In a typical syndication, you choose the project that you want to invest in. In a fund, you give the money to the sponsor upfront and they choose how to deploy that capital. You have an opportunity to vet and choose the project in a regular syndication.
Love multi family properties that have common parts. Ie hack buildings suck to maintain and you’re better off getting a commercial loan for larger property. Just saying but don’t over pay
