Hello, first I want to praise God and the trinity, for showing me this video. This popped up after I felt like I wasn't doing anything, I felt like a nobody. I often feel like this, so when this video popped up on my page and I saw it in the corner of my eye, I clicked on it, I wanted to type while you were talking, but God and the trinity told me to wait, wait until after I watch this video. You see, when I WAS LISTENING to your story and watching the video, I could connect with it, your account, because your account is like my story, we are similar, in high school, I was a basketball player, and I was okay, I had some decent skills but I was known as diamond the basketball player, but after high school, I went through spiritual journey ups and downs, I had opportunities, but blew it because of all the things you said, I felt like an imposter, I felt like a fraud, I said is this real, am I doing okay. At one point, I even had up to 900 followers and if we add all the total of my social media together and have the followers for Instagram, it would have been 1,000 followers, okay I don't want to brag okay, that's not my intent, but in the back of my mind, I felt like a phony. I had a lot of downs and lost a lot of things a lot the way, my freedom, my peace of mind, friends, family, money, people I cared about, my car, and my apartment, I lose my relationships, I lose a lot, and I was still doing music, but I did but for the wrong reasons, I was at one point on and off with music for a while, and I thought I am garbage, however God and the trinity was with me, through it all, he helped me, but I was put into a position, I needed to decide what do I want, God and the trinity, or the world. This was after a bad experience with getting arrested(long story), and I cried and cried and cried, then I looked in the mirror I didn't like what I saw, and then I tried to commit suicide, however, there was a small voice telling me, don't wait, don't give up on me, don't give up, and now I am following God and the trinity, and because of this, I am having a lot of downs, but also a lot of ups too. I have to persevere, I have been through a lot been fighting in my life, since my birth, but I am still here. I am still breathing, I won't give up my music, and I am keeping going and relying on God and the trinity for everything, and he is taking me to new heights, and he is helping me with everything. My point to this story, I literally went through hell and back, experiencing all sorts of trauma, from physical to mental, etc. I was betrayed, denied, rejected, mocked, I have been used and abused, I been through all sorts of trauma and drama in my life, made fun of, people told me to get a real job, have a plan b, and don't get me wrong they do it from a place of love, I don't want your pity party, I am just sharing some of my stories, however, I do want to say something even though I went through the depths of hell and back in my life, I still have hope, I still held on, even if it was by a thread, I keep going and God and the trinity helped me through it all. After all, Diamonds are formed under immense pressure, and a lot of heat, to create something beautiful, and that is Diamonds. I had to earn my name, and don't get me wrong, I still got bad days, however, I also have good days too. In the darkness, comes Jesus, he is the light, in darkness comes light, in the hatred and chaos, comes love and peace, out of fear comes hope. I am Diamond, and this is me, thisisdiamond4ever. God-based, Elevate👏🏻❤, Dream-chase! -Be honest, Get raw, and Use Truthfulness! -I am thisisdiamond. This is who I am. I am a versatile Christian musician who sings and raps, produces music, is a songwriter, and is a music engineer too. Thanks be to GOD AND THE TRINITY -Don't be shy, I don't bite. Come connect with me! I hope this helps whoever reads this and peace and blessings if you want to come to connect with me. Just message me on my Instagram @thisisdiamond4ever. Always have hope, Go to God, and just talk to him. What's your personal relationship with God, just ask yourself this question, whenever you have time, and you're alone by yourself, free from distractions. And know this you are never alone, even when it feels like it. God and the trinity love you. God and the trinity, all hail Glory, and Glory be to them! Amen!

I’m dropping my first single this month as a Christian artist and your videos have given me so much encouragement. Your videos helped me with my mentality more than anything and keeping my tenacity with God. I started producing 3 months ago, Jesus just started putting all these songs in my head I couldn’t keep it all in. I’ve written 6 songs in such a short period without knowing how to play any instruments really. I was nervous for how I was going to be perceived at first but I faced my fears with Jesus by my side. Who am I to be afraid of mere man 😂😂 It’s not about the worldly success of my tracks but it’s about being proud of what I did with my Lord. And like you said, I need to look at how much I’ve improved! Which is so so much! Thank you for your channel and your content it’s such a comfort to me! I like that you share your own growth and accomplishments with us it makes me feel like we’re all growing together lol. God bless everyone let’s make lots of beautiful beats!

