As a catholic we should try and do the same as our Muslim friends and brothers and sisters. It is amazing that Islam prohibits smoking/drinking. We believe in the same god as the followers of Islam we shouldn't be divided by religion as we are quite similar! Some of the beliefs of Islam should be taught and followed by even non-Muslims, it is such an amazing thing that the religion prohibits drinking and smoking.
How did you handle social events, night clubs and such ? Nearly every social event has to do with drinking ,how do you deal with the situation of wevyone is drinking and you're not ...specially if y still would like to meet people and socialize(maybe it would be more pressure when you were younger )
@@nabilsaadi8704 perhaps a loving, empathetic friend or friends that will be there with you and know it's importance to you for encouragement. Or you might have to decide between not drinking and those types of socializing, at least for a while, even asking friends to do things that don't include alcohol. I'll bet you'll kick this thing and be successful! 💪🏼
Since I discovered this guy on RU-vid he has been such an inspiration for me in improving my faith as a born Muslim . Just love him for Allah may Allah bless him Assanta saana na rehma ya mungu . 💛
Not a muslim, but I completely agree. It's a strange habit that we have that I don't think we need. We can use the money on other enjoyable things that don't potentially cause health problems.
Is it weird that I related to this although I never had a drink in my life ? These points you mentioned can be applied to anything to better ourselves. Also the thing u said about the “sin of the mind” that struck me... I do wonder every now and than if I’d ever drink just for the feeling of it, not so much for the taste my friends say it tastes like dogshit Lool. Is it weird that I I don’t know the answer to the question u put at the end, like I always ask myself and my friends ask me too if I’d ever drink, my answer is usually idk. However, I was put in situations where everyone around me was drinking and was offered but I declined; so I’ll never know the answer unless I actually try it one day. It’s weird ... And I find it logically smart that you didn’t put Islam as ur number one reason a lot of ppl might think it’s objectively biased.
this beautiful religion ( Islam ) is about common senses, with all means and levels, god gave it to us , so we can live happy, healthy and safe..!! means it's for our owne good and safety in this life, and there's nothing else period...!!!?
the rule of islam always guide us to the right way....why drinking forbiden is islam cos many bad things will come up from the habbit....proud of you .... 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Whenever i see someone drinking alcohol in dramas/movies I always think they are drinking apple juice/coke may be lol. Hilal thinking being Muslim lolz
Wow that's a perfect decesion to take care about your health more, there are some cultural habits that are harmful to our bodies but we keep doing it because everyone is doing it, keep caring about your self and not the mass impact , stay strong brother. Sending peace and love from Morocco
I totally agree with all your points you mentioned what made you stop drinking. Moreover our social life has a weird programs . And the way people programmed a problematic. Many people finishing their job, they are celebrating drinking (poisoning ) their body. I think you took a very huge step.
I have a question (which also applies to other Muslims living in the west and not drinking): what do you do in social events, night clubs and such ? Nearly every social event has to do with drinking ,how do you deal with the situation of wevyone is drinking and you're not ...specially if y still would like to meet people and socialize
One of the reasons why it is said in the Quran that there is no compulsion in religion, it has to come from the heart. Even if you stopped drinking because of your conversion and you didn't feel it or really mean it, it wouldn't mean anything. Keep up the good work and i pray that Allah keeps guiding you on the right path.
