Yep, that's why I did it and gave up my US citizenship, despite having no 'plan b' anymore - thought I'd need a second passport again, or some good residencies, but truthfully you don't need such a thing so long as you have some level of wealth and are a respectable person - getting visas is extremely easy and painless if you have some level of wealth. Not once at an embassy or immigration has anyone looked down on the passport, questioned it beyond curiosity, or even knew where or what it was.

You can’t compare an American, western European or Canadian passport holder( even if you have renounced your passport) experience for getting a visa with other for example Middle Eastern citizens For example I worth a lot( made a wealth from my current business and had money from my parents) I hold two engineering degrees. Been to too many countries around the world. Married to a successful person, who besides his job, comes from old money as well. Our daughter goes to one of the top schools in the country which for primary years we pay same tuition as my sister paid for her son in kings university, and yet we were treated as if we wanted to steal sth in our last Schengen application. Come on, who wants to leave luxury Middle East and go live in Greece or Italy? Your experience is purely relevant to your birth country no more no less

I believe you must declare if you are a citizen of the US when visiting Iran, as the laws regarding US citizens requiring a guide/minder are not languaged in a way for you to be fine just because you didn't enter as a US-person, and thus you'd be breaking the law by being present as a US-person on a non-US passport assuming you did not declare it and have this waived, but regardless the US will know and you will have issues when you go to the US again imo, and could face arrest in Iran depending on the locality (some don't care, if land-crossing in).

Yeah it's doable in Grenada and Dominica for 50 to 100k. There was a documentary about it. Maybe the prices went up because some ex-president or minister got caught hustling on camera. It's legit if you have a clean record. But it's maybe more trouble than it's worth because you might attract attention and become politically exposed. It's only worth it if you wanna swim in the cesspool of deep state actors, be called Your Excellency, or if you dont want to pay parking tickets in your country of affectation only while performing official duties.

There may be others, and we know for sure St Lucia and Comoros, and likely Antigua & Barbuda now. Serbia seems likely, Georgia also seems likely. Morroco and Angola being available visa free leads me to believe likely Russian citizenship because your wife is both Russian and Armenian, and you have said you would not want to obtain Turkish and Armenian citizenship because of the historical conflict there, but Turkish citizenship is not out of the question with your properties there. As your adopted sisters are Russian by birth, that seems likely, but it would also mean this needs updating because the country formerly known as Zaire, now is it Congo or Democratic Republic of the Congo has added e-visa access to Russia and Turkey. I mean both Russia and Turkey have e-visa access to Mexico, and a Colombian residency permit gets you access to Mexico too, so your Colombian residency explains that, but with the changes in African access for many passports in the last few months, I suspect this needs some updating whether or not I am correct. Some countries have lost some African access and others have gained some.

Turkey is not a good country for an investor because they have 40% capital gains tax. Russia is a great non-Western passport to get and not many people realize but the USA gives Russian citizens a 3 year multiple entry tourist visa. Russia also grants the same to USA citizens (I have one).
@jeremyleonbarlow
@jeremyleonbarlow 10 месяцев назад
@@user-xg6yc8ho3w if you are not tax resident in Turkey it may not be a bad gap filler passport. I mean it appears as long as beneficiaries of your estate are not living in Turkey and you are not resident there at the time of your demise, the Turkish estate tax won't effect you, and capital gains tax on a small portion of your wealth invested into some real estate that gives you a fair ROI from renters for the few years you must hold it would not be a bad way to get an essentially free passport.

I believe he said in one of his videos that he had an alternate way of getting into Mexico (probably a residence permit like you suggest) which means he doesn't have a passport with visa free access. This eliminates Russia and Turkey.
@jeremyleonbarlow
@jeremyleonbarlow 10 месяцев назад
@@LoveClassicMusic0205 honestly access to Sudan, Paraguay, Morroco, Brunei, and Angola look impossible to explain without a few other countries in Africa also having access available under the current rules, so the Mexico issue is less perplexing. It is possible that Morroco is the result of access via Schengen residency permit or an Irish residence permit. Sudan could be explained by either Turkish or St Kitts citizenship. Brunei, and Paraguay are explained by either Russia or Turkey, as is Morroco, but Angola with five passports assuming he did get Antigua makes Russia make the most sense, but also might mean Serbia is not one of the countries even though it seems really likely he obtained Serbian citizenship. The Russian nationality law would seem unlikely to be one Andrew complied with given the five year residency requirement, unless he has a good connection within the administration and was granted citizenship by exception. I have no idea how Angola is on the list unless Turkey and Angola have ratified their agreement for reciprocal visa free travel recently, but even then Turkey has aome additional access in Africa now that is not on the list. Turkey seems to make the most sense as he does own property in Turkey despite the fact that his wife has Armenian citizenship.

@ramitch4581
@ramitch4581 10 месяцев назад
From experience you will usually get better exchange rates into the currency from within the country itself. I recently went on a trip from my country to another and got a small amount switched in my country before I left, then used ATMs with the card from my own country throughout the trip. This worked well because my bank waives ATM fees anywhere as long as I meet certain requirements, so I was only charged a conversion rate. I actually opened my bank account with another bank as well just for their international ATM withdraw prices, it has been sitting in my draw ever since. I used this strategy because I identified it as the best through research. So find what options you have, look for what people have done previously when travelling from your country.