I appreciate your transparency in this! I am in school for music production and have one more year left before I graduate and honestly it has been a challenge and journey thus far and sometimes even questioned if this is what I should be doing now. I work full time and have other obligations aside from school and have to make time for my assignments and learning my DAW and working on production. I have been so close to quitting yet I can’t because I know I have a purpose in Music Production that I want to achieve by making Lofi Gospel beats and spreading the Word of God and worshipping through music. I believe every struggle is apart of the journey and helps develop you. I pray God continues to bless you and shower you with favor! Much love 💪🏾

Honestly i went traveling for over a year back in 2017 to find myself & reset my life a bit, when i was out of country i enrolled in a music production course back home in Vancouver at a post secondary school i was super excited about. When i got home & started school i was so motivated and excited, not thinking about anything else. Got in such a good flow learning so much over the course of 9 months, but about half way through i got in a relationship with a girl that appeared to be “supportive” of my goals but did not support the sacrifice in time that it takes to invest in your dreams / goals. Spent the next 3 years at a tug of war with my girl & feeling like a selfish piece of sh*t for even wanting to work on music & not being able to be there for her as much as i would have liked too. Even tho i did allocate time to my relationship it just always felt like it was never enough & she wasn’t willing to support me on my journey to success. During this time i took so many hiatus’ from music because i just felt like a terrible human being for even wanting to make music & eventually we ended up splitting up because i knew i could not give up my pursuit of happiness for our relationship. Being single now i have waves of feeling inspired to work on music but i guess i am always craving this sense of validation externally to feel good about what i am doing that it takes away from my enjoyment of making music. But when i do push through and make a song i love, it really does excite me and i play that song so many times because i am really proud of myself. But I’ve still been on a little bit of this emotional roller coaster of not feeling good enough to potentially be find another partner since my last made me feel like I’d never be able to find someone that can support me on this journey. So I’ve just been doing what i can to support myself and manage all of these thoughts & get closer to where i want to be, it’s been a bit of a lonely road. Lately the rollercoaster hasn’t been as crazy which I’m thankful for & i do look forward the moves i am going to be making in the future with my life 💫 Thanks for the relatable content!

Just because as you said, it does not feel like something that can have an effect on my real life. I still sometimes imagine what life would be like if I stopped making music. I get depressed when the monthly listeners go down after putting in so much work. It Stressful and I put more money in than I get out. The list goes on lol...

I think the most frustrating thing in my journey is struggling with learning music production and content creation while knowing that no one around me really cares. Eventually, I sorta just screwed what everyone thinks and kept going in learning everything. Now that I finally got myself onto social media, I'm slowly beginning to build a community of followers. Just had a consultation session with one of my followers where I gave him some free advice, it helped him a lot and showed me that all the frustrations I had alone in my studio were worth it!

I'm a composer, sound designer and producer, and can really relate to everything you've shared. I only discovered your video now (so I guess 2 months late to it), but tonight really was meaningful to hear someone else's journey into music making, and how hard things can be sometimes. Tonight was the culmination of a state of mind I've been in for the past 2 or 3 weeks, where I've been seriously considering quitting for the first time. It's hard to make a living, it's hard to not feel like an impostor, it's hard to not feel irrelevant when your social media posts are "drowned" by all this overwhelming amount of content. And so, for those who ultimately aim to not only make music, create music, but ultimately create art through sound, it's sometimes hard to cope with not being as successful as we imagine we could be, or not being as good as we hoped to be. But hearing your words has really helped tonight, so thank you for sharing it, and especially for doing so in such an honest way. Looking forward to getting to know a bit more about you and your music.

Man I can relate 100%. I only told about 5 people that I'm making music so far and I told pretty much nobody that I want to do it for a living. I also took so many breaks and kinda gave up. My longest break was probably like two years, but I always came back to making music because I love it. For a good year now I started to take it more serious, but I had to start from scratch again. I came from only sampling on an mpc to now playing all instruments myself. I knew nothing about music theory and I never played an instrument before. I just started recently to actually like the music that I'm creating. I still have to learn so much and improve, but sticking to what you love to do will get you to your goal eventually. However, I'm not there yet and I don't feel like I'm ready to truly identify myself with being a musician. I still have a day job which pays good money, but I hate it because it's going against everything I always wanted to do. I feel your pain when you say that people think making music is not a job and doesn't pay the bills, especially if you're using e.g. Ableton. People don't even realize how much goes into it if you're doing everything yourself. They think it's like playing a video game, or at least that's what I think other people think about me when I'm telling them that I make music. Anyway, respect to you for opening up!

