Try bending the connector away from the trigger housing. Proper gap is a note card thick peice of paper slid between the connector and housing and it should stop 1/4 way through. Lock the slide to the rear, remove the slide plate and striker. Then, remove the slide to get to that connector. Ghost Inc has a video on how to.adjust the connector.
same thing happened to me after I put a $50 trigger with trigger bar in my Glock 48. had to return that nice looking trigger. Same thing also happened to me when I first put OEM Glock minus connector in G48, but the gun works fine after I bend the minus connector away from the trigger housing.
just picked one up and put 200 target rounds and 50 jhp through it without lube. No issues at all. Shooting wise beats p365 x/xl, glock 19, dagger compact, ect.. The issues that people are reporting in these are probably due to how new it is. I will say that I only used the mag that came from PSA with it. I'm impressed with it and would recommend it to anyone. Just test it before you carry it.
My upper is great and I’ve been shooting it on my G43 for over a year. My micro dagger lower has a c$ap trigger. The trigger bar wasn’t formed right and it broke too far to the rear (almost at the frame). Also the connector wasn’t bent right and was causing problems. I spent a few hours and invested $120 in an upgrade kit and the trigger works better now but is still c$ap. So…do I invest in a quality full trigger assembly for $200 or scrap the gun and buy a P365XL?
Great video. I, too, am a PSA fan. I have a compact Dagger and love it. I've been on the fence about purchasing one of the micro daggers for a glovebox gun. This video was very interesting, and hopefully, you make a follow up video about the issues and fix for this problem.
I bought one and put the Apex trigger group in and the stock trigger housing from a 43x. Ran poorly, probably the slide spring. Even when it ran stock the gun was mediocre.
I bought one of these and when I pulled the gun out the box the little pin above the trigger fell to the floor… Haven’t shot it yet, but no feeling good about it 🤣
I got a c-1 micro dagger and it doesn't shoot straight onllu have about 300 rounds should I wait for it to break in or should I just go ahead and get a new barrel
Sucks... it's upsetting, especially considering how long they took to release these. You'd think it would've all been worked out. Had issues with mine also but my standard Dagger has ran reliably.
I tried to leave a review on the PSA website for the product... surprise surprise it would not publish. Seems PSA only allows 4-5 star reviews to post. -Failures to extract, light primer strikes, broken guide rod, Glock OEM parts did not save the gun The following is not what I want to write. I have been a fan of PSA for several years and have enjoyed their products. I typically have mostly ignored the negative talk about PSA at various gun stores/ranges. My personal experience with PSA up until now has been good and I have had other ‘reputable’ brands fail (I have a Geissele barrel currently out of spec being worked on). Similar pistols I own: older silver slide G48, G43x, G48 MOS, CR920, CR920 Elite. For EDC I usually carry the G43x slide on either the Glock MOS lower (with Sheild Arms Gen 2 mags & mag catch) or CR920 lower, Surefire XSC on both. I tested this gun over 5 range trips, around 800 rounds of Winchester White box. The lower itself appears to function and was tested with 48/43x/CR920 uppers without problems. The Dagger Micro C-1 upper produced the same problems on all lowers. The other guns ran great with the same ammo, et cetera. I had no issues with the 1x PSA mag. The compensation on the C-1 is noticeable and I did like how it felt. 1st range trip (straight out of the box) & 2nd Range trip (cleaned and lubed), 100+ rounds each trip, same results. Tested with 8x Glock OEM mags and the 1x PSA mag… a pistol should come with no less than 2x mags. I had multiple light primer strikes and failures to extract. 3rd Range trip (cleaned and copious lube). 100+ rounds. Started off with the same problems with stock configuration. I changed the upper parts out to Glock OEM and also tested it with an ISMI 15lb recoil spring/guide rod, Glock OEM guide rod, and Faxon barrel. The barrel and guide rods appeared to make no difference, however after putting in the Glock OEM upper parts I had less problems. The first couple mags with Glock OEM parts produced no failures to extract, but had a few light primer strikes. Then ran without issue for around 50 rounds. 4th Range Trip. Added a Tangodown/Vickers steel mag catch to try Sheild arms Gen 2/3 mags (I have 10x 15rd + 2x 20rd Gen 2 and 2x 15rd Gen 3) . 300+rds. This change resulted in occasional failures to feed- this is NOT counted against this firearm as this is an aftermarket change and is similiar to my experiance with Sheild mags in my older silver slide G48. The upper unfortunately produced the same issues it had been with both PSA parts and Glock parts. The issues with Glock parts again were noticeably less frequent, but still present. I did notice failure to go into battery with the ISMI 15lb spring the couple mags I used it. 5th Range trip… until this trip the gun was going to receive a 2-3 star review. The PSA mag catch was added back in and the gun cleaned and lubed, 8x OEM Glock mags and 1x PSA mag used. Started again with PSA upper parts in the gun, same issues. Switch to Glock parts (used PSA barrel and guide rod), almost made it through about 50 rounds without issue… last round of the last mag the PSA guide rode broke.
Every manufacture produces a lemon from time to time, some more than others like Taurus.I digress. What matters to me? If how the manufacture handles it. Like Sig Sauer and my P365 they were defensive. I told them were they could stick their firearm. Depending on the issues? Will usually never trust it as one of my EDC firearms, if the firearm needed a lot of work, like on my CZ P-10c. You do know? You shouldn't use steel magazines in a Glock or any other firearms that uses polymer magazines. Often the magazine catch are made of plastic and can become damaged.
Yeah. What was wrong with the SIG? My X5 threw brass into the Romeo 1 pro glass and chipped it. SIG replaced the optic and told me to run the lighter spring for free... Never had an issue with my Tauri, and it's a good thing cause their cs is non-existent. P10c no problems. PSA has great warranty and cs, just like SIG. PSA will fix this for sure.
You need to put some sugar in that lemonade to sweeten the deal up. ❤❤❤✌✌✌ Mine works just fine, you just got a lemon, it happens with all guns, cars, truck, and ammo. And you know when someone is shooting a $1000 to $2000 dollar pistol, they blame the ammo, but when it's a budget pistol, it's always the gun. But in your case, you got a bad trigger. ✌✌✌
I have had 3 Dagger compacts. One I gifted to a fellow retired army officer the other to my son in law. I have a FDE with night sights. Shoots on par with my Glock 19. Bought the micro version. Yet to fire it. PSA mags sucks. One week of loading and only 10 of 15 round capacity. Bought 2 metal slick mags. Mag follower @ 90 degrees. Other could not load more than 2 rounds. Recently contacted me and told me to contact another link. Bottom line I tried and I am. Getting the run around. Will try to call them but if I keep getting jerked around I will call them out on it and post it here and other social media. Palmetto State armory are you listening?
I've seen a few videos where people are having some issues with the PSA magazines. Some are saying that a 500 round brake-in is needed on the PSA daggers. I don't know, but I know this my Glock runs without a hiccup all day long. I bought a Backup Tactical barrel and they recommend 500 round brake-in when putting it in the Glock.
