Why are you giving wrong facts ,bsp is a national party ,,kyunki according to election commission of India, What is the criteria to get national party status? A party recongnized by the Election Commission, that secures at least six percent of the total votes in Lok Sabha election in four or more States, is called National Party. And Win at least 2% of the total Lok Sabha seats in a Lok Sabha General Election and these seats have to be won from at least 4 states. election commission of India or bsp ye Kai baar ye criteria pura kar chuke ,bsp bhale hi up ke alwa kahi or government na banaye hu per kuch seat Jeet thi rheti ,or uska vota percant bhi 7 se 8 percant rheta ha 🙏🙏so please correct this
In my personal opinion, its good thing , because local political parties did politics on language, caste , and ethnicity....and it restricted our mutual growth as a nation
This is good for inclusive development of India. Because if not all then most of the regional political parties do politics in name of cast, language and regions. In southern states DMK, YSRCP, JDS and in Northern States JDU, RJD, SP, BSP, in WB TMC, in Delhi & Punjab AAP etc. are doing politics either in name of region, cast, language or freebies and most of them are family based or dynastic political parties. Which is dangerous for the growth of India and its progress. Jai Hind!

It’s doesn’t matter that which party is ruling over state. It’s does matter that how it is working how that party are doing improving their state conditions and secondly that they party are must be pro nationalist because nowadays many party are exist that they can support even enemies to win the election so it’s very important to analysis that your vote is not going that party
Regional parties are important for indian democratic system as they represent local issues otherwise party who get majority they always want to impose one language, one system on our diverse country.

The regional parties are nothing but has become personal enterprises of few parties... DMK, AIDMK, YSR, RJD, SP, BSP, BJD, SS, NCP, TMC AND AAP They are driven by one leader or their families. It's a good thing..... Regional parties came into existence after 1977

Secondly they have already ammended their constitution which had the tenure of convenor specified for three or four years....now AK will be the convenor for the eternity...... later on his heirs will join politics....you will see this in reality...

All the south indian regional parties are in one way or the other sided either with BJP or congress since forever. And thing is we are still discussing about them. Its a little surprising we are even discussing this. Tamil and united andhra pradesh elections are the best case studies how the people will sway the votes within a term. In few local elections in telangana BRS almost lost to BJP but then again BJP was pushed back aggressively by BRS and they are strong as ever. Congress which gave separate telangana cant even call itself main opposition in telangana..

But at what cost, two party system like USA keeps things simple and makes politics manageable and easy to understand. If every state has 10 regional parties, it just becomes a mess. How can anyone follow politics unless he is unemployed.

When there is a Strong National Party having AN INDIA Influence, No scoe for this regional parties, which are family parties or parties exclusively depending single leader. Regional and Family parties should be finished.
