Exactly the answer I was asking the Lord three days back (call me dramatic but your girl was overwhelmed with all the efforts I'd put on my hair!!) For me I just feel like my life revolved around my hair(for example, I would unwillingly skip my workout routine on Day 2 so that I don't mess up my hair and that's when I knew this is not something I'd like to happen to me because today it's a simple rest day but tomorrow it could become an excuse for the slightest of things which would be a great trouble maybe!) Sis that's why after a point I just couldn't do CGM I mean the plopping and scrunching alone gave me a neck sprain😂😂 now I pretty much follow a similar method like you suggested but instead of combing hair while showering and using a conditioner I comb before applying leave in conditioner to ensure each hair strand is divided and gets the natural curly definition. Cgm it is mostly for African-American or curly or wavy woman who are from countries like US or Europe. It’s better suited for colder countries where the water can be very harsh and drying. India is blessed with a warm tropical climate and softer water but we also have heavily polluted and dusty environment, so we should be washing our scalp regularly, otherwise, we will be prone to dermatitis and dandruff. I honestly think that in humid and hot weather, we should not be putting so much products. Most women in India I think would be doing a lot better with just one and done products. I think we mostly need leave in conditioner plus curl cream as it moisturises hair and gel gives curls a structure. If u are wavy you will need lesser products . I feel I do my best with just a Leav in conditioner sometimes I even apply gel and maybe a moose if I feel special but a leave in conditioner cum curl cream from bare anatomy is more than enough for me. It all depends upon your scalp needs and your hair needs, one size will never fit everyone.
Hey, I have tried gels with both light and medium hold. While the light hold works better on low porosity hair it causes alot of buildup even if you use a small amount and by day 2 your hair looks greasy.
Sure thing, in the meantime try using scrunchies in small size as it is tight enough to hold 2b wavy hair with low or medium porosity compared to the one in medium and large sizes,hope that helps❤
Hi.. how do u maintain the curls till ur next wash?? Using satin bonnets and pillow cover will reduce the frizz to some extent. Hair will look messy even with all the protection. How do u tackle it?
I'm using for my coarse wavy hair - shampoo, conditioner/ hair mask/ deep conditioning mask, curl cream, gel, argan oil as serum ... But the question is im beginner and i want to know why my hair trands seperated even though i use comb styling my hair gets stringy& frizzy... Help 5:47
