Excellent video with clear and concise details. My takeaway is since we were purposefully divided we have to be deliberate with our coming back together.

I highly recommended that we all do workshops such as Emotional Emancipation Circles and read a book called "Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome". There's also a great book called " A black girl's guide to emotional healing devotional" that is an incredible healing resource. Once we heal our wounds, we would be unstoppable ❤

First of all. I do appreciate the fact that African Diasporans have taken a keen interest in the affairs of Africa. And I am very impressed as a young African for such development. Keep it up brothers.

They are doing what they've been taught to do. Unfortunately, this is our job, and they are doing all our jobs for us becos, we are never taught how to question anything, find out about anything, RESEARCH on anything, care about our own countries, let alone, about our whole continent. No sense of curiosity about anything, this has caused our lack of critical thinking 🤔 to learn anything that will benefit our futures and our children's futures. Thanks to our brothers and sisters showing interest and curiosity about everything Africa, and their ancestors home, hopefully, we are not just watching, but learning what we should all already have known. Thanks Tim.

@@sos9020 talking of that, It is only when I went to the university that was the only time I became self aware as an African. And began to appreciate our history and the struggles of our ancestors. I hope our younger generation get to learn much earlier.

@@sos9020 Well said! We do have a sense of curiosity alright, we just do not have the healthy type. Gossip, how to undermine and sell out our own type of curiosity, etc., is all we do. No wonder the sl@ve trade and subsequent colonization was very successful in our part of the world. I believe strongly that our ancestors 'enabled' the outsiders, we are probably just too ashamed to admit that.

I like the conclusion that champions even "micro societies". This is crucial and significant because, to look at the complexity of the African challenge as a whole might cause those wanting to make a difference to view it as too great a challenge to small groups to tackle but this is exactly what the approach needs to be. Micro groups united by a common goal deliberate in its mission and driven by the commonality of the vision and not be distracted by percieved differences in opinions and beliefs can be the spark for growth in the group itself and as a catalyst and template of success for offshoot groups united by the same vision. What we must not do is fall for the age old trickery of division which has plaqued us then and plagues us to this day.

We must first unite and become advocates for each other (all Africans) and for africa, even for those of the lowest state. That will take discipline, commitment, honesty, and hard work to achieve. History teaches us that we only have one true advocate, ourselves not Europeans. Their greatest concerns are for the benefit, convenience, and pleasure of Europeans (and protection). The same is true for Asians and Arabs. They are intentional. They have also been their own best advocates--especially Europeans--even at our expense and inconvenience.

A very thorough and on the point analysis Tim, thank you for your immense contribution towards the emancipation and enlargement of our group consciousness as a people. There are so many things I would love to change about our continent if the Most High YAH requested me and grant request. Things such as one Spiritual Afrika 100 % decolonised. People being free in the Almighty presence of YAH and being safe and secured from outside trouble, the list goes on and on. But because I cannot change that, I can only change myself to perceive differently, that now becomes my awareness and awakening to who I am as an Afrikan and my special connection to the motherland. We are the first and chosen ones from way before and the prophecies in scripture will be fulfilled when the continent finally awakens. It is only a matter of when and not if. Asante sana ndugu, Mungu akubariki sana.

What is your ethnic nation? Do your culture gatekeeprs, custodians and spiritual leaders all claim to be Hebrew? Is that claim restated during festival time? If so then yours is the nation to call it fellow Israelites home. Other ethnic nations do not make a similar claim. They are who they have always claimed to be. Some of them will tell you straight that they have link to those who built the Sphinx.

Reconnecting with the diasporans is so important but will the home grown Africans allow it.? Look at what is happening in Asebu . Some local hooligans have risen up against what the chiefs in the area are trying to do. These hooligans are everywhere in Ghana. They see people buying lands but they wait till the development has start to a point then they attack. . Nana of Asebu in Ghana should have known these elements were in his community. It is disgraceful.

It's a question of who started exploration first. Britain initially had no intention of setting up colonies and in the 1820s, its parliament voted to pull out of all colonies in West Africa except Sierra Leone. However, once it saw France moving to expand, its competitive spirit kicked in to compete and sign treaties with local chiefs to gain "spheres of influence" wherever the French were. Hence why you have a lot of Anglophone countries surrounded by Francophone countries

Hi Tim, I'm pleasantly shocked at how you nailed it on the head with regard to moving forward. Of course, you had first diagnosed the ailment correctly in order to proffer solutions. So, here's the pragmatic recourse to your prognosis; Identity and Relationship with Jehovah Jahra are synonymous so we need to, individually, awaken our Spirit to navigate our Soul-Essence directly to Jesu, without being in any organized religion or christian congregations with the exception of the Sabbath Day Adventist who worship on the Sabbath. Part of my Purposeful Life shall include bridging the discourse between AAs/Diaspora Africans and the motherland. We can only do that by first, being oblivious to the Machiavellian antics and satanic spell of the Enemy, by becoming One With Jesu, Our Lord and Savior. Yes, the enemy does not carry out any plans against the Aboriginals of The Earth, The children of The Most High Almighty Jehovah Jahra, without checking in the Spiritual dimensions. Seek ye first The kingdom of Jehovah Jahra and everything else shall be attended onto... I've set aside $300m to superintend the journey, To The Glory Of The Most High.

The continent has never been not will it ever be a unitary state. It is 54 sovereign countries and hundreds of ethnic nation s. We cannot be talking about Berlin when the boundaries were affirmed by Afrikan countries themselves at OAU Addis and Cairo. Today, some countries may choose to cede their nationhood and sovereignty to merge into a new entity. See EAC to EAzf. Others are headed in the opposite direction, with further balkanization or secession from within. See Naija or Cameroon for national example. Or ECOWAS with its current impasse with the Francophone breakaway countries, for regional example. Ultimately, it will be up to the respective populations themselves to determine how they choose to move forward. All 54 of them, via 54referendums. Their decisions will be respected.

Because of the cultural differences that comes from the hatred between the tribes. Too much hatred and xenofibia. It's absolutely preposterous that everything bad that Colonisation is blamed for everything that is bad in Africa. When will you stop with this lausy excuse? Africa will never be united. The civil war and division of Sudan is their fault. The xenofibia against other Africans in South Africa is on them. The racism against the white farmers in Zimbabwe has nothing to do with the colonisation. Colonists didn't find a peaceful Africa, but one in chaos and blood. Tribes slaughter other tribes on daily basis. That's their legacy and it reflects in nowadays political landscape. I hope one day Africa will be truly free, but with no help at all from the west, so we can all see what will happen.

You are in Africa because of the high exchange rate enabling you to live a good life on very little money by American standards ! What is your contribution ? My parents and grandparents generations who went to study in England and the US starting from the 1940s left their the opportunities and came back to Africa to help to continue the development that the British left ( yes the British did develope West Africa)They were doctors , Engineers .Lawyers , educators, nurses, pharmacists etc. They came back with their world class educations . The development of Africa was high jacked by mismanagement and corruption !! Are you aware that the remittances by Nigerians living in the West is about 20 BILLION DOLLARS/YEAR .This amount represents 6% of Nigerian GDP and is a very important addition to the Nigerian economy !

These tribes were fighting with each other way before the Colonizers came !! Nigeria alone has more than 200 different tribes ! The colonizers of Africa did not replace our languages like the Spanish did in South America where most cannot speak their native language and speak Spanish only! We in Africa speak our languages .You African Americans when you meet Africans in America are unfriendly and envious , but in Africa we are now your brothers!!
