Major problem is inefficiency of govt PSUs like always there is need of private participation govt must encourage private companies through various schemes so that they grab some share of defense market like in US and other western countries. Because our PSUs and their inefficient employees do nothing rather than eating taxpayers money there is no RnD , they never complete any projects in time. Either bring corporate discipline in PSUs or hand over projects to private companies and give funding to PSUs for RnD purposes only.

We need atleast 30 submarines. Sindhughosh class will retire soon. We need to do an alliance with AUKUS as well as France for submarines. Also we need to look for Asian partners like Japan or S Korea. We need a Seawolf class submarine.

Indian private companies are not Boeing or Lockheed Martin,,,. Indian private companies neither have the capabilities nor the experience to manufacture high tech defense stuff. Neither do they pay thier employees nor spent sufficient funds on R&D

IMO Nuclear powered Submarines and Aircraft Carriers are nothing more than display of power. They are significantly expensive to build and maintain compared to conventional subs and carriers. Nuclear submarines can only stay underwater as long as the supplies for the crew lasts then have to surface for refilling giving away it's location, same goes for the Nuclear carriers, no carrier sails alone, it always travels in a group with other ships and defenses and those ships and the aircraft onboard runs on conventional fuel.

Nuclear submarines do not need special arrangements for refueling and can take in supplies for crew quickly and go back to job. Refuelling conventional submarines is a vulnerable task at war times and the stationary and easily visible submarine can be hit with missiles. Diesel subs are more stealthy but they can operate only for some hours.

hamen aise rashtrabhakton ko dhundna chahiye jo rashtra seva ke liye 24 ghante bina khaye , piye , soye , bina thake defence forces / DRDO me kaam kare . Na chhutti mange , na salary , na bonus , na pension , aur jindagi me na kabhi bimar pade . Aur na hi apne aap ko gulam mane. Jo log is field me Salary kam karne ki pension band karne ki baat kar rahe hai unhi ko pehle pakdo . Ye gyani log rashtrabhakt to pehle se hai hi . isliye salary nahi lenge 24 ghanta kaam kar lenge aur inhe bonus ya pension dene ki bhi jaroorat nahi rahegi. Pahle inhi ko pakdo aur kaam par lagao dekho agle 2 saali me Bharat 30 saal ka kaam kar lega. 😊😊😊
