians make bank, what did you use to study on your own to pass the exam bro? put me on 😌
Y’all in the wrong area of trucking Fuel hauling is where it’s at get that X endorsement with double and triples. I make over $110k home every night just put that 6 months in for experience then apply for a tanker position the money is there. If that ain’t enough Start a fleet and hire drivers and a dispatcher use somebody else authority all you do is talk on the phone all day while money steady coming in
Should have stayed, you will probably regret that. Everything takes time if you want to become successful at something. Get your own truck and you will see the money grow, there is money in this business, you just gotta learn how.
@@PuremirrTalk i cant disagree with that but when you enjoy what u do, ull never work a day in your life. Im sorry trucking didnt pan out but best wishes on your new endeavors 👍🏿
then get wit your uncles bro ! I was making 95k a year and the money still wasn’t worth it. Show me a trucker that making 6 figures and is in the best shape of they life. Let alone decent shape lol. Health is wealth brodie. I ain’t saying it ain’t possible but truckin and messing with the electrical Union money wise and health wise
4th year in trucking. Just bought my second home as a rental property. 2 brand new cars. Investment portfolios that included crypto, stocks and now realistate. 6 figures in bank account. Health locked in and financial freedom. Go ahead tell me there's no money in trucking lmfao 🤣
Sacrifices buddy…… same way you commit to the gym you commit to trucking. Own the truck, you’ll make $150k easy. Take care of the truck just like your kids, everything in life cost
Excellent my guy, electrician get it in, where im from they make $38-$44 only thing I don’t like depends on location yo skin color determines when you get laid off for winter months or slow time, we did the most of the work, but we seen who stayed on I ain’t like it left bounced Florida it’s even worse to have a trade there top pay $22 shit didn’t make sense, hopped in the truck myself I definitely feel you, trucking is garbage right now, but what I see gotta niche this shit I heavy haul, keeps me moving but whatever I feel you tho, I’m looking as well.. blessings to you I just came across this page today 🫡
