The large orange colored eggs should be salmon eggs, you can get them at your local sushi restaurant for cheap $5 per serving.

Never had Beluga caviar but if I'm ever lucky enough to be offered a taste I would happily accept. My favorites are the much more affordable capellin roe and salmon roe. Mackerel and sardine roes are also very tasty and way easier to come by. We also eat cod roe on toast in Europe. They are just eggs!

I’m from the hood but still I eat good, but I’ve never tried caviare lol. I always wanted to try it. Now seeing how they treat the mommy fish to get the eggs out is disturbing. Keep your delicacy fish, I think it’s more of a cruel dish. 😔

Somehow I feel like I wouldn’t like these expensive little dragon balls.

I work for a Caviar company here in New York. And I have tried all the caviars that are available. The best way to taste caviar is to have it with creme fraiche topped on a blini! And yes the vodka and dry champagne both helps to cleanse your palate. Also Kaluga is the best of the best and the most expensive caviar out there. If anyone wants to try caviar for the first time, I would recommend the hackleback which is more on the cheaper side and the osetra which is more on the higher end.

Now this makes me crave in the quarantine again!

Hello @Alux.com thanks for all the great videos, I normally don't comment much but regarding this video I have to say, the 'Orange Balls' in the sushi = 寿司 are called IKURA = イクラ or Red Caviar. They are from Salmon. I hope this helps. (I lived in Japan for over 6 years now).

I buy Chinese plastic caviar at my local dollar store at 1/10 of the cost. It's got the flavor and they just pass right through.

I love caviar, but most people that I know either don't like it, either never had it

Red Caviar is a common delicacy in Slavic circles . I didn’t realize it was such a rarity . I remember eating caviar that my mom packed me for lunch in elementary school and the other students were like “ ew he’s eating fish eggs “ . They’re divine with some dark rye bread that’s all I know .

Yes I have tasted Beluga caviar,but to be honest I didn’t like it. The flavour was very strong and salty...I guess it’s one of those acquired tastes.

Tried caviar with sushi and...tasted a bit of awkward that my head spinning around, not to taste this again... for now.

I've had caviar and it's like the best thing I've had but someone told me it came from murdering pregnant fish and I felt so guilty

um i tried the green caviar its good with vinegar here actually but i didnt like it when i was young now i just knew that its expensive from other countries but i assume its not that expensive here in our country¿¿ anyway im gonna buy to find out the price

Alux I love your work but was horrified to see those red eggs classified as Caviar. They are Salmon roe or Trout roe and they are disgusting. That is not Caviar! REAL Caviar only comes from the Caspian sea from the Beluga, Sevruga and Oscietre Sturgeon and are either Iranian or Russian. Farmed caviar is not real Caviar either although its just about acceptable due to restrictions in the Caspian sea. I was really impressed that you mentioned Almas Caviar! But please remove that red salmon roe its unprofessional.
