I have the same problem as you and I’ve now had 6 blood transfusions and 2 iron infusions. The lowest my HB has been is 52. Just a few weeks ago I ended up In A and E one week, and then a 2 night stay the following week. I get so tired I can’t even get dressed, it’s so horrible. I am now waiting for a hysterectomy which is scheduled for next month and I get wait to get my life back. At the moment I’m also having weekly blood tests to keep on top of things as well.x

I completely understand the exhaustion you described. I was feeling exactly the same for a good year or so and also thought it was just ‘mum life’. I eventually went to the doctors and was told that my red blood count was dangerously low & my platelets were too high. I’m 85% of the way through the 4 month treatment and already feeling so much better. I’m so glad you went to the doctors and hope you’ll feel better soon! Glad you’re in a better place mentally too. Can’t wait to see you back xxx

Hope you are feeling better... try eating foods that help with anemia don't stress and no need to apologise we all go through these phases in life, keep your head high girl 💜❤💜

I had a iron infusion last year Gem but I have a feeling it was after dieting and not eating the right foods. I too was knackered. I did not intend it but it just happened. I do have Crohns disease and sometimes my food does not feed me as it should. I do hope you feel better soon though. You owe us nothing and please do not apologise. We do not own you. Yes, w elove to see you but we do not own you. You and your little boy come first so please take good care of yourself.

I used to have very heavy periods and they were taking over my life. The doctor recommended to have the mirena coil fitted and it has fixed the problem. Glad to see you back x 😘❤

As stay well as you get older keep an eye on ca125 in bloods and endometriosis etc stay well.. Low iron, hormones and mental health all add up..

Nice to see you are starting to feel better. Have you ever been tested for pernicious anaemia? Look it up and maybe ask your doctor to do a more in-depth blood test.x

Hi Gem! I'm so glad that you are back, you're video made me so happy as always 😊 It's like meeting with a good friend! I'm so sorry you've been feeling poorly! Hope that you recover soon! Health comes first, always, and we are here for you! I've been poorly too, I'm mentally exhausted and I have suffered from long covid, I had to take myriad of tests at the hospital like cardiac ultrasound and angiography to try to figure out what's wrong with me. Hopefully I'll feel better soon! Hugs for you! And those gerbils are just the cutest ❤️

Oh Gem, if you had mentioned how you were feeling physically, I would’ve recognized the symptoms. I know 2 people who had to have Iron Infusions recently too. So glad to hear you’re doing better now. Thanks for sharing.

Aw lovely to see you sorry you've been poorly I've had a rubbish month lost my auntie to stage four lung cancer my bunny Splodge who 8 and a half and I got covid along with mum and dad luckily we're testing.negative and no lasting symptoms now thankfully 💖

Try having spinach smoothies daily. My periods are very light now. Plus i dont have anaemia anymore.