This is crucial for people to see. It's not preachy to put things into perspective. I know Beuatiful Beats understand as a former athlete, but you HAVE to be comfortable with being COACHED or be able to coach yourself! Great video, here's my train of thought when it comes to quitting. My perspective starting out was, holy crap this is insanely hard, how can I even afford Massive (dubstep days) I don't know about all this... Then I got a [Redacted] Fl studio version with a lex lugor kit and was like holy crap this is insane, I can only make crappy, out of tune 808 patterns. I don't know about all this... Then I got different Vsts and stopped using the stock plugins that didn't perform as well, and wow did i just turn some knobs and use presets for the longest. This is getting easier.. Then I got a piano one Christmas and started to learn music theory more seriously. That made everything even easier. Taking the time to self reflect and pick an area to refine has helped immensely. That's when I knew I could do it, as long as I put in the time and effort. Creatives have to cultivate the skill of patience. Every week or so I have a different moment where I realized the obstacles I HAD were just that, obstacles. They weren't impenetrable. You have to be able to coach yourself or you will always fall into the same feedback loop.

When I was 14 sitting in the living room with my best friend in front of a huge tv, rapping to our favorite songs.. That’s what started it, then for christmas that year I got a macbook and downloaded garageband, went to my best friends house who got an imac and I made my first beat, which imo was pretty decent for a first attempt. But as I started to compare with the others who had more experience… that destroyed my confidence, I told myself from that day “I’m not a producer, I want to be, but I’m not cut out for it” The inner desire to create beautiful music (beats like my man here) never fully went out. Fast forward I’m 26 now, and had some depressive times lately. I rediscovered that fire, yes IT’S STILL THERE! Time to change that old belief: “I will become the producer I want to be by practicing consistently!!”

Same thoughts...i'm fed up, even if people around me are telling me i have to get my songs out(musicians), i'm worried it's not good enough yet...but it's all in my mind, i feel it. And i have come far. Played piano as a kid, quit after 5 years because my love was in basketball, then acting started, years have passed but music was always there, always growing and always will. Now i have like 30 demos sitting there thinking, what am i going to do with them; rather than slowly finishing one by one and starting to connect with other musicians in the world that have the same mindset as i so we can create more.

I literally see myself in what you say! I produce house music since 20 years now, and today I try to produce somethings different like lofi, chillhop and boombap. But I question myself a lots of time about the sence of what I produce. Because, I say in my mind "I have no music theory, is my music is good?" or "who's people want to listen my music?", why "I decided to produce different style!", "Is it still worth it?". But when I see your videos man, I think the answer is clear, I produce music because I love that. Of course is not easy every day, but we need to believe in what we make. And that always help me to get better and try to not quit. Thank you to take time to help people to do the best for theres music productions! Your music is wonderful! Thank you!

Started my channel at the beginning of the year and by my 8th beat it popped off a bit.. but once RU-vid stopped blessing me (I do think they favour new channels) I started doubting everything I made because of the views. I’ve almost quit a bunch of times. It’s crazy how numbers change the way you feel about what you make. Just trying to stay consistent now and make music that I love. Not worried about the views as much these days. Thanks for sharing this bro.

This whole video is super relatable for me. I was the same exact way with not wanting ppl to know I make music up until recently. Ppl would ask how they can listen to my music, and id be terrified to share with them my spotify or soundcloud in fear of being made fun of or them saying my music is weird or sucks. I spent alot of time practicing and trying to improve, so I was scared to hear someone tell me it sucks, and feel like ive been wasting my time i guess. Finally I started to build confidence with just improving, and I started getting compliments as I slowly started to share my stuff with family and ppl i knew. Its such a roller coaster though..Sometimes it feels like your on top of the world and you think you made the perfect beat, then other days everything seems to sound like crap and then you feel like just giving up. As I get older though, I realize that if you just keep making songs, and learning something every day, you will keep getting better. If you make a song that sounds bad, go back and figure out why it sounds bad, then try to figure out what you can do to improve it.. Then I just started constantly watching tutorials on youtube and just watching anything music related that might help me in some way..Thats how I came across your channel lol. Ive already learned a lot and got some inspiration from the few vids ive seen so far.

I’m stuck in between the “Producer/Singer” stage. I used to make beats consistently and have people rap/sing on it. I didn’t like the way they did, so I began writing to my own music. Well now I’m experiencing writers block on both sides of the spectrum. Now I’m stuck in the Working/Video games phase, I don’t know how to get back into my groove.

