La Liga is really good now and becoming better. It only looks worse superficially because nothing can compare to the Messi-Ronaldo era. El clasico is definitely at a low point and most EPL fans only judge La Liga from that single game. I've been watching both EPL and La Liga since the 90s and the biggest difference is marketing. On that department, nothing can beat the EPL, but there is nothing especial about watching Tottenham, Newcastle, Chelsea, Man United or even Aston Villa in 2024 no matter how much they try to hype it.
