Hope you guys enjoyed the video, I know in spots it might’ve been a little choppy but that was because I was trying to rethink where my head was at in those times… but like I said in the video, if any of you are struggling with something similar to what I was struggling with I can always talk and listen. Hope everyone has a good day! And remember that you determine your own destiny, so if you’re not finding joy in the process of your every day life then that’s when you know it’s time to change.

Thank you for your honesty Hogan. It seems like you’ve overcome your struggles but if you ever need to talk I’m a pastor and can always make time to help someone out. Or if someone reaches out to you that you don’t have all the answers to I’d love to help. I can shoot you my email if or when you need it. That’s one thing I love about your channel, it’s clean! God bless
Thanks for sharing your story! Knowing what little I know about you and following you, I think you made the right call! Your game is looking great also!
I happened upon your video. At first it was rambling but it intrigued me and i kept watching for some reason and now i think wow what a great kid. More power to you Hogan. I subscribed to see you in the future. Good luck.
Thanks for the video. I was always wondering what happened with your college golf but didn't want to ask! Your swing is dope and your videos are great.
Nice to hear you open up Hogan! 👏 always a hard thing to do but from the content I've seen from you after spotting you on Brysons channel, you made a great choice to use this platform! You have fun, you do what you love and you are great at it so just keep going and grow my man 💪
thanks brother! i appreciate your openness and honesty in sharing your journey, warts and all. even tho i am like twice your age, what you said was inspiring and i hope everyone who sees this feels that great energy, and tries to use it for positive in their own lives. keep funky, hogie!!
Yo Hogan. Dig the honesty. Would you be interested in making a video for younger golfers (my son and daughter) on what to expect when playing golf for a school? I loved the honesty in this, and it was pretty 'humanizing' seeing this vid of you. Thank you for posting it.
great commentary. as a high school coach at a school that produces numerous D1 players each year, the whole college golf scene is very different than hs and or playing for the love of golf. It becomes a business. You are not defined as a person by the score you shoot. I could say so much more, but nice going.
My own personal experience was far different but similar in some ways. I didn't play HS golf or college golf, but found a love for it in the Navy. I dabbled with it in HS but just didn't play. Got out wanting to play on the PGA Tour. Tried a few Monday qualifiers and didn't succeed. It got to a point where I just hated it. I hated watching it on tv. I had such resentment for it and the pros that I didn't want anything to do with it. It wasn't for a lack of practice or desire. The saying work hard and good things will happen, well I felt like I was the anomaly. I literally quit playing for like 15 years or so. I would play occasionally just for fun, no scorecard. Then the pandemic hit. I thought with the advancement in tech, practicing at home was more attainable now. I've been at it now for a little over a year and I'm still fighting with getting back to a point where I was 20 plus years ago. At least it's fun now and I enjoy it.
Hey Hogan, obviously good havin` done this video for you personally. But this will furthermore inspire other guys to think over what and for what reason they are doing the things they are doing. Good stuff overall and continue. All the best from Germany. Cheers.
Okay but talk about how you met Bryson and how you moved in with him and how that’s been. How have you been making money besides for RU-vid now if you do. You’re obviously sponsored by Bridgestone. Would love to know more about that.
I know this is a cliche but it's so true. I bet you get it now after what you've gone through. But sometimes you got to get lost before you can find yourself. So that first time you were on GM golf was that the beginning of your journey back to golf
I did love the story really hit home I went thru similar situation when I was younger I played basketball and was 4th pg state of Michigan struggle my freshman year of college gave up on my self not knowing then what was making me miserable and it was the results and pressure. I would like you to know that took me a long time to realize it I’m 39 now and what was key to me was realizing I always had a coach in every sport I played and finally realized why don’t I have a life coach to help thru all life throws at you and that’s what I did got a therapist I concider her my life coach and I am much happier now. I wanted to share to what worked for me hopefully it helps you. Continue your dream I always like you as a person even back when u we’re on g- rats channel good luck. I also love your guys regency channel very inspiring. Thank you for reading my comments.
Really sucks being insecure. If I could just somehow not give af about what others think, I'll be alright. For right now though, I want to Will Smith people who try to tease me. I'm sick of it lol