I feel ya. I had a very successful career as a guitarist and have had the pleasure to play with some Grammy winning artists… but I’ve decided to change careers to be home more with my family and I’m pursuing a career as a music producer now. A couple of my friends are insanely successful producers making millions, but sometimes it seems like that’s impossible. They always tell me to try and collab with everyone I can. My question to anyone is where do you meet others who are aspiring artists to collab with? I’m producing a song right now with a vocalist who recently sang on a track with Martin Garrix, but I met him on Soundbetter. I’m so excited to finish our song, but I don’t have $600 every time I wanna produce a song with someone haha Just curious how you all go about meeting other singers and producers to collab with to build your name?

Thank you for this reply! Yea, I just moved to Nashville, because that’s where one of my good producer friends who works with Capitol Records lives so trying to meet as many people as I can. I have a few vocalist friends I’ve been working with the past few months, the hard thing is that most of my very successful musician/producer friends don’t really have the time to work for free, and since I’m in the middle of a career change I have a very limited budget. Very tough trying to change careers with having a family, but I’m determined to make it work! Love your videos by the way. Love the honesty!

Bro. I just started following ur IG recently, and this is the first RU-vid video I have watched. There is SO much I could comment right now, but here are the highlights. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!!! I love how relatable and honest you are about your whole journey, and I think ur doing amazing🔥🔥. Long story short when I was a kid I was always an entertainer, dancer, rapper, song writer, drummer, you name it, but then I joined the army right out of high school and put all my hobbies on hold for a decade while I served. Now that I'm out and have a whole career, I have been getting back into my hobbies/passions, 1 of them being music and entertainment, and I have recently finally decided that my love for music and entertainment is far too great to not go all in and hone the skills of what I love so much. So, I too, have decided to become a DJ/Producer/ bcuz honestly it's the one thing I could do all day and night and not feel like I worked a single hr😂😂. I love it!! So thanks for sharing your story, triumphs, failures, and everything in between, keep up the great work I wish u all the blessings and success your heart desires. I started to bring myself out there, but far from any consistency. And a couple of months ago I just thought "for whom am I actually making music? Who actually want to listen to it, really?", I suddenly felt this overwhelming feeling of insignificance. Yet, here I am making music because I just love to do it. Only I'm not sure for who I want to make music. I'm just so uncertain how I get to share.

Very relatable video and thank you for putting it out there. I started my RU-vid channel for people who feel a similar way. I was always embarassed and afraid to call myself a musician, partly because I felt like I just wasn't good enough to deserve that label, but also because I was always an athlete in the eys of my peers. It was different worlds. I was hiding the fact that I played guitar and sometimes composed stuff, for almost 15 years. It's kind of crazy looking back. Now I make videos from that point of view, sharing what I have learned and picked up over the years, and also the emotional aspects of approaching music from a different angle. I would say I lack the conventional talent, but part of what that means is that I approach things from a different perspective, and I think there's value in that too. And I know I'm not alone. All the best to everyone reading this, and don't be discouraged. You're not alone, and music is not a competition!

We all definitely have our journeys! I keep finding things I have to get through, but I’ve learned to just keep pushing forward, knowing that patients and perseverance will pay off. For a while I’ve been discouraged over feeling like I don’t know near enough, but I have definitely grown in that. Now I’m having to face personal problems, dealing with how I let what others around me do, influence me. I need to realize that status doesn’t matter, but just being faithful to my craft and learning.

Ty 4 sharning, I never even had a thought of dropping music. But I was extremely lucky 2 times: 1) My new friend saw that I record on the phone and bought me a gift: an audio interface. He also thought me the basics of the DAW. That was 2 years ago and it is the best present in my life so far. 2) I'm 1 year deep on Spotify and one of my songs blew up bringing 2 mill streams in a year. Hopefully will never give up on the music, but tbh I'm so overwhelmed with the other staff that it is hard to make a song a week.

