The Indian Government, led by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways, has ambitious plans for the country’s road infrastructure. The goal is to develop India’s road infrastructure on par with that of the US by the end of 2024. With a special emphasis on states like Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Kashmir, the government has robust future plans for the Bharat Mala project and green express highways . I keep saying this, China is way way way ahead of India. Our government was sleeping when China was making policies and reforms in 1970s and 1980s. I'm happy that now we have a government that actually focuses on long term development. China invested heavily in their infrastructure and initiatives like make in china. The amount of good Infra that the current Indian government (BJP) has built like highways, expressways , bridges, airports, etc. in the past few years is absolutely commendable. India has been improving in indices like logistics, manufacturing, ease of doing business and many others. We've got development oriented ministers like S Jaishankar, Nitin Gadkari, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who are laying a stone for a better future. Safe to say my vote will always go to BJP.

I wholeheartedly agree with all your points and I also have been thinking along the same line. However I do not live in India, so I cannot vote. But I try to highlight the importance of progressive government like that of BJP so that the pace of development continues. Next election in 2024 is crucial, as BJP win may put India on auto pilot on the assumption that in the next 6 years there will be enough progressive voters like you to defeat the divisive forces.

I have driven on almost all expressways of India. I can say if we can strongly implement lane driving and lift upper speed limit to 150kmph, Delhi Mumbai expressway is built good enough for that. We can reach from delhi to mumbai in about 9 hours. Time to have our own autobahns with no speed limits.

150 is too risky for indians who dont follow any rules for driving...first and foremost problem in highways we have no matter if it is access controlled also is that the LOADING vehicles will spread out and use all the lanes no matter if it is 4 lanes on one side then they will be on all the lanes so imagine u cruising at 150 and every few metres you need to change the lane to pass those loading vehicles...
