Makikita din sa videos kung paano yung naging growth in terms of maturity lalo na sa responsibilities. Kung anuman po maging daloy ng buhay mo, upload mo lang kung gusto mo. Piece of advice Shek, let go. May similar experience ako with you on this and the best advice I got was to let go. Kung ano man yung iniisip mong natatakot ka or nag-ooverthink ka, it’s all in your mind. Naghehesitate kang may masabi ang tao sa’yo about sa vlogs mo? It’s fine. Kahit ano naman kasi gawin mo, may masasabi pa din kung sino jan. All you should be worried about is your authenticity. Fan mo ko since college vlogs mo pa lang and pinaka unang vlog mong napanood ko is yung house tour mo sa napakalaking bahay niyo. Mayaman ka and even if maglupasay pa sino mang hater mo dahil don, nothing will change about it. You are blessed in life and it’s fine. Just know that you have your family and your Shekitings who love you and accept you for who you are. ❤️ I hope this message helps you with your mental health.

Yes that is so true me personally I really want to move out but growing up in a typical filipino family it’s really hard especially when you don’t have a “valid reason” to move out for our parents you need a valid reason and it’s really hard because I want my personal space so bad Im turning 28 this year and still don’t have a personal space at home 😔

Naiisip ko lang, i moved out when I was 16 and lived independently. Although I go back to visit my parents once in a while, umuuwi ako sa condo ko if tumatagal kase iba na yung house rules ko at di na applicable yung rules ng parents ko sakin. At ang laking bagay ng personal space at yung anxiety pag nawawala yun. Narealize ko lang din yung mga pamilyang walang kaya, yung mga students or young adults like me na walang personal space at walang choice. Iba yung anxiety at depression na nabbuild up pag ganun. Palakasan nalang talaga ng loob ngayon. Progress is a hundred times slower nitong pandemic, pero dont ever get tired trying.
Personal space is very important. Tbh mas gusto ko kumakain magisa, ung ikaw lang mag isa. Unfortunately d magets ng parents ko un. I’m already 28 years old pero sometimes they treat me as a kid, siguro dahil nag aaral pa ako currently a 4th yr med student. Andun naman ung trust nila sakin kaya lng may mga bagay na bawal to bawal ganyan. As a 28 years old/ 90’s kid parAng generation kasi namin ung may mga ganitong magulang. Or baka ung ibang parents lang. kapag mag isa ako sa bahay sobrang saya ko. Walang kausap, walang nasita, tska walang nakikita. Personal space is very important lalo na din ung time, pag ikaw lang. time mo lang iisipin mo pag may kasama ka. Pati sila iisipin mo.

Yung timpi mo every single day naiipon hanggang sa yung thoughts mo, perception/decision sa life, mood swings, anger management are also affected kasi feel mo wala kang sariling buhay. As someone who literally have no own room and experienced stress from various circumstances tas yung kasama mo sa bahay you fully know wouldn’t try to understand you kasi may sarili na silang point of view sa buhay mo. I'm only 23, not sure if i am in the right age to say this but i did mature the moment i faced unreal sufferings back to back. Punyeta parang yung pagod ko sa lahat nakapag baho sakin parang ayoko na kaya i do not want unnecessary people and issues.
that's true po. maturity not only comes with age. we tend to mature more with the things we face in life. kaya nga yung iba mas bata pa daw satin pero mas mature na. i think it's bc of the situations they were placed in and forced to adapt to. ganun talaga pag reality eh. :)
