@98765qaz cs im not saying that Morissette voice is been manipulated by some gudgets or stuff etc.. just to be sound good, cos we all knew how good and beautiful voice she has.. what im trying to explain is, the stage'session need to do some technical support to the live streaming because of the separation of the places where the singer is actually far away from the actual streamer.. and for that to be delivered as perfectly as good without any technical sound issues that may acquire,. Thats all no Auto tune or whatever its just to supply the viewers with good quality.

It will not, and never. But it can used as a system that can manage to balance the tuning of the sound. Dont worry dude am a fan of morissette 1000% guarantee ok!! I even want to marry her lol! Her diction and enunciation are impeccable. She does add some runs and growls (which is looked down upon in theatre) however it would not be a Mori song without them.
Pesmerga Pavus agreed however in this particular song it was not written for runs, riffs and growls; however in the song She used to be Mine also covered by Morissette growls and runs are acceptable. Mostly due to the style and situation of the song like you stated previously.
Pesmerga Pavus true however that is how she makes it her own. Morissette typically does not just copy a song and sings it like the original. Most of the time her additions are awesome and sometimes (rare times) they don’t fit exactly. Regardless her rendition of Defying Gravity is the best I have heard compared to some of the Elphabas that have sung this song.
Mori is just so versatile given the fact that Broadway musical is not her comfort zone. Her usual performances are Ballads, power Belting, RnB, Pop. Mori can just simply penetrate other's territories. Given an assignment and opportunity, she can simply nail this genre. 🥰💙🇵🇭

ehhh i didnt know this song exist until Stell Ajero of SB19 sang it during their Manila concert last June 24 & 25... Then i happened to watch Ms. Lea Salonga's version and now Ms. Mori... They all slayed this song on their own version but so far I really love Stell's version knowing he is a male but singing the original female key.

It is amazing but it does sound very like a studio version. It also seems like she js miked up from every angle. If not then she is one of the best people I have heard perform this song.
I agree Rosannasfriend. There have only been a handful of his videos where his smile hits his eyes and his voice has so much raw emotion in it. I enjoy most of his videos but there are those few where he is clearly moved by what he is seeing/hearing as well.

Aside for her amazing talent, she's a very good story teller, you'll buy what she's selling, makes a huge difference from the rest of the 'pack'. A powerful performance sung sorrounded by a plain wall and some fairy lights, amazing indeed.
Interesting comment you had at 4:20. You stated something like you weren't as convinced in other performances that she means what she's performing. I can't recall any performance that I've watched where I felt she wasn't emoting it. She definitely makes me feel emotions of whatever song she is singing. She has a talent there. Could you give examples of the performances you were thinking of? I'm genuinely curious now! I also wonder is it possible a singer can make people feel emotions in a song without the singer meaning what they are singing in the physical performance?
