Hello everyone. Join me in reading Why is Deku so Good with Kids? by Sabertoothhousecat on A03. I love this fic and the way it dives into the bond between Izuku and Eri. Please note that throughout this fic they will touch on past trauma and their triggers. I will add trigger warnings for each chapter but this first one really doesn't have any outside of brief discussion of Eri's past (very minimal detail).
I appreciate any suggestions you all give on other fics to read so please comment any you'd like to hear!

I think the problem Aizawa is having here is not just that Eri is younger that the students he teaches. The problem is that he doesn't know how to identify and handle kids or even teenagers with abnormal childhoods. UA is a high-quality school with an entrance exam that favores flashy and strong quirks. The students he teaches were most likely just as favored throughout their childhood, raised in a safe, loved environment and didn't face a lot of discrimination or abuse of any kind. Not that it doesn't happen or that being part of 'the gifted' doesn't have it's own problems, but the bias itself already blinds. Aizawa probably never learned to see the signs, so he thinks that Shouto's emotional ineptness is normal, part of his personality, and he will learn to grow out of it. He thinks Eri will grow trust on her own because she's safe now and that's how normal development usually works. Thanks for coming to my ted talk. I'm done now. Have a nice day!

but aizawa also a hero so he must have been seen abused victim in his hero time , I think this is most likely aizawa doesnt think these good , strong quirked could ever be abused , be a victim of bullying so he just doesnt fallow the red flags his students have . I think 3 years of begin hero-in-training along side with 15 years of hero work would teach him about abuse victim as he probably seen his fair share of people been trough that kind of stuff

Fr, your voice is amazing I find it soothing to the point I fall asleep at night listening to your videos. It’s not always at night though. Your voice for some reason makes my anxiety go away and I become clam and just fall asleep. Please keep up with the good work, but not to the point of exhaustion.

First, since this is part 2 of a 4 part series by SabreToothHouseCat (Deku and Eri are Cute!), will you be doing the other 3 stories? and Second, a fic recommendation about Eri and Class A cracky fluff which is extremely good: "How Class 1-A turned Eri into a Demon" by Captain_Moose. Part 1 is when Class A is at UA, and part 2 is years later when Eri is a teenager and at UA herself.
