I think the reason Jiaoqiu isnt a healer is because if he was, he would break the Acheron team. An E0 Acheron needs 2 nihility units to do the max dps. If Jiaoqiu could heal, he would both play the role of a nihility unit + a sustain. That would mean you need 1 more nihility unit, and a free space which would most likely be a harmony unit (Sparkle, Bronya, Ruan Mei, etc.) I think they just did Jiaoqiu dirty by calling him a healer and made people excited for him.
Yeah I was originally planning to get him to the nerfed him down to the ground he's basically a five-star guenifen now. I'll do a 10 pull for fun for yunli then save for lingsha
He was originally supposed to be a healer but they released he would've been broken, and you know how hoyo is severely biased towards the female characters and didn't want a male to be op, and didn't want acheron to outshine firefly
I think i can summarise the rule of thumb when it comes to pulling for both F2Ps and Light Spenders: - Generally pull for character that you like, whether be personality, kit, animation, etc. - Prioritize 2 limited Sustains, 2 supports, then DPS - If your account can clear (3 stars) on MoC 10, PF 3, or AS 3, then you wouldn't need the featured character the trade off that you would lose on average 1 single or less worth of pull. - Prefarm the materials ONLY when you are guaranteed and not on 50/50. HSR is a resource management and Time is your resource too
Not pulling anyone bc 2.5 looks sick, but I am excited for march, she seems strong and I love the design she’s one of my favorite characters, so I’m content with 2.4
I would skip and save for feixiao and lingsha however I reaaallly need another sustain like asap so huo huo I'm def getting. And sparkle I don't have so I'm def getting her. The other new characters I don't really care about personally.
the fox dude is just dissapointing in my opinion imagine if he had some kind of leaching debuff that when ever a character deals damage they heal a certain amount of health (would actually make him really for mono nihility) also am planning to pull for huohuo as i wanna turn my bailu into a dps bailu for fun (that and she is starting to lack in my acheron team)
I was guessing he wasn't actually going to be a healer beacuase that was the only healing they could reasonably put on him but that would just be nihility gallagher
@@Amos... its kinda the only thing that would have fitted for a nihility healer character and i doubt he would have replaced gallagher in break effect teams like break effect boothill or break effect firefly team but yeah am very dissapointed in what the character can do
@@kyokosakura3192No it wouldn't. Honestly him being a healer would buff her E2. If you pulled him if he had a leeching ability in his kit it'd give you a more versatile comp so you wouldn't have to use an abundance or Preservation character.
I think I’m going to skip, mainly because of Jiaoqiu, at first, I thought he would be amazing for my Acheron team, since he would be a nihility healer, but then he just kept getting nerfed, as well as being changed to be for DOT teams 😔
Yeah its really unfortunate, thankfully though kinda he’s still better in practice than in theory by a pretty fair margin so at least there’s that I guess
I’ve been dying to get jiao qiu since I saw his drip marketing Really sad he’s been nerfed so bad but I still love him because he’s cute, he like spicy food, and he has kazuha en va So im saving it all for him and hopefully one sparkle Also he was originally going to heal but they changed there mind shortly after the post was made
@@MeowVelous_Wyatt lmao, if you want some statistics I think for Acheron at e0 s0 he’s somewhere between 10-15% better than pela, at eo s1 he’s between 15-20, at e1 s1 he’s 20-25, and e2 s1 like 28 bc of the personal dmg if I remember correctly 😊

i wanted to pull for Jiaoqui gonna be honest, but with the many debuffs he got in the beta versions was crazy, so now gonna pull for e0s1 Sparkle maybe for my Dan IL team or for Acheron team bc i need more dmg

