Paji bht valid point hy apka, specially individual games mein govt ko support krna chahey kiun k individual level pe log bht talented hen, team games thori expenaive hoti hy lakin games like boxing, runing, squash, tennis etc. Just recently one Pakistani guy broke asia record of javeline throw and he was randomly picked up while he was working as a labour in construction of a building, he was throwing the bricks from ground to 2nd floor the whole day and some guy who knew this support picked him up groomed him and now hes a millionare and he made a name for Pakistan as a first asian to cross 90 meter. There r so many sports in which govt can put a little money and make a name for the country at international level. India and Pakistan r such high populated countries with lots of talent but if v r not achieving anything at international level in sports it means the effort is lacking. Sports present the soft image of a country, countries which r very small in size and economically not so strong win more gold medals in Olympics compared to our both countries. V shoild b grabing 10 times more medals in olympics consodering our size of pupolation and amount of raw talent.

You are extremely right. Hockey is a national game of Pakistan and Football is a wonderful game loved around the world but this cricket has been created a hype. Politicians do horse riding in it, in Pakistan and India both. It is a business. And not a sport. It is really sad. We should support national games and games played in Olympics. Mein ne kabi cricket ko serius nei kia. Its just a came, we should be competing to be better then each other, something more meaningful and productive, but cricket... No way. Either team win or lose.
Sri Lanka won India but unlike when lndia lost against Pakistan, Sri Lanka's intelligence agency and an Indian cricketer from a minority background were not blamed and the reason being Pakistan is an enemy and losing to them can not be tolerated by Indian media so nonsense is spewed by Indian media when things don't go their way and this does not help especialy in sports as every good sportsman/woman appreciates his/her losses just as much as his/her victories as that's what makes them improve and perform on a top level but when you try to blame the opposing team for your loss or a minority player from your team then you make your whole team look bad to the world, like sour losers and stop them from exploring the real reasons on why they lost so they can correct themselves and improve.
