I just found your channel and watched a few of your videos, I really like your thoughtful approach to this sort of content and how you try not to judge others for not making the same decisions as you. It's a nice alternative to the dominant productivity and pessimistic dude-bro ("alpha" i guess) stuff that's popular on here. Pointing out how the problem is specific to your own personality, but how others might be able to relate is really insightful. Your volunteer experience, passion for your hobbies, and love for travel are great positive motivations! My personal approach to gaming is to view it as art itself, like one would with literature or film, and see what I can learn from it while also just enjoying the experience (after other important tasks are done). Games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus are great examples of this. I try to avoid multiplayer and games that are obviously time-sinks like the ones you mentioned, unless they're for short bursts as a social activity with my partner or friends. I think it's important to consider this perspective, but many do find it difficult to pull themselves away from the MMOs and moba type games, so you're own experience is appreciated.
