Why Is Everything Suddenly Taylor Swift’s Fault? 

What put Taylor on the map FOR ME was her Midnights album... I hadn't listened to an entire album by ANYONE since literally Britney Spears and for SOME random reason I heard about the album and decided to listen to it one day while I was at work and I was FLOORED by every single song... then the 3AM tracks and you're losing me, et . I have just been following everything ever since and every day I learned something new about her or fell in love with another song from an older album THEN the Eras Tour movie I watched with my 5 year old and THE SWIFTIES IN THAT THEATER blew my MIND with how nice they were and they included my daughter the entire movie in their mini concert it was the coolest thing to me as a mom. I actually have a few shit videos on my channel if you want to see that but those kids set it in stone for me... I never knew anything about her fandom before and the Swifties (me now included) are the best people on Earth (I'm convinced 😂)

i literally don’t understand why people we’re getting so mad about the swiftiebowl….. the total time she was on camera was under a minute and people still had the audacity to complain 💀💀. i don’t see anyone complaining about that one podcast host she’s dating named travis when he was on the camera more than usher. istg peeps just make jealousy into resentment

becoming a taylor swift fan over the past year has really opened my eyes to the forced hate towards women in the entertainment industry. if im being honest i was a little annoyed with taylor swift when she announced midnights, i didnt know why i felt this way back then, and when taylor started doing her tour i slowly became a fan. and now i realized i was just mad for no reason.

i agree! i’m not even a taylor fan, but she’s been hated on for so much it’s crazy. i do think that she shouldn’t be using her jet that much, but there’s so many other artists and celebrities that use their jets to that degree. and i also do think that their were other good nominees, and that i’m not the biggest fan of midnights, but you can’t deny that there are a lot of hits on the album, and everytime i’m on the radio i hear her music. love these videos so much, sorry for the long paragraph

i became a fan in july after speak now taylors version, i do not consider myself a swiftie tho. but before, I was just a casual listener of taylor's music. i'd hear it on the radio and enjoy it. but actually being a part of the fan community (especially tiktok) i noticed how much hate she gets, and i really do not get it. like she's such a great person and seems really nice. i get if it isnt someones music taste, but the amount of random HATE is absurd

That article that you referred to had concluded that during the regular season and the playoffs, Taylor was shown for a total of less than 30 seconds for the entire length of each game. For the Super Bowl (which lasted around 4 hours) Taylor was shown 12 times for a total of 54 seconds. The haters act as if Taylor was being shown half of the game. Ridiculous. Taylor had no control over the cameras that showed her at games. Taylor is at a better place mentally now so I don't think that the negativity will make her want to go away this time. I think that now she realizes the most of her fans are loyal and love her. A lot of us took the "Long Live" promise to stand by her forever quite seriously.

I have a few thoughts that I want to get out. I have been a Taylor Swift fan since I was pretty little. I love her music and I love her in general, she’s pretty great. With that being said I do want to point out a few things. Often Swifties think everything she does is amazing. The carbon emissions from her are not okay. Just because other celebrities do it more doesn’t mean that she gets to as well. Being a billionaire is not okay, not even for Taylor. The NFL is gets a lot of views and profit from Taylor being there so they show her often. That’s not her fault. They show her more than they have any other celebrity, and I can see how that could be annoying. What I don’t see is why it has to be Taylor’s fault. Why can’t they ask the nfl to stop showing her? Didn’t all the football fans stop watching since Kaepernick took a knee? If seeing Taylor is annoying that’s fine I can get that but we should be pointing that irritation at the nfl, not Tay. I see a lot of diehard Swifties that act like she can do no wrong, and that’s not true because she can do wrong things. She’s human, by nature of her humanity she’s going to do bad things and make poor decisions.

I’ve noticed a huge surge of hate towards Taylor from people 40+ of a certain race & political party. There are a couple shows on Fox News where people have claimed TS is an op for the Democratic party or is a Santos (sp?) pawn, and I have also seen people say she’s a witch…..🙄🙄🙄😑

I think that this had something to do with Taylor’s overexposure, if you really do think about it. over the past few years during the pandemic, she did made 2 albums 2 re-recordings. But the over exposure didn’t really came until the Eras tour. I’m a fan but just didn’t really like how Midnights won the album of the year ( bc there are many big contenders in 2023? Idk) I wasn’t surprised, nor disappointed when she won. Just don’t think Midnights should be the album of the year.

i love taylor swift but sometimes, yes, swifties can get very obsessive and it's a little weird. do i love her and her music? yes. do i care about her reactions to travis's interception? no. your allowed to not like pop music but it pisses me off when people hate on her just because she's a sucsessful business woman. but honestly i don't even want to be associated with swities anymore.
