Good on you Chrissy. I get it. It was a time sink at so many levels and also a joy sink when I felt “obligated” to progress.

Yeah, I definitely felt an obligation as well, but putting my feelings about the challenge aside, I do want to say that I'm proud of you for completing Rags to Riches! I've definitely been impressed along the way with your pace and all of the tutorials/tips and tricks videos you put out to help other R2R players through the challenge.

Girl I know how you feel. Each creator was changing the rules to suit themselves. It just was to much.

I’m still playing R2R kinda, sorta. But I haven’t met any goals yet (except that I have a golden watering can), and I’m not really caring about it. I’m really just playing my game and not worried about the rules because they all seem wish washy.

Girl, I totally get your frustrations. I really wish the rules were just consistent from the beginning and not constantly changing. And the restrictive nature of Non R2R players not being able to interact with us was so limiting. I hope you will be able to enjoy ACNH once more.

💯 I still love ACNH, and before I started my channel I played the game as intended (no time traveling, no treasure islands, etc.) and I really do like to play that way. I just think there were too many rules so I didn't think the challenge was fun. But I'm finally allowing myself to play like a creator (time traveling and using treasure islands) and focus on making a beautiful island and because I haven't played that way before, the game feels fresh and fun for me.

I tried R2R. I made mistakes. I restarted. Four times. Then gave up. No more fluid rules for me, tyvm. My three functioning brain cells need guidelines to be fixed and easily understood. Whew.

💯 I spend enough time feeling overwhelmed and confused. I don't need Animal Crossing to feel like that too!
