@@terrylafauci791 both have similar battey life, also the ip14pm. Depends on system version, brightness lvl, sound lvl, app versions and inegration etc....very similar all 3 phones. Friend has ip14pm, I have s23u, we both have almost the same battery life
I have the S23 Ultra. I don’t like the squared corners. And I’ve never used the S-Pen. It’s a great phone, however. Customization is nice, but I really don’t customize anything other than wallpaper or picking a ringtone.
I feel your pain. There are days when I really miss my S23 Ultra when I got my 14 Pro Max. When the Pixel 8 Pro came out I was super interested in this product from the standpoint of the AI. Also when I was traveling this summer I really missed the zoom lens of the S23 Ultra. Now that I have my 15 Pro Max, it still gets hot so, I am hoping that gets fixed.
I agree with your thoughts on 15 PMx; my friend has one but kept denying it's getting warmer when all apps are running in the background. I told him not to upgrade yet; he's the type of guy who upgrade his iPhone yearly.
I’ve had pixel 7, s23 ultra and fold 5, iPhone 14 pro max and then iPhone 15 pro max, the s23 was smoother and better than my iPhone 14 pro max, but the iPhone 15 battery life is outperforming the s23 ultra and especially the Z fold 5. And I’ve used it for gaming, social media and text/ calls, the iPhone 15 feels quicker, smoother and the battery is amazing. I put the 15 pro max over S23 ultra
Have the S22 Ultra. My first Android phone ever. Have been using that alongside the Pixel 7 Pro, and I'm not going back to iPhones. As far as the Ecosystem is concerned, Link to Windows is phenomenal. Dex, Link Sharing, Quick Sharing, everything works fantastically.
Me loving both phones I will say navigation gestures are way better on the Galaxy side. You can go back by swiping on either side where on the iPhone it has to be on the left hand side. The Galaxy also gives you options to do all kinds of extra gestures with different swipes. With such big screens it's super helpful. Multi tasking is another big one. Apple has a big screen and doesn't do anything extra with it.
All I can and is going to say is that I like my Galaxy S23 Ultra. It has been a powerhouse for me and my personal go to. Benchmark results says it all and nor do they lie. To me, the S23 Ultra is just a straight up beast that can't be contained. Since the latest system update, it has only gotten better with it's even brighter display. As far as I know, this is Samsung's first ever smartphone with HD call quality. I've used iPhones back in the day, but this is where it's at and only getting better. I don't have anything against Apple, I have owned their computers and I still own a iPad, however.... when it comes down to getting more done, the Galaxy S23 Ultra gets more done hands down, no questions asked. It's more spank for the buck. Besides, I can't do without the back key that are featured on android devices. It has been seen across many of platforms such as Verizon and others, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is the most requested, the most sort after smartphone there is. Love everything about it's awesomeness. It's not just a smartphone, it's a from start to finish smartphone. Is it pricey? Yes, do it earn it's stripes for being pricey? Yes indeed. I like the square look and the placement of the camera lens, makes the phone look so very unique and stylish. IPhone is cool, if that's your thing, all I can say is exactly what I see, and that's the Galaxy S23 Ultra is head of the leaders board right now, no offense to those like their iPhones because like most have said here, it's all about what you personally prefer, so with that said, it's no wrong or right until that S23 Ultra get down behind that iPhone 😮😮😮😮.
I love your channel bro, I have had both phones, the S 23 ultra and I currently have the 15 Pro max and to be really honest if you’re just a normal every day person both of these phones are extraordinary but non content creators, These phones are top-tier. Phones are becoming more than mortgage payments these days😂
I have owned an iPhone 11PM, iPhone 14PM and a S23Ultra. I was shocked by how much more anoying the dynamic Island of the 14 and 15 was compared to the notch on the 11PM. Every game I played and every video I watched I realy felt like the Island is "in the way" I didn't get the same feeling of neither the hole on the S23U or the notch of the 11PM. When gaming all controls has to be pushed ever so slighty closer to the middle and that makes the screen feel almost an inch smaller than it it.
