You just look after number one, it's YOUR life! You have produced fantastic videos from day 1 and you owe yourself a massive, personal favour for that pleasure you have given us. We will still be here when you feel like posting again ! All the best Carla 🚲⛺🙂👍
I was wondering what has happened to you and quite frankly I was missing your videos ! But, yes, wise decision of yours to enjoy your trip without worrying about social media because it s definetely some kind of slavery and we all want freedom. Enjoy cycling in the wild, and many thanks for all the previous postings you did : so inspiring ! Un abrazo
Yes, I was wondering and missing your videos. Making these videos takes a lot of effort. I can’t believe you were editing on your phone! Glad you took the time to enjoy your trip 👍
Great to see an update - makes complete sense about not posting. Also would love to see the Bolivia video and the route you did. I'm heading there in August for a 3 weeks bike trip so keen for any tips! Good luck with the rest of the journey
Thanks for understanding!!! Can you write to me on instagram so I can give you a good response? ❤️ if you don’t have one, let me know and I’ll reply here!!
You are an angel. The ride will never end. You did so well and I was worried about you. I’m happy you are ok. I’m climbing Denali In Alaska and then looking for your next trip
Thanks for you’re update. I know what you mean it takes a lot of time filming and editing. I started my journey. Way shorter than yours. I am now in Momtpelier day 10. 1156 km. In few days i am entering Spain. Liked to see you again. ❤
Thanks for the update. Was hoping that you were ok. I always wondered how people film, edit and post while travelling as you are. Totally insane. Taking a break from that was a great idea. You dont need to be stressed about it for the entire journey. Good luck with the end game!
Fantastic to see you again. Look, starting an endeavor is simple; it's finishing that takes grit and persistence. Your videos have such high production value, and there was value in posting them as they happened. But I myself was wondering how you would fit everything in. In the end, by far you made the right choice to focus on the riding and to finish your trip. You'll have time to create a different way to chronical your travels once your are done. Your thoughtful, beautiful videos have been wonderful for all of us to see, but we're all behind you to finish your ambition.
I am so incredibly excited for you to get to your final destination. And, to have experienced what you have and shared with us!! I look forward to more videos WHEN EVER you are able and appreciate your update.
Happy to see you back, ok, and in progress to your goal! Going to miss your videos with your life goal assumed! Sorely missed you after blipping off the radar.
Thank you Carla for the update, I look forward so much for the videos on Bolivia!! I plan to do a similar solo journey from California to maybe Chile June 25 so it's a great source of inspiration and I was thrilled when you said you would make a video of Bolivia 😍 I really hope you get sponsorship someday somehow, don't lose hope and take care fellow traveller 💕
I just found your channel on RU-vid and instagram. You are right, better to live in the moment than for instagram numbers. Keep going! More power to you.
Contento de verte feliz de la vida!!! Sensaciones tienen que ser increibles a estas alturas de tu aventura. Exprìmelas.Gracias por compartirlas. Un abrazo especial Carla.
Hi Carla, Sure I noticed you were not posting but I remember you saying at one stage you were on a tight budget, so I figured you were just pegging it to the finish line. By all means finish the videos when you have time, a future you will be thankful for them. I wish I had more pictures from my travels over the last 40 years, I'd really appreciate them now.
So good to see you again!!! Your journey and your stories are incredible! but I have a feeling that this is just one of your journeys of your lifetime and the future you will be able to look back in time and be so proud! All these positive ideas you have talked about has been so good to hear from you in your videos and I think personally I have adopted at least a little bit of it and feel very grateful towards you! It's been like a journey of hope! If you will post more videos of this journey and maybe future ones or your daily thoughts of life it would mean a lot and be so good and fun!You are such a great story/travel teller, maybe show this to Spanish tv or something could create a future path for yourself. How about Patagonia brand-don't they need an ambassador?! Good luck in the future and thank you so much for this one year!!!
I love your youtube videos, but you're so right, as always. If the balance between making the videos and enjoying the experience is not working for whatever reasons (like the ones you mention), than yeah! The priority is the later. Take all the time you need. I don't care if I have to wait 2 weeks or 6 months for another great video. As long as you're happy and enjoying your great adventure, that's all I need to know. I love to hear your thoughts for the camera. You're wise and special. Keep it going and we keep cheering you on (quietly and serenely) If you happen to do a ride in Portugal, while you wait for your next big trip, I'll be happy to take you on some nice roads, landscapes and villages. I love to explore my country as I cannot be away for a long time and want to enjoy riding and exploring every month, little by little. I don't use Instagram, prefer the long videos here, just saying... not that I set the norm 😉
Awesome to see another RU-vid post. Been following your journey on Facebook and totally understand how consuming it must have been to feel the pressure to post videos instead of living in the moment. Congratulations on your trip! You have persevered, thanks for taking us along! And yes on posting Bolivia in the future!
Sense ser jo fan de youtube, m'he vist tots i cadascun dels teus vídeos. Són súper reals i captes molt bé la bellesa dels llocs que visites. M'has inspirat moltíssim per viatjar amb bici i m'has fet somiar! Espero que puguis trobar un sponsor i continuar fent aquest tipus de viatges, perquè el treball que fas és increïble!! :) Una abraçada des de ses illes!
You once told I travel to just travel, not to make videos, it's amazing (I don't think you get to imagine how much effect you have on) what your videos show and make people feel, but enjoy and live, a video you can make it later!
So lovely to hear from you. I hope the winds push you and not the other way around. Excited for you to see you arriving to destination, and looking forward to the updates down the road. 🚵♂🚴♀🚵♂
Great to see you again - I have been watching you on IG, and am not surprised you decided to put more focus on riding the bike than filming, editing and creating RU-vid videos. Totally understandable and I had sort of guessed that might be why the switchover. So amazing you are close to the end of this trip. So happy I had the chance to know you. Jim