I just discovered your video. Yes, I gave up several times too. I found it uncomfortable to stand in front of a microphone or touch piano keys and deal with my DAW (Logic). I was in Manhattan and attended a school for it. I've had courses at home and don't want to continue. I grew up with music and have always composed here and there. Music was my life. My mother is an opera singer. I was always forced to play the piano, although I didn't feel like it. I performed a lot as a teenager and was also in the studio. I always took singing lessons until today. I couldn't let go of the music after all. Later, when I got my hands on a camera, I learned professional photography. I have already photographed many bands and created clothes from my pictures that have brought me sales. I was busy with that for a few years. Of course, I still love photography to this day. At some point, I sat in front of my DAW again. With a face like seven days of rainy weather. Do I want this? Yes:-) I got to know my interface anew and practiced recording and playing because I have so many melodies in my head. Now I sit at it almost every day and practice with courses again. They are great coaches, and everything is explained well; nothing is new to me. But I will leave mixing and mastering to professionals. When I play today, compose beautiful melodies, and learn more and more in my daw, I have a 7-day sunny smile on my face. You speak entirely from my heart. I felt so alone with everything. Although I got to know one or the other musician, the drive from the other side was missing to make something big out of something small. When I see others producing great things, it triggers me. And yet, behind all the creativity, I have also found the true meaning in life. To work for animal welfare to save lives. Do something that makes our world so much more beautiful. Because it's not always about us. Today I know who I am, and I keep going. Thanks so much for the video. I don't think I had found anyone who could express my feelings about music like that instagram.com/ninirockx/

legendary video ❤ Im struggling with the fact that rn all i can make is just shitty/mediocre beats. My past few beats have been used as interludes and one of em scrapped for a project. I wont lie, I do see small progress with every “breakthrough” beat, it just starts to be so draining. That being said if I wuit now I’d be going against my own advice; the only way to get better at something is to just keep doing it.

I’m a singer-songwriter and I’ve never quit, just have been afraid to share my songs. Had a record deal fall through and living in Canada when you write adult contemp/soft rock/soul, well Canada just sucks, so I packed up and moved to London. Starting your career later in life is definitely frightening because people are ageist, but I’m finally releasing stuff in the next month. Think not having a support system as a musician is the biggest factor why we lack confidence to be honest. I don’t know a single person that creates the type of music I do.

Lack of significance is a big reason why I've quit making music so many times. I've felt that my music was worthless because barely of my friends listened, I wasn't making money, & I started losing engagement on social media. My parents have told me to quit countless times because to them, music is worthless if I'm not making money from it. Ironically, they were the ones who forced me to play violin when I was 4. Similar to you, I hated it, but now, I've grown to love violin & have posted covers online for the past 6 yrs & wrote & produced my own songs. I've learned to get over my fear of how others would judge me for my music by sharing it with them. Some care to listen, while most don't. That's ok with me. Most people, except my parents, don't judge me for making music. Thank you for sharing your story!

I started writing songs right after my 12th standard as soon as I gave my maths exam which was way too terrible 😄 I decided that I wanna do music now, I started writing it, I don't have any studio or anything but just a guitar tinge of knowledge about it, but now it's been 2 years now and I'm glad that I choose it, as you said that, "if you are seeing growth from how far you've come, then it means you are on right path" I agreed completely with this thing, there're so many times when I feel like that I suck at making music but I started producing it, was terrible at the beginning obviously but eventually I learn more and practice even more Now I produce, mix, and master And also I write, sing and perform as well Thanks for the motivation ❤️

