We have no international borders in Ladakh. It is LOC on Pakistan side and LOAC on China side. As for hiking and biking, troubles have their own pleasures. I travelled on foot from Beigdango (Bagdandu as we called it then and near Turtuk) to Leh in October, 1965 after ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
Yaar after watching the video itna pata chal gaya ki aapka travel bohot hi mushkilon se bhara hua tha but it was worth it!!! Bas aapka dono ka travel safe rahe isse jyada kuch nahi and what a beautiful place!!! Aur aapka humour bhi ekdum spot on!! Also, Ladakh ke log kitne kind hai aur waha cleanliness ko kitna importance dete hai... Hope rest of the India follows that too. Tourists logo ko bhi iss baat ka dhyan rakhna chahiye ki jaha bhi jaye try not to go around littering the place✌️akhirkar humari ye choti effort bohot kuch kar sakti hai😊 Lastly, dii and bhaiya have a safe journey for the adventures ahead ✌️🤗

Absolutely Amazing.. We went till OP BABA Shrine and back. I was amazed by the beauty of Valley. Ma Sha Allah Loved Riding along Nubra River. People there are very warm and kind hearted. Amazing Hospitality through my Ladakh Ride.
Bhai, Thang 8-10 km dur hai ... Turtuk se ... Aur wahan stay nhi kar sakte... Jaane se pahle army check post hai, wahan apna original ID proof deposit kar k jana hota hai... Only Indian allowed. I have already visited all the places 2 years back.
Bhai ap 2 saal plhay thay may last 2 months plhay gaya tha waha no need to give id proof aul raha sawal rehna ka mayne bola tha bas vist karne kya liye
Hi there .. NIce to see you on bike. I just visited the Pakistan side of the border a few days ago; the last village from the Indian side is Thang I believe it's after Turtuk, but not sure, and on the Pakistan side, it is Frano. These few villages 3-4 were taken by India during 1971 war. I try to avoid any political point scoring, let us all just enjoy the beauty of these places and the hospitality of the people.

Baltistan is not part of Kashmir now. It is a separate territory alongside Gilgit both combined to form Gilgit-Baltistan after the 2009 self governance order by the Govt. Of Pakistan. Formerly, the region was named as Northern Areas.

Happy to see development. I have spent about 1.5 years at Turtok during 1993-94. I was commander of the artillery battery just below the village. Had many friends. My wife also spent a month there.
