Hey man, don't be surprised by how many people want to see your videos: 1) You showcase some amazing cars; 2) Your video production is nothing short of stellar; and 3) You present the information very well. You come across as genuine and very undouche like - which, unfortunately, alot of guys who try the car youtube channel thing have problems with. Not only that (I guess we can make this a 3A ;) ) but you interact with your subscribers - as much as one man can with 60K followers. So keep up the good work, bro. You're doing awesome.
+Devin LaVore Agree on all points. Didn't realise this before but you're right! some of the other youtube car guys do Indeed come off a little douchey! : P
+Maky M Funny :) Yeah, and there are so many of them - SO MANY. But JDub has really established himself, I believe, because he's just a cool guy, being himself, sharing his car-life with you. Too many others are trying to BE something, instead of just being themselves :)
+Henris Ivaskevicius Unfortunately not, his Speciale was for sale at Ferrari Stratstone Manchester a couple of weeks ago (saw it on the webpage). I guess it is already sold to a new customer since it is not listed on their webpage anymore.
Why are people giving out so much hate?? He says he prefers the gt3 as its more of a usable car, and ferrari gave him big dollars for it! Get over it people 👍🏻
+Ore 2015 Maybe, maybe not - but leave a car like that with me for 5 years and I guarantee you it would be he highest mileage Speciale in the UK so time wouldn't have made a difference 😂
JWW your now in my top 3 youtubers, your videos are well edited, thought out and executed. your a complete natural at this keep doing what your doing and big things are going to happen, love your videos man keep it up!
From your explanation, the selling of the speciale sounds like a no-brainer to me. Like you say I'm sure you're sad to see it go but it sounds like you have exciting things planned. Great videos man and loving seeing the F12 more! The night run video is quality, both behind the scenes and the finished thing! Keep up the good work!
+Mr JWW It was perfectly reasonable to sell it James, you would be crazy not to do it under those terms! We enjoy your videos so much and looking forward to all that is coming, especially the new car, that is always so exciting, even for us hehe cheers!
I like how you're a real guy. You come across as a genuine humble guy who just happens to have the most amazing cars. I'm happy for you. keep the vids coming!
So, basically, what's happened is you got an amazing, expensive supercar, got to enjoy it on the road and on track and now you've given it back and made some batshit crazy return on investment. Congrats man.
The 458 Speciale like the 360 Stradale have seen nothing short of insane increases in value over the last 2 years. I am not sure why, but a $120,000 Stradale 3 years ago is selling now for $280,000. I have seen Speciale that sold originally for $300,000 resale in Dubai for $500,000 a similar increase in dollar value. The GT3RS is around $200,000 and will likely never be worth $500,000, but it is a lot of fun. Your F12 is itself over $300,000 and it is an amazing car in a Grand Touring way. After owning 52 cars in the last 26 years, I try not to get too attached to any one car, they are just cars. For the people who were going to unsubscribe due to the sale, I would say, that's your loss since JWW is likely to have some amazing stuff coming down the line.
Above all he shows such quality in everything (the cars, the language, manners and most important answers almost to all) . Nothing is random, you get the feedback you deserve James because you are doing a great job. The most amazing footage i have ever seen ,speaking about filming f12 in Manchester ''night Run'' and the behind the scenes!!!
Your Content is amazing Mr Jww, your more down to earth than a lot of more wealthy you tubers. You show us what it's actually like being around these cars and your enjoyable to watch. So please don't ever stop making these great videos. You have my support 100% man. Keep it up.
Well then. I stand corrected. And here I thought all this time that for sure, you were going to announce a Speciale A or an F12 TDF as a replacement for the Speciale. Good call, though. It was inevitable that you were eventually going to get "the call"from your Ferrari dealer. Can't wait to see the new car.
Another great video Mr JWW! You have come so far in so little time. I remember when you were on 2000 subscribers! I really do look forward to your next videos.
+AJCars He is for sure the best car guy on youtube at the moment. I follow him since the beginning. Such a nice guy and really talented in making videos.
What I like about this guy his ability to communicate.......he can dissect the qualities of different cars and then compare them - and this where the talent shines - in an objective fashion yet with passion (which can often be diluted when things get objective) and without denigrating any car. High quality, positive content. Well done sir!
I enjoy watching your videos. You are so much more charismatic than most of the other car RU-vidrs. A real gentleman, and you deserve a whole lot more subscribers.
at first...I thought...Oh fuck just another rich dude on the tube but....this man has great communicating skills and expresses himself in a very engaging manner, I'm a subscriber. Thanks for the video
You're the best car vlogger out there! It's a pleasure watching your stuff. It's sad to see the 458 is out! But I'm so happy you'll have a new car!M so so excited to see it! Could noting fingers! And good luck.