In 2014 i went to a place called 'Bjerget', which at the time was a school you'd live at. In Denmark we call that after-school/boarding school. The moto of the school was "Express Yourself", and with everyone having their way of expressing themself, I've looked for a way to express myself my intire life, and was frustrated i didn't have one. One night I was sitting alone in my room on my computer, scrolling through different videos on RU-vid not looking for anything special. Short back story, I've never at this point liked rap - in fact, i hated it because I only saw the "I got money I got bitches" part of it. Bragging about such things really wasn't something that inspired me at, all. But then I sat on RU-vid, and saw Patrick Jørgensens live performance on a talent show with his song "Million Questions". I was blown, away. The way he was telling a story and dragging me into it, his flo and rhyme-scheme was amazing to me. I was hooked, and thought maybe rap isn't just all about 'bitches & money', maybe there's more to it! - I later discovered Bmike with his song "Baby Don't Cut", which was a song about a subject many of my friends and even myself was unfortunately very close to at the time. When I finally after listening to those 2 artist, fell upon Sikworld rapping over Eminems beat "When I'm Gone" i was hooked. Sik's song was about a break-up, which I was just experiencing. Finding the original song "When I'm gone" by Eminem later on showed me that there was a world of rap I never knew existed, and of course Eminems rhyme-scheme blew me away, completely. His way of using words was sureal to me, and I develouped a passion for rhyming for a time. Now, back to 'Bjerget' where my life changed. I was on a bike-ride later that same week I discovered rap, and one of my teachers which was a best friend of mine, said "Why don't you just try and freestyle, and write your own songs? You can write about anything, you'd like". Now, this seemed very logical, but at the same time that small sentence, blew me away. I wrote my first song called "Oh My God". The school I was on was a very christian place, and I was sick of hearing about 'Gods love for everyone' while hearing the news "Another school shooting took place in the usa".. So I wrote a song about it, and for the first time, I was able to grap my fellow student, friends & family's attention like never before. I become somewhat good at it, and people supported me A LOT in those early days. Had I not had the support I had from them, I would'a never been the rapper I am today. Fast forward to 2017, my friend tought me how to produce. I spent every second I had watching tutorials, discovering people like Lary King, In The Mix, Kyle Beats, a whole new world had opend for me. I knew back at Bjerget that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life, and about 1 year into producing, I knew that THIS was exactly, what I was meant to do. So I started chasing it. My ultimate goal was then born, to become a full time music producer, who was making his own rap songs on the site - and here comes the best part - documenting the journey in Becoming Cad, which is the name of my documentary that I'm currently filming, and looking forward to share with my kids when I've made it and also had kids. I've thought about quitting lately, due to sevear deppression and suffering from ptsd making the music-life extremely hard. I've decided to take my first real break since I started in 2017. In 2023 my goal is to see if I can somehow reach 1 million streams on Spotify. There's something about chasing the impossible, that's amazing to me and that's the exact reason I've chosen not to quit. The million streams is just one of my goals, I have plenty - and your TikTok about not reaching your goals really inspired me to keep going, so I wanna thank you for that. No matter how bit the challenge and obstacle, chasing the impossible in an uphill battle is something most ppl wouldn't dream to do, and doing it, makes me feel a bit special in a way. I've followed you for a while, and this video really hit close to home, so I thought I'd share my story with you. Hope you had a coffee with ya 'cause this got way longer than I anticipated it would haha. Thanks for sharing your story, it deeply inspired me. Good luck on your Journey!

Thanks for sharing your story! I have been making beats for about 4 years now. Recently I let my friends and my family listen to my beats on thanksgiving and said “what are you doing?! You haven’t released anything yet?” And I kept saying yes yes I will but in reality, I’m low key scared. Releasing and the world coming at my neck how wack it is and stuff like that. Probably not going to happen but that’s what I think what will happen. Fear of rejection and acceptance. But watching your videos inspired me to push harder and not care what others think because music is everything to me. Music got me out of a dark place and I just want to heal the world with mines. I started making music 2 years ago. It's been a soul crushing experience. Giving up is a daily consideration. I'm honestly not sure why I haven't yet. I keep telling myself to just hang in there but it's getting harder to convince myself.

I definitely relate to a bunch of this. I still kinda have difficulty telling people completely what I do. I am at a point were I can tell them i make music, produce beats and do my own mixing and mastering; but telling them specifically its Hip Hop and I rap over my own beats is still difficult. Im more confident now so even though I know i can improve, I am ok with people I know knowing about it. New people its still difficult

Very relatable. Thank you so much for this The last topic is what is keeping me from really making music anymore. I also never experienced high volume anxiety attacks until 2019 and it feels like it’s helping do more damage as I was also going through mental abuse. Everything I thought when coming back to music hurt and still does. I quit in 2016 but had made one song in 2019. The artist who had reached out to me not only had I really looked up to that year passed away on the first of this year. Last she asked was did I drop that song yet? Easy answer is to drop the song yet? I feel like I could’ve done more and that also adds as a pushback.I built a real friendship with this person and they will never get to hear our song. I’m trying to get out of my head. Don’t have even a handful of friends anymore and it’s brings me comfort that I can do my own thing just like you said. It works a little bit but then It’s this huge mental wall that just makes me sick. It’s almost like you don’t have to even think much into anything sometimes. It just takes that one thought to bring you down and it’s harder to feel better. I’m very happy you made it back doing what you love and if you feel like you need to quit 3 more times do whatever makes you happy. I’m just back skateboarding too and it showed me I was better than where I left off or more so that I could learn faster and more efficiently. Taking time away from things you love is also good. It definitely helps clear your mind.

So I’m taking from that and applying it to my music production and artistry
