Seriously man, you have got one mean killing machine set up there. Sweet! I'm 72 years old and 62-63 is my max for several years now but it works with 456 grain arrows and Magnus Black Hornet. Like your style! 👍👍🏹
we are pretty close I have the V3 31 at 78 pounds with 29 inch draw 550 grain arrow with iron will solids not the wide..I have yet to find an animal it wont blow through and it shoots pretty darn flat. I will be getting the V3X 29 in another 3 weeks or so almost got the 2 grand saved up for it and new acc... thx for sharing your set up brother look foward to the next video. God Bless
Agree completely. 84lb Ventum is so smooth... but my last bow was a Carbon defiant turbo @ 75 so it's hard to compare the two. If you can pull it in 10* weather after freezing all day then do it.
Nice bow man, if you can pull 80 comfortably go for it, I would if I could but I don't go to the gym everyday and not huge, so I'm comfortable with 60#, everyone is different in strength and size, but I hate that other bow companies don't make that bow stand.
I shoot mathews v3x 29 in granite wt red and black strings. Spot Hogg fast Eddie xl double pin sight in the bridge lock. The mathews 1pc 5arrow low pro quiver.Hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews wt the c o r mount and micro adjust. Conquest control freak pro stabilizers 12 in the front and a lower back bar wt a 9. 67 pounds 29 inch draw Easton axis 5mm 340 spine 430 grains. And I shoot a stan shootoff TL. Nice review and nice bow.
No questions from me yet, just wanna say keep it up. I just followed you on Instagram, just subscribed here. Can’t wait to see what kinda stuff you put out!
Hey Andre, I’m going to start bow hunting and looking at getting a V3X 33. Is that going to be an unforgiving choice for a first timer? I want something that I won’t outgrow which is why I’m going all in for a flagship bow. But I have a deal Ona 2020 Hoyt RX4 as well to consider. Budget is not the factor… shoot-ability is though
Have you shot that set up through the chrono? I shoot an almost identical arrow setup at 70# and get around 275, just wondering if the extra 10# is worth it
Nothing wrong with shooting 80# I did it for years. I’ll be 56 in a few months still shooting 70#. If I had your guns💪🏼💪🏼 id probably be shooting 80#😂👍 what is the bow stand called
My question is how do you get that far out of site tape I have a v3x 29 pulling 77lbs 29.5" draw 426gr arrow black gold dual track site and I lose clearance at 104 yards
I have a v3x 29 pulling 73# 28.5 shooting 410gr arrow, black gold accent verdict 3 pin. Sight bottoms out at 123 yards with 3/8 inch vane clearance left. Bottom pin in center of my housing.
You're shooting 80lbs because it's your choice on the flip side 80lb draw is nothing special not sure why Everyone thinks it's so hard if you can pull 70 you can pull 80
You shoot 80#’s because you can… yeah you can kill a deer with a 350 grain arrow coming out a 45# bow… heck you can kill and elk with that also… but it is obvious that heavier arrows get more penetration… also, faster arrows get more penetration… also, the faster the arrow flys, the straighter it flys, means less trajectory… so your less likely to miss if the animal moves on you after you set your sight… so if you can shoot a heavy arrow, fast… then that set up will be more forgiving.