This is an eye opener for me to instead buy S 23 Ultra instead... and truthly speaking, I was on the fence about getting Iphone 15 Pro Max as my second driver I rather turn to the 13 Pro Max or just released Pixel 8 Pro
honestly the main thing that keeps me wanting to stick with Apple isn't the brand, iOS, or ecosystem. Sure those things work well, but the main thing for me is the damn voicemail. If you get a ton of voicemail/phone calls the iPhones innate voicemail system just works and it comes out the box like that. The amount of frustration I get when having to press 7 over and over again on my S21 ultra gets really tiring. And before anyone says anything I know there are some apps that can possibly give a similar feature, but they just don't work as seemlessly.
I got my S23 Ultra a month ago for 950€ while 15PM costs 1900€ (in my country). This phone is just crazy, took me a week to set everything up and get used to it since I owned a full apple ecosystem, but man... The best phone of all time hands down
S24 will have significant performance increases from the Snapdragon gen 3 and also many AI features, stacked battery and much more. Battery alone is worth the upgrade.@@jurgenkoks9142
A lot of it comes down to preference, s23 ultra a beast and this year Samsung will be a powerhouse, I own both and to me its ecosystem as well, but mostly preference……. If u include the pixel it comes down to preference and ecosystem now cuz all these phones are amazing
Says he who buys the S23U after the S22U. Worst of all they have a 2 year update after which it’s just security patches. It’s just funny how you people don’t compare Android to IOS but instead the hardware.
I was minutes away from pulling the trigger and going Apple but my son, who is an Apple fanboy, told me in not gonna like it and I decided against it. After playing with his 15 pro max I'm so glad I didn't do it. Now I'm waiting for the flat screen on the 24 ultra
I like the look of the s23 ultra except for the curved screen. That is why I moved to the iPhone. I absolutely hate that curve. My last android was the 7 edge. I was over it fast. But good video!! People like options!
Im using a 14 pro max rn but i prefer the rounded edges on the s23 ultra. Maybe one of those grass is greener on the other side kinda things. When I played with the s23 ultra, i found the curved edges made it more comfortable to hold and pocket.
Its 30% less curved than s22U, you can barely notice it. to me, after all the samsungs, ti seems like flat screen. At least its not sharp. and the ip15pm has slightly curved edges too now... Also, januáry 17, s24u comes with a flat screen. Or so the leaks suggest
I ordered the Galaxy S23 Ultra. But I had software issues❓I think it could have been a refurbished 🤳. Good thing I didn't trade in my old phone for the upgrade❗I'm gonna hold out for the G s24 Ultra 🤝
Thank you, Naseem. You're one of those rare youtubers who are not afraid to give your own opinion and tell your choice! Most youtubers are afraid as if Apple is gonna take away their perks back or something. Thanks for the reliable and unbiased review video!!!
Been using my 15 pro max for more than a month now but I still miss Android and especially Samsung's OneUI lol might go back to Samsung with my next phone in a few years
I returned my 15 pro max because i couldn’t see anything special about it.The s23u is better in so many ways.Horrible keyboard,no clipboard,no customization, the file system and galley are trash,no multitasking, the back gesture is only from the left side, anytime i entered my car,my s23u automatically connect to it contrary to iphone where i have to connect it manually, No physical sim card for US model so switching between devices is always a headache etc…the list goes on,so many annoying things that made me return it.
The only thing that's annoying me from the S23 Ultra is the size.. It's to big in the hand and to big in the pocket. When I walk on the street with navigation on with the S23 Ultra, it seems as if I have to make an effort to hold that thing properly because of the square design and the size of that thing. I think the iPhone feels better in my hand, but the S23 Ultra is technically better..
I have s23 Ultra but am experiencing hand fatigue due to long hours usage, do you experience hand fatigue in iphone 15 pro max for about straight hours of usage?
