It's not even in the media................There is a world wide Coupe d'etat going on ....... every human will get a QR tag.... total surveillance is comming
Newmont has always been selling it's copper. A precious metals mining company rarely extracts only one type of metal. I'm assuming that Newmont is after 'new' copper deposits. It is very much true that nearly all mid tier and major producers are profitable and undervalued. Most are all in sustaining at around $1,000 per gold ounce. We've been above that for over two decades.
Just got my dividend from Newmont today. Solid company but yeah, this year has been rough on gold/silver miners. Too many weak hands invested last year when PM prices shot up from the pandemic fears. This will settle out eventually.
Exactly. And there’s no way to provide the metals involved to meet the pipe dream of worldwide electrification. Super expensive, unreliable and the pollution from mining it will be off the charts!
@@rudeawakening3833 absolutely yes. Those windmills are filling landfills as we speak. Also the extermination of local bird populations and the toxic battery banks that store the unreliable power.
@@mikeware1002 I appreciate your insightful reply . Never heard of that before . All I know is that they are building more and more wind farms , solar photovoltaic fields , and plan on ending internal combustion engines in every country … They are putting 18 wheelers out on the interstates with electric motors - no diesel at all . So I’m sad to hear of the negative aspects ; but this is what’s coming regardless . Perhaps the “ lesser of the two evils “
Good traditional Q&As however I rarely see Kitco asking abt how miners like NEM can use the advantage of custodial gold and issuing digital gold tokens to make gold a much more liquid and widely accepted currency. Value is going nowhere bcuz it sits in banks instead of wallets
Nice interview… I can tell he really understands the complete ins & outs of his business, has clear financial fail-safes in place, long & short-term plans as well as taking social, technological & environmental issues into consideration. No wonder they’re listed on the S&P. Happy 100th Anniversary.
Yea.. he even wants a 50,/50 men woman mining team. And that makes sense.. since so many women are interested in mining.. infact .. id say the mining pits would be more productive with allwoman Next year.. we should aim for 50% transgenders !
So many “challenges” and so few accomplishments. Most people get fired for such incompetence, but apparently not Mr. Teflon CEO. Automate the CEO’s job. A robot couldn’t do worse.
Quality people at Newmont. I had the pleasure to be a vendor to the DTC facility 20 years ago. Wish I would of invested in them back then and only started investing in PMs a decade ago.
It's time for all the Hollywoodd stars from Kitco to admit they were wrong in recommending the gold. The last two years and more gold has been among the worst investments in the sector and also the gold mines. that's a fact. Enough with the hallucinatory numbers you give to gold. There are investors who listen to you and you mislead them. I apologize if it hurts anyone but that's my opinion and I have been disappointed with the gold for many years. I sold everything at a great loss.
