Am I the only one who constantly expresses to themselves how they don't want kids, but they also think to themselves, "this is what I would do if I was a parent," or, "I want to be this kind of parent," or even, "this is a valuable lesson to teach my future children..." ?

for example, in Southern Asia, Kids who fall down from walking, climbing or anything cause they're not careful, their Parents will be like : "Ha!! That's great! Go Fall down again! I told you dont do it but you did! I wanna see you break your legs!! Go on! run again!" Asians have reverse Psychology apparently 😂

Sylos Fantasy There's nothing wrong with giving someone that compliment, if that's something they desire. I think the problem is more about making that person feel guilty. That's just the way it would be taken as, either to make them feel guilty or change their mind. It doesn't really matter what you meant it is, perception is everything.
I remember telling my mom when I was 12 that I didn't think I wanted to have kids and she thought I would feel differently as I grow older. I'm only 19 now but I still feel the same way. There are enough kids in need of parents on the planet lol
Usually people who don't want kids are frowned upon. I personally love the fact that they exist because the world population is growing at such a high rate that I thank those who don't want kids. Don't let anyone force you psychologically into having kids if you don't feel like it. Not having kids if you don't want them rather than having them because it's a social convention is worth if great admiration and a sign of maturity and responsibility.

Yo same, except I'm 15. Also, I know how bad I was to raise. Also you have to be really involved in your child's schoolwork and stuff and I don't want to go through school all over again. It does take way too much time, energy, and money. And anyways, I'm actually terrified of kids that aren't in a similar age range as me TT. I would much rather spend my time watching anime and playing video games with friends than take care of a kid. Even babysitting sounds horrible to me to be honest. I just want to enjoy my life.
I can add another thing to this video. Children can be so whiny at the most dumbest situations and throw a tantrum at the most silliest things. Like seriously if you have or had a toddler, you know this to be true.
Another thing to add: Kids have an attention span of Dory from Finding Nemo/Dory. Like seriously, you tell them not to do something, twenty seconds later they are doing it again.
To be honest, if you look after them right and disciple them correctly that won't happen. Children throw tantrums if they are spoiled or undisciplined by their parents. Otherwise they're usually well-behaved.
Actually that's not completely true. There are a lot of that will discipline their kids for throwing a tantrum and throwing things. It's just how young they are is the problem. Young kids go through this magical thinking that everything in their world will just magically happen. When you introduce reality they get set off and cry or whine because it's not how it happens according to their world view. So if they are hungry and they want something and you say it will be a minute, chances are they will start crying because they want it now and not in 5 minutes when it's cooked or prepared. Eventually they will learn to listen when they realize that they can't do anything if they are stuck in the corner all the time.