Face time is the only thing i love about iphone 🤣🤣 i got a used iphone 13 just for that but mostly using my 22ultra looking forward for the 24 ultra 🔥🔥🔥
Iphone 15 pro max... i cant stand samsungs emoji, resale value, camera exposure and the look of some apps. Otherwise its a complete package that i wont use its full potential.
The only reason I haven’t switched back to an Android device from an iPhone is the camera quality. I do a lot of content creation for work and I’m afraid the quality of my photos/videos won’t be the same 😩
What music did you use for the speaker comparison? It’s pretty dope. Also Im due for my upgrade in January and I honestly don’t know which one to get. The iPhone 15 Pro Max or the S23 ultra. I currently use an iPhone 11 and I do love iMessage but outside of iMessage there’s really nothing else that wows me
Switched from S21U to iPhone 15 pro max and I'm returning it. Apps and software feel buttery smooth on IOS but Samsung just has way too many features I can't live without.
i currently have the s23 ultra, the iphone 15 pro max and the iphone 14 pro max . and the phone i'm reaching most for is the s23 ultra . so i'm going to be sticking to that one, i feel like it's snappier than the iphones , and i have tested them all the whole day and literally in most apps the s23 ultra is faster, has faster scrolling and it doesnt refresh news feeds as often as the iphones :)
Ppl using galaxy/iphone will keep using galaxy/iphone for the sake of simplicity and bias. Some will move to iphone/galaxy for the sake trying new things out or "grass is greener on the other side" . Both Sammy and Apple are great to their own respect. Just preference of what you want to use. In the end, its do you like Android or iOS. Both the best in their market so
I got a 15 pro max from Costco to try it out, because I have been using a Note 9 and it is finally getting old enough to warrant upgrading. But shit I miss my Note 9! And it doesn't even have the latest android updates! But I still miss it! The Note 9 felt like an actual computer with limitless possibilities. The iphone feels handicapped. I used to root my androids and do roms and stuff, I dont' really do that shit anymore, but at the least I still want to sideload apps and customize my phone. So the iphone feels like a toy in comparison. I can't torrent anymore because the iphone doesn't have torrent apps. Just sucks man
i have the galaxy s23 ultra but i was thinking about switching to iphone for a really long time. However, after watching this video i am beginning to reconsider becuz i think if i make the switch that i will miss so many of the capabilities that i have on my galaxy. I don't want to get an iphone and then have buyer's remorse so i may just stick with my galaxy.
I was thinking about switching to the iPhone...not because I don't like my Ultra23 but I just want something different since I've had Samsung since the S3....but I dunnoo
I own the Galaxy S23 Ultra. I love it. I've never owned, nor used, an iPhone, and I have no desire to do so. I love the S23's capacities (512gig hard drive; 12 megs of Ram; huge battery; big screen). I love how much, or little, I can customize the display(s). I'm still learning more of its capabilities, because of some of the great YT tutorials. I keep the the OS up to date. Love it.
I felt that way at some point, but I decided to go full beast mode and bought the fold 5. There's no way I'll ever go back to an iPhone or normal S galaxy phone!
I’ve recently done this. You will miss some features on the S23 ultra, for me those were back gesture on both sides of the screen, ability to pull down Notification Centre swiping down anywhere on the screen and split screen multi-tasking. On the iPhone side the experience on apps across the board are nicer to use , best way I am explain it is that they are ‘buttery smooth’
How did you get that weather date battery percentage widget on the Home Screen of the iPhone ? I have the 14 pro max and it’s not available like that. Is it only on the 15 ?
switched from the iPhone ecosystem when the s23 ultra came out went with it to try something new and damn you can can do soooo much it's crazy it's a legit computer in your pocket iMessage is the only thing i miss but it's fine
I think 1) world's best Display right now 2) powerful chipset with well software & storage management 3) best camera & video setup with lots of features 4) Better performance in every field 4) beautiful design with 'S' pen 👑 S23 ultra is a killer...
