Youth development took times 20 years above, so in the sort terms they use heritage player. But in the long term when infrastructure and league industri get better I belive they will use local player. Because local players quality nowdays is too low, they just can play longball😅

Actually Indonesia wants to fix the league system, fix youth training and scout, and naturalization in parallel. For Indonesian Naturalization there are three ways to naturalize these players First it is called Ordinary Naturalization, means they must stay 5 years uninterrupted in Indonesia I become an Indonesia citizen, an example of this is Marc Klok Second is the so-called Special Naturalization or Fast Track Naturalization. Your concern is valid. However, if they use naturalized players only for a couple of years until their national leagues get more attention then it could be fantastic for the development.