4:49 bro they made a point to call him a healer/doctor so many times in the livestream and then he doesn't have healing?? also, him aving Kazuha's VA, they probably didn't want him to be busted like Kazuha xD i might try for him still, but i don't know. if i don't go for him, i'll continue to save for Sunday and Acheron. should have a crap ton of jades by then if he's like Baizhu, show up early but come out much later
Tempted to do the same. I was all in for Jiaoqiu and had been for months as an Acheron main. But he just got nerfed so hard every patch to the point he isn't even on the patch splash art for the patch anymore lol. Such a disappointment. Was also considering getting Sparkles light cone but it's just not a big enough upgrade over past and future to potentially spent 180 pulls on. Especially when I exclusively use her with Dhil.
Jiaoqiu is better in practice than in theory so at least there’s that, if I remember correctly at e0 s0 he’s about 15% better than pela and at e0 s1 he’s 21% better I think
@@AdamNRG316 well he doesn’t have def shreds, he has vulnerability so the enemies take 35% more damage in total so together they will have 35% vulnerability and 40% def shreds
Btw although im skipping yunli, just a reminder that (according to leaked info and livestream) yunli have a higher damage ceiling compared to acheron, that means she could technically achieve the highest damage in the whole game. But apparently it's hard to actually reach that high number as you need to meticulously plan and get good supports. But she is definetly a VERY solid choice for those that doesn't have clara or doesn't have her build (if you do I don't suggest getting and building yunli since clara & yunli only have a less than 25% dps diff). And I would just recommend getting other dps overall since Yunli is a following up attacker and her performance is largely based on the environment (if the enemies are DOT or just attack less she might not be the best option).
also yunli DOESN'T have two versions of her ultimate, her ultimate cost 120 energy and the outer ring of her ult is simply to store overflowing energy since she is EXTREMELY energy positive. so she can store up to 240 energy total but using the ultimate with 240 energy is just going to cost up 120 energy and she will have the rest stored.
apparenlt jiaoqiu used to have a little healing from his talent or smth according to creater servers in china but the company got it away and Im pretty sure also weakened his damage potential and debuff stacking. im getting him due to I have acheron but if he probably stuck to either acheron or dot at this point (he is confirmed to be a debuffer but I'm not sure abt his dot potential he definetly applies burn but idk how good he is at dot)
i feel really bad for jiaoqiu because he have so much potential but mihoyo did him dirty by nerfing him and I feel like he could literally just be shenhe in hsr but even worse since he is only stuck to a single character (might work well with others in the future or if he applies good dot)
I swore to myself when i saw Tingyun's big bushy tail that i would get every Foxian i could. Huohuo's banner will get me her and finally E6 my Yukong so she can finally be the best support for Dan Heng Sicko Mode Plus i need my Jiaoqiu because he reminds me of Hazama from Blazblue
I think making a limited char that exists to buff another limited char with little to no other purposes outside of that to be a terrible idea. I hope they add more synergies or stop doing that, because I'm never going to pull a char I don't like just so I have a need to pull the char I do like. Instead of that, just make good chars that I like and I'll pull them. Thanks.
I am not sure but in first beta of Jiaqiu or whatever he was actually doing heals, but they nerfed him and decided to remove that function from his kit (well at least that's what I read on screenshots from Reddit)
They should have given Jiaoqiu HoTs since he's Nihility. With each Ally's turn they recover a small amount of HP, could have scaled with the amount of dots on enemies or something.
I play a lot of nihility teams so Jiaoqiu is cool, the other girl being "better clara" is interesting too, but not quite as much. I am interested to see the new Xianjou story tho
For me I just not feeling like the new characters are bland and boring ever since penecony, or maybe I'm just upset it took me forever to get Firefly. Anyway now I'm just pulling for fun so I'm going for a double clara team and that sounds fun to me.
It is a shame that the fix dude doesn't have any healing despite liking his VA but I will be pulling on yunli's banner because I don't have any physical DPS units
I will be pulling for Sparkle, i dont have a second Limited Harmony so she will be good , and i also need a second sustain so probably i will go for Lingsha (but if Sunday gets his drip i skip EVERYTHING for him)
Dunno if it counts but I’m pulling for Huohuo because I couldn’t grab her on her debut banner (looking at you, C2 Gepard) and that’s it… and maybe Feixiao but that depends on whether Acheron has a rerun because I need her E2.
Me personally, #1. I like Yunli’s design and I don’t have a Clara like everyone else seemingly does & I’m missing Physical Coverage. #2. Feixiao is a unit I would love to pull design alone but the fact that they teased the 10 Stonehearts and Fate Unlimited Blade Works in the same month?! Yeah I think after Yunli, everyone luofu upcoming after Yunli is a skip for me until a potential fate character collab
i need help on who to pull! im a day 1 player who didnt play for the majority of 1.0. I already have acheron, aventurine and most standard 5* (but no bronya) should i wait for blackswan or pull for another unit (perhaps a support???) thanks ! edit: jiaoqiu is coming home i decided
Supports are more necessary than anything else. But I recommend at least two of the four limited sustains (HuoHuo, Aven, Fu Xuan, and Luocha), if you don't have at least two of these then your going to have a really hard time in endgame modes. Supports such as Robin, Sparkle, Tingyun, Ruan Mei are also going to carry your team to victory. If you pull for another Sustain (since you just have Aven), maybe think about HuoHuo for now especially since you plan to also pull for Black Swan and save maybe for the 2.5 banner

Better skip everyone in this patch. Theyre all at best situational or hard to use for new players. They wont make your game easier or better.Fox is literally just a debuffer and we hape pela for that and shes free unlike him. If you want you can get sparkle,but the rest is an easy skip.
@@alexfernandez9400thats a lie. You can clear content with any 4 star healer up till the moc like 11 or 12 but you wint be able to do it with mediocre dps. Having a really good dps like firefly but with healer like gallagher will get you further than wind dan heng with aventurine
the best aqueron support is still pella, Jiaoqiu is aqueron 3 best support in single target and his 2 best support on aoe. before they change Jiaoqiu to be a dotter he was the second best support. but right now he is underwelming
For me I'm gonna skipping this update for two reasons: 1- I'm saving for e2 s1 Firefly whenever she released 2- and e1 s1 Ruan mei of curse :) I'm currently have 4500 jades and 15 pulls soooo wish me luck
I'm kinda sick of pulling every 5 star. Penacony made waaaay too many good units that it's honestly ridiculous. Pulled Black Swan, Sparkle e1 (random luck), Acheron e2s1, Ruan Mei e0s1, and Jade. Besides Screwllum I'm skipping every 5 star just so I can hoard jades. I like to see more 4 star spot light since Penacony was definitely 5 star heavy, Hunt March is a good start.
He is called a foxian healer because he is feixiao’s healer but like he’s a he’s a healer in the game. Why can’t they also make him an actual healer!? But I’m still getting him because I don’t have a furry on my account yet.
Sounds like skill issue on sparkle banner I’m Jk XD Fox guy is okay to skip since he is nihility but yunli as we know she’s gonna be a better Clara she’s self sustain healing capabilities and a more aggressive ult unit, if you have Clara that’s fine you can skip but Yunli is definitely gonna be hitting for big numbers I can assure you that
I hope I can get Sparkle, since I skipped her for Acheron the first time. I'm sitting on 23 pulls currently and a 50/50 so I hope I can get enough pulls to get to a 5* by the time Sparkle drops