I'm interested in trying the iPhone 15 pro/ max. One think I always use and definitely don't want to miss out is how fast I can turn on/ off my location/ Bluetooth and Wifi PERMANENTLY! HATE when it turns on again automatically on ios!! Is there a trick on apple to have it as simple and easy as on Android??? Thanks
@AndreiSrgi that's the reason I switched back to Android after one month...but in the Android world, if you want want to have the best camera system, you have to carry a tablet size phone, the regular iPhone pro has the best camera system in a perfect sized form factor.
Had every S up to S23 ultra.. i can honestly say that i like my iphone 15 pro max more.. even thought customization is lacking battery is much better and gaming is insanely faster. Plus if you learn the camera controls i think you re gonna enjoy iphone more.. i kinda hate that whole artificial look in galaxy s pictures after all these years.
I just switched to s22 ultra from the iPhone 14 pro max. It was the best decision I've made. Also I got the Galaxy watch 6 classic silver version which has a lot of chrome!!! I'm just disappointed I hadn't done this earlier
I gave my S21 Ultra to my gf as I switched to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I regret it lol, it’s good but lacks so many things that Samsung has already, even scrolling feels weird compared to Samsung lol, Apple is not anymore what it once was, today is just another one instead of The One.
I traded my S21 Ultra for the iPhone 15 Pro Max and instantly regretted it. I returned it and got the S23 Ultra instead. The smooth scrolling irritates me compared to the fast scrolling Samsung has.
@@unknownwarrior5672 I do, but I came from an S21 Ultra, there are little things that makes the experience different but they seem to be MANY little things and it became annoying to me to deal with this. They don't let me return it because I supposedly only have 7-14 days to return it, and it has been 20 already, so I'm trying to sell it atm to get an S23, which is cheaper and to me seems MUCH better in comparison and responsiveness. Although it all comes down to persoanl preference, if you're on an iPhone 11, 12 or 13, you'll get an upgrade, but for the time increase, to me it feels like I payed more for a downgrade. PS: This is not a biased opinion.
@@Fuinhaa thanks for your input. I'm making the exact same switch but i hope to have a different experience lol. Hoping i will enjoy it despite the flaws
I used to use the Galaxy Ultra and have been using the Pixel 8 Pro for 3 weeks now. I miss my Galaxy 23 Ultra so much. I came here for a simple Android experience, but the reality was not like that. Galaxy in every way is better.
Hi first of all great video, so I have a question I have an Ipad and airpods but use a Samsung S9. Im looking to buy a new phone but cant decide If I want to switch to Iphone or stay with Samsung. I love Samsung and enjoy android a lot. My family loves apple but I think ios is kind of boring. I just dont know Im scared to regret it. Does anyone has advise or already some experience ?
I wouldn't switch to a iPhone bro you're going to hate it. You'll be bored in a couple hours. Especially since you're coming from a s9. Get the s23u or wait for the s24u since it's like 2-3 months away
Guy! I have been offered £639 for the S23 ultra by using voucher £250 off and traded the iPhone 12 Pro Max for around £340. Is it worth it? I’m not sure what to do! S24 Ultra coming in 2 months! Advice, please.
Fickle people always fall for the hype. If you only use your phone for digital media and communication. IPhone wil be enough but for anything else. Android.
Funny, I made a commitment to really give the iPhone 15 Pro Max a chance. I even sold my Galaxy S23 Ultra to a friend. I really regret that now lol. To be fair the iPhone is a good phone it’s just that my favorite news app is not available on iOS and I’m less impressed with the pictures I’ve gotten out of it than I anticipated I would be. Also typing has been crazy inaccurate and harder to fix. Maybe it’s just a learning curve but I’m almost certain I’ll return to android. Also turns out most of my friends are android users so there’s been no benefit to me using iMessage outside of being able to message from my MacBook.
@@Mike-wz2ve I went back to iPhone 15 pro. More stability… it’s nice to be able to zoom, but I never used the feature that much… I’m just stuck in the ecosystem… overall really great device
I use both. I’m sticking to my 15 pro max. It just gets the work done. I don’t have to worry about ads, or a freezing screen in my banking apps unlike my s23u
