Yeah but still at that point the bezels are horrific. And remember first experience is the last experience. So no matter how it'll work it will still feel like a budget phone.
I can buy a pixel only when 1. Battery last two days 2. No heating/network issues 3. Internet Video call possible with the regular network (without internet without WhatsApp)

I prefer TWS for their premium design over neckbands and comfort over wired earphones, but I know for a fact their mic quality sucks & I happen to work in a very noisy environment...
if u want a cheap wired set with good mics get the apple earpods with USB c and if u want inexpensive wireless buds with a good mic get the pixel buds a or apple airpods.

pixel 4a was a good device no heating issue , good snapdragon processor, nice battery. But the current pixel have lot of issues and i am not so sure about using them as long term device unless you plan on using it for small daily tasks like calling, social media and occasional photography.

No youtuber that are paid by google will risk to criticize google phones, why would they? Imagine living in a country that reach 50° C daily but recommending a phone that is sensitive to heat and cost 10 times the average salary, because it's too risky otherwise for your job.
The tensor powered Pixels always have been plagued with heating issue, eapecially under Indian weather condtions! The Pixel 6a that I have been using for 2.5 years gets hot while watching RU-vid videos! 🤦
8a price will definitely drop to 35k to 40k in upcoming months but so do the prices of pixel 8. It's always better to buy 8 instead of 8a just look at the bezels
after going through the review , i feel iphone 13mini is far better buy than this one. I get more that 4 hrs screen time with my 13mini after almost 3 years of use and 87% battery status.
Complaints about poor battery life and signal reception as well as very slow speeds for updates seem to be the the issues i keep seeing listed for the 8a...the slow charging is a "feature" for all pixels .
Dear Google, What we meant by evenly sized bezels is reducing the bottom bezel w.r.t the side and top bezels, not the other way around! For one of the world's smartest companies you people do make some really dumb choices...
most people buy phones on contract so that point is invalid. The pixel 8a is much cheaper than the 8 on contract. You can say the OnePlus 12r is a better deal but when it gets that green line down the screen and u need help see what happens when you need help from OnePlus
With a lot of heating issues and warm climate in India, Google really need to work on making pixel phones which are usable. They are providing great features but what's the point if you can't use them properly in day to day life.
also I'll add that speakers are supposed to produce treble that's the entire point of a speaker is to increase the volume. You may other phones are brighter but this one hits 1500 nuts in auto with a lighter meater. That's one of the brightest smartphone screens out so no idea what you are talking about.

Google is in trouble. Apart from firing many staff over the years, and the massive decline in ad revenue, for them to make an 8a at this high price with those low specs and disgusting video at night, something is seriously wrong.
get the s23, its just a much better device and its selling for cheaper, u get the same form factor, theres ai featuers, the performance is much better, triple camera system, the screen is much more pleasant to look at and uses a more durable display, theres no call quality and heating issues a
No to this phone. Unless pixel brings better SoC and 3x lense. No more compromises. Moto edge 50 pro is better value for money with sunder issues in video recording.

Please dont. Not unless you live somewhere in northern india, where ambient temperatures are low for most of the year. SOC and Modem is very bad. It heats like hell
Being a Pixel user for long (Pixel 2 to 7a) , I would suggest please don't buy this phone now... 1. The phone stops using flash or long videos saying it is hot. I mean even on normal day it gets hot just after few photos 2. controversial opinion but being user of Pixel since 8 years.... I would say that camera advantage is no more there. It was there when Pixel 2 was there but over the years the camera performance is average and really don't understand why reviewers continue to go ga ga over it. 3. The bezels are ugly 4. The sound quality and screen quality is not good - you will never enjoy watching movie or listening songs on Pixel. Period. 5. Finally, god forbid.... something goes wrong... even minor thing.....The after sales service is non existent.... anything goes bad...they will com and collect you phone...don't offer u a phone in return....and then will take 10-20 days to correct it and that too at ludicrous price FINALLY, PRICE IS INSANE and not worth it.

Google needs to increase the size of A series upto 6.5-6.7 inch, increase battery to min.5000mah & adopt Snapdragon 7 series processors. (Even Samsung is using SD processor in mid rangers). Increasing the size can also help in heat dissipation. Indian market doesn't want smaller sized phones.
I've held both the Pixel 8 and 8a and if I was buying one it would be the 8a. The 8 might be made of more premium materials but the 8a feels more premium. Plus matte back just looks better. And I don't care about bezels, because that's a silly obsession 🤷♂️

No we don't all know that! I had a Pixel 4XL that I ended up passing on to a coworker who kept it until a couple months ago. So almost 5 years in case your math isn't any good