A few jealous haters on here in the comments, don't like it don't watch! Simples For me I love watching the videos as you see a real person owning and enjoying his cars and sharing it with everyone, it makes me want to own a car like the gt3 even more. Brilliant
Just subscribed to your channel. You're passionate about cars and i like your honesty and humility in your choices of words, tells a lot about your character. Good luck man and look 4fwd to more interesting car journeys.
We should be the ones thanking you man, your content is freaking amazing. No wonder you hit 60k subs in 5 months! your stuff is truly epic and to be honest, way better than what most of the people with 400k subs are doing. You and sam (Seen through glass) are easily the best at the moment. Keep up the great work man its incredible.
Holy shit i can not believe just how good your content is... I remember discovering you when you had a few thousand subscribers and you instantly became my favourite youtuber. You seem like such a charismatic guy and I am looking forward to the new content. Keep up the good work! Have you ever considered buying a drone to get some nice driving shots of your cars?
I'm sure it was a tough decision but that offer though, why the hell not. I underestimated the GT3. Good reasoning for the purchase, you're not a pretentious prick and you have a good taste in cars, subbed.
sad to hear the speciale go but looking forward to what comes after that. IMO you should not be shocked at the amount of people wanting to see your content. you make such great content. for me you are one of those youtubers that if a notification pops up on my phone, its a "must watch video now" type of thing..
Just checked out the price of a used speciale and wow, insane market value. I probably wouldn't be able to turn that down either. Good business decision to be fair, especially with the choice of cars you can still drive.
Sad to see the Speciale is gone, the spec was perfect but you make a good point. Totally agree with the decision, not sure if I agree on the sound though ;-). Looking forward to the remplacement of the R8. Cool video, as always.
@MrJWW Just love your videos, they are so cool, keep it up ! Following you from France since it was only 2 videos on your RU-vid chanel haha, good to see you have 60k now, wish you the best !
James. the reason you have gained so many admirers on RU-vid in such a small space of time if basically because you are a legend in your own right. I love watching your videos. You may content which involves us the people and kind of allows us to experience the thrills of owning a supercar. I mean I love my Peugeot with its Panoramic sunroof and paddle shift lol but I prefer seeing the F12 and GT3 ha ha. so thank you for being aswome and look forward to what 2016 will bring. Remember if there is a space in your schedule I would love for you to come to Colchester. All the best Alisdair.
I think I would find you talking about healthcare interesting but your talking Supercars and your passion comes right through the camera ✌🏼️ good stuff I'll subscribe for sure !
+aabidam Check the resale price. The value has nearly doubled. You'd be stupid not to sell it. Only other option would be to keep for 20 years+, never drive it and then sell as a classic car which is not guaranteed.
The 458 was an amazing car but I get your point. It's not a car you should/can drive everyday. It's a track-weapon. However, the GT3 is a relatively good car for everyday use.
I didn't think anyone could ever justify selling a Speciale but you've done it well. Another great video. Love the honesty in the reasoning too. Keep it up
Fare play to you sir, great investment car, flicked it back to Ferrari for a few quid (plus a few more 👍) and got your self on the good boy list for future investment Ferrari's. Plus you have GT3 to keep you occupied 👏. Great video as alway
Honestly loved this insight into the world these guys lived in. JWW is fast becoming my favorite RU-vid watch next to Sailing La Vagabonde but all the guys that have seen it know why I watch that 😍. One word... Elayna... Now let's see you do the coast to coast USA trip so some of us Americans get to meet you!
+funaicha1 He most certainly knew it was a track car. Let me put it this way, my experience with something basic as a normal coffee. Drank coffee at the same place for years, I thought it was delicious. At a trip in Italy, I drank one of those perfect coffees, from an old machine where everything was manually, you had to pump up pressure etc. Now that, was a the real coffee, the one at home was still good, but it will never match the sensation in Italy. Same with his Ferrari, it felt great until he discovered how much better the same thing can be :D
+Mr JWW doesn't matter! Damn must be amazing to drive the F12 with IPE. I enjoyed the NightRun video that you included in. The only question that I'm thinking of next is that... Does the F12 IPE spit any flames?
Tbh JWW, would have done exactly the same given the offer/ your current garage. Best part of the video was giving that onlooker the thumbs up. Like your humility. Look forward to seeing the new Beast!
Hey Mr Jww, I'm sure many did but i saw it for sale on their website and tweeted you. Great explanation, too many people get caught up in the whole 'needs to be the best all the time' debate. but the fact you use these cars and made an informed/"real world" decision is refreshing. Keep up the good work, enjoy your success. It isn't given.👍
+Robert Jessop Thanks Robert I appreciate the feedback and cool to hear you're a fan of the realism! Opportunities like this don't come around often so make hay while the sun shines! Not to worry though LOTS of great content coming up!
