Why Im Not Worried About The Gear Grind In Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream 

Due to not having played the beta, I will have to wait and see, but yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if the live game has things similar to Fatal Bullet, with probably options opening up or improving over time as they fine tune things. I don't expect it to be perfect, in fact I expect it to be far from perfect and at times frustrating, but I expect that from just about any game that has similar loot mechanics as this one apparently has. But again, I will have to wait for a couple of days to see it in practice and how that works, OTOH, I wouldn't be surprised if you are able to find yourself well geared with mediocre gear if you have the patience for it. Not well enough to be blowing everything away and impressing everyone, but well enough to do solidly. Which will be important to GET the better gear.

I'm excited for Mito in Fractured Daydream. I don't think she's confirmed from what I've seen, but everyone loves a scythe character so they'll pay good attention to her for sure. Plus the weapon shape just sets it up to be flashy from the start.

Man, you using Fatal Bullet as example was good, you made me want to revisit the game (the ending gives a lot of memories back, also I love how dofus but cheerful is the Arfa-Sys personality)... not to mention that eventually complete the other games, get the Alisization Lycoris, Lost Song and Last Recollection as well at some point, when the time comes, you can bet I'll be playing Fractured Dream too (what version between Switch or/and Steam reamins to be seen, as it would be foolish for me to get either Xbox Series or Ps5 versions when I don't have the consoles and don't have plans to get them for now). Edit: That reminds me... your footage was from the PC version? if so, probably we could do some online play on the game at some point as a memory lane (yeah, I have the game on all platforms if you ask me, but in terms of online I can only play it on either PC or Switch). Edit 1.5: I have to admit that Fatal Bullet is also one of the games that become of my favorites since it's day one when I played it on Ps4, to the point that I didn't mind buying it 3 more times for the other platforms, being the Switch version the one that added the option of getting the game+paid DLC in a single pack for the other 3 platforms to make it on par on said Nintendo release... which if you wanted it physical you had to nab the European version).

If people are kinda worried about sao being too much of a grind grow up, that's how to get your money worth from a game, not something you beat in 1 week 😂

Spot on, i'm not worried if they used fatal bullet gearing and build upon it for fractured daydream, as with enough work you can get close to minmaxed build out of most mediocre rolled gear that drops, unlike aquria made games lately that sao alicization lycoris and its sequel, where gear rolls random stats and said low rolls are unredeemable trash that are doomed to be bad, so people are stuck going for highroll/godrolls or its a waste of time trying to upgrade said gear
