I still play because I made what I would call "nostalgia accounts", I am using really old heroes like skull knight and grimfiend, when those heroes were meta it was really fun for me. Once I start getting to higher mights when it's impossible to use those heroes I just make a new account and do it again. The main gamemodes I do now are dungeons and HBM, I don't even do the full quest boards anymore. Even though the quest board rewards got improved I still don't want to do it, like you said with money you can get a lot of anything. Years of the quest board would be equivalent to just 5$ or even less. The community is also a main reason for me staying with CC.
You dont really have to super spend to beat top players, im f2p at 950k might, devo relic 4 Dynamica, beating relic50 Dynamicas in narcia, arena etc. I feel thats what gets me keep playing the challenge of still beating the best players after the Epics was released, and I love the new game mode narcia, im in a top 5 narcia guild on the Android server and love the challenge of going up against Iron squad/BS and 420.
I stopped playing years ago after I got an iPhone, sadly there isn’t cross platform and playing on bluestacks didn’t feel the same. Then the updates were too much and confusing
what up brother me too :) love this game Smash guild for life. i dont play some of the modes but liking the epics and just got 8th on hbm board. miss the hbm cards from lava 3. hate Narnia Feud lost its fun as the monster guild run us over. i cant wait for new dungeons or hbm
I still play tapjoy occasionally to get accumulation rewards and just stick to my guild I've left a lot of the community chats because I saw how toxic certain people were and I couldn't deal with it I'd rather play with the friends I made over the years

Im not into the game like I used to be. It's a p2w game and they add new features every time to keep milking money from users, plus I believe igg pays users to play the game and gives them free stuff in order to show the others that people do spend money, which encourages them to do so. 2 years ago or may be more, N1 was an Arab guy (I forgot his name) he literally was contacting igg in order to have some appreciation, but he was disappointed because they didn't even reply to him. You expect from a company to gift their loyal players something, but not igg. Now he deleted the videos from RU-vid channel and he regretted spending thousands of dollars. I believe top 3 players are all igg workers
I stopped playing about 8 months ago because I got bored, and I didn't like the fact that you can pay 5$ and get like 6 months of gameplay or maybe even more. The rewards from the events were really bad, not even worth playing them when you could have paid some dollars and get your account up. This was actually the big motive to stop since there was no incentive to play the game when you can just pay up.
i stop playing when they release the dove keeper, its really game changing back then, event tho i got her and im f2p. But now im play again and still f2p. As f2p i can't compete with p2p tho, i just enjoy playing at the lower level
I stopped playing because the game takes up too much time. Players purposely avoid or skip game modes simply because the time vs rewards is not worth it. Speaking of time vs rewards : the rewards from playing in CC is not worth it. It's more rewarding to purchase a $10 pack instead of grinding several hours / week. Even worse : there are items you cannot get as a player by simply playing the game, so you rely heavily on available events (f2p/p2p). There are also several game modes where you're punished for not being online at an exact time. And if that happened to be 3AM in your time zone, you simply lose out on the event. There's also the PVP wall : a low might account will hit a wall early because of how PVP works. An account without 30 breakthrough meta heroes will not be able to complete. However, an account without breakthrough heroes will have to go up against not-meta breakthrough 30 heroes and will be absolutely obliterated. I also agree with your remarks about the introduction of prestige. Adding a new currency is ok, but removing 2 and replacing it with another means there in just massive inflation happening, which is never good. I do sometimes return for nostalgia, but then I realise how bad it is and quit again. I recently started playing AFKArena, and it feels more relaxed. I'm not super high yet, but the game seems to reward participation instead of punishing absence.
very well put, totally agree with your points, especially about the f2p / p2p gap getting wider and wider. Rewards, although revamp, still nowhere near to what a small pack can get compared to a months grinding.
newer heroes are to OP and have like 3 pages of skill and are exclusive only for money spenders and F2P style is kinda dead and it's not like in the old days where there were OP heroes but even they had there weakness from other heroes so when someone uses hero X you can use hero Y and beat it but hero Z can beat hero Y but is weaker than X, so that strategy is now dead and when you have the newest 6 heroes you are strong
Its the breakthrough level it goes up to 30 and increases health, dmg, ect. It takes around 14k ignite stones just to max 1 hero.. it gets very pricey $$$
I quit last year as I couldn't keep up and it got very boring. All game modes rewards were sub par compared to what you can get even buying the lowest bundle. Also the rate of new heroes was insane, I was just building up power and filling my stores and had no sense of purpose.
I stopped playing almost 2 years now. Game progression just doesn't feel rewarding and it just got boring. Nothing as any real value. So i just stopped
I have been playing as a f2p since the release of Snowzilla , which is a long time ago , and I keep on with the game only to "prove" that you can go far without spending money on this game ( almost 700k might lol) . Nice to see you back brother!!

Stopped some years ago because the game looks like shit and igg only wants your money and doenst give a fck about the community. The inflation also is ridiculous, you can get stuff for 20 bucks now where you had to play for over a year or spend a couple hundered bucks back then. Money dogs. Plus it's getting more and more confusing i don't even understand current content of that game anymore. Back then i luckily recognized the game is shit after i played it for like 1-2 years and spent about 200€ but i will always remember cc as the game that tries to get their players money by abusing their addiction and the way their minds work. IGG is the worst company i know and this game should be banned. Some of the top spenders probably don't have relation to money anymore and waste their whole earnings on imaginary heroes in a shitty game thats what makes me sad
Garbage game, started playing in 2014 never spent money on it and in 6 fucking years I got absolutely zultch for logging in every single day, I hate IGG and I will NEVER touch an IGG game again
