Ever after high was such a beautiful doll line and cartoon! The whole concept of a school for the children of fairytale families is so cool.I found out that EAH has similar designs to descendants , but descendants was such a flop.I know the possibility of EAH coming back is very slim but I hope they make a comeback or a reboot☹️

As someone who wasn’t really allowed to have dolls like Bratz or MH as a kid, Ever After High was always my go to! Besides prices going up, I wish that they’d at least get the same recognition that Bratz and MH merchandise have been getting recently

I personally dont mind how underrated ever after high is and my biggest fear is that locals discover this doll line and just buy them for nostalgia. I'm trying to collect all of the first chapter versions of each character and prices are definitely going up and because a lot of lines were not released in my country the only place I can get them is ebay (rip). I'm sad that it was discontinued but also I'm glad that they pretty much finished the main story before it happened. Epic Winter is just a filler arc for me lmao

I love ever after high not as much as monster high but I do feel like the eah reboot ( rebranding )was better then the mh g2 reboot since in eah they didn’t change the characters or the story only the dolls contrary to mh

I gotta say I love customising ever after high dolls so much. As for the colours of the skin is kinda because most of the fairytales the characters are based on European fairy tales where most people are white. Maybe we should start giving spotlights to other cultures fairytales so young children can learn about other cultures stories without washing other cultures stories.

What’s happening right now with mh is so disheartening and I hope the same doesn’t happen with these. The fact it is nearly impossible to get (without paying a scalper) the newly released alum dolls makes collecting almost not even fun anymore. I’ve heard confirmation that people with certain bots can buy as many dolls at once, as long as they have the money, regardless if Mattel has placed a doll purchase limit. The amount of scalped Lagoona Haunt couture dolls online rn is crazy!!!

Thank you so much for making this video! You're completely right, ever after high is so underrated. Like, not only were the dolls immaculate, but the story was just so powerful and deep. The whole franchise had a great message of writing your own destiny, and it was executed in a great way! It's like you said with the story never being in black and white, giving us room for interpretation and understanding both sides of the story. Which is why I really liked the first two specials of the show, the legacy day thing.. it showed the same story from both sides and I just loved it. And don't even get me started on the whole briar shit, that character arc was just so good. It really showed how she went from wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps to wanting to make her own path, and it was so nice to see that this was because she didn't wanna lose all her friends and loved ones. It's just, the writing was so good, and honestly on an advanced level for a kid's show. And while I would love for ever after high to come back, I highly doubt it will happen cuz obviously, the disney license ruined it all. 😭 But if mattel somehow manages to bring it back, I wonder how they will execute the revival/reboot. And completely agree that if they do the same thing as monster high with both g1 and g3 dolls, that if they have a g3 (or g2, did ever after high ever have a first reboot, or was it just a soft rebranding lol) for ever after high, that they make the dolls for the alumni line actually readily available for fans, and possibly not discontinue them after one month of releasing them, ahem ahem. 😒 But honestly, I feel like a revival makes more sense for ever after high specifically, mostly cuz they already had a whole storyline constructed, and I just feel like they could continue it maybe? (and the reason I'm not saying the same about MH is cuz while they kinda did have a universe and connecting plots between different movies and webisodes, I feel like it was more of a slice-of-life adventure kinda thing, if that makes sense) Also, I guess a reboot also wouldn't be too bad considering most of the original storyline has been explored, so a new one might not be too bad. I just don't want the characters and story to be watered down. But again, now that they got the disney license back, we probs will never see EAH back in production ever again, considering disney used to make up the most revenue for mattel, even when they had shit quality, and is part of the reason why the older MH and EAH dolls had higher quality than dolls from the 2015 to 2016 era. So I don't think mattel is gonna risk that again, since I'm pretty sure that they will probably use a portion of the money from their disney revenue to improve quality on G3 as time goes on. (I think.. I hope 😅) But that's it! Again, thank you so much for this video, cuz I haven't seen many actually discuss this topic, and it's really interesting to see how MH and EAH were so similar, yet have aged very differently. 🤗

I love ever after high, I started to collect the dolls a couple of years ago and I just adore the quality of the dolls and the story, like I started my collection with monster high but the moment I discovered ever after high my life changed

I love both MH and EAH so much but if I were to chose which to start collecting it would definitely be EAH not only for nostalgia purpose’s but because I think the dolls are just so well designed and elegant

But I bot one of the six pack Frankie from 2016, no belt but close enough. I have Venus Twyla music festival abbey and an out of box Lizzie. I also have Cupid and Blondie in box

Ever After High truly does deserve more love and it’s story was really good but I agree on being afraid if it’s popular enough the resell values will spike, I was never fond of EAH as a kid but now it’s something I am interested in and I want to get some dolls from it and they have been very well priced despite 200$ for a basic Cerise being out of my range it’s more fair than some MH doll resells I’ve seen.

I literally just bought an in box raven off ebay cause nostalgia brings me to spend all my money :') But I totally agree it's actually so sad how overlooked it was compared to monster high and other lines because all of them were legit so pretty

Seems like more people are buying out ever after dolls on eBay lately seeing they are getting pricier... I've been noticing Raven and Dexter Date Night in particular are VERY popular couple dolls lately. All the other couples are easy to find, but not them. The moment someone is selling them, they get sold immediately, opened or unopened. I've been really wanting Dexter and Raven Date Night myself and its been a challenge. I like Date Night episode aswell :)

Im a poc myself and tbh EAH’s lack of diversity is what turned me off, i remeber even harrinna hook pointed out how it had even less racial diversity then descendteds and cant lie i agree with her Tho i am still considering starting to buy them as i really adore some of the character’s designs like cesire and briar(briar is the only one who looked closest to me too-lowky hc her as latina cus of that)

As a person who was a child when monster high and ever after high came out I remember seeing the EAH dolls in stores and just straight up thinking they were ugly. I guess it was the round heads and face that put me off compered to the shapes of MH heads. But I did watch both the MH and EAH webisodes and enjoyed both. Idk thats just the reason why I never asked for them 😅

I love eah because of the fairy tales. I wish they would bring them back. The one issue I do have is that there is so little representation with eah. I resonated with raven queen cedar wood and cerise hood but never anybody else because they never looked like me.

When EAH 1st came out I kind of spent more money getting the EAH dolls more then the MH ones all those years ago so not having as much Gen1 MH dolls kind of makes me sad that I did not get more of them back then

The dolls are accessible and not expensive? Not in my country. Some of the EAH lines weren't even released in Europe.

the problem with mattel is the fact that if they want to cancell a doll line they just reboot it and leave it alone they should just do a crossover instead of rebooting and leaving alone

The movie The School For Good And Evil is actually based off of a book series :) I have read the first book and i own the second, but I haven't seen the movie yet. However, I do agree that the story is a lot like Ever After High

I still have not found the monster high blue original dolls and I live in Worcester and the new monster high G3 dolls I don't know when they're coming to Worcester or anywhere really some dolls take a while to appear in places I really want to get the monster high version of dolls and a G3 dolls

But monster high haunt couture most people did get these dolls I didn't get them because obviously they're way too expensive most people did get them I kind of wish they were selling for $40 and they were appearing in stores for everybody to get one or two of the monster high hulk couture I love clawdeen draculaura Frankie lagoon and Cleo
