Why is Minecraft so ominous? 

That was a very well produced video. In my opinion, there's more ominous stuff in minecraft that could be mentioned to make a more complete video. The fact that there are abandoned mineshafts but there's no one ever mining except the player, like, what happened to those miners and how long ago?? Also, the discs the player can find with ominous music

This is probably the reason why I like playing the game so much because it feels like I am all alone in my own little world without any distractions or annoyances

Once I started a world and there were no mobs at all. Except for one river where there were some fish. I started having nightmares about it so I quit.
