@@moody21 It's literally the best technology and team and tokenomics in the entire crypto space. eGLD will be worth $1k each easily one day in my opinion, and probably at least $5k each.

They had to rebrand because a company in USA registered the ELROND brand and they could not use it anymore. This is the only real reason for rebranding.

Why do people expect Alts money flow first from Bitcoin to Ethereum and after the other Alts? That was before having better layer 1's. The point is, EGLD is a GREAT tech compared to ETH so no matter the price people are still buying it. Slow and steady wins the race, ETH spends millions with ads and bots. EGLD is a healthy growth 👍

😂 you have no idea what you are talking about. The rebranding had anothe reason and you are comparing bull-market cycle with the bear market numbers. Take a look to all the other coins, especially layer 1-s, at their adoption and then you will realise that egld is stronger at this price than it was on it's all time high. Please, sell sooner, so I can buy it cheaper.

@@BitcoinStrategy ETH doesn’t really need to market itself, it’s not competing with anyone and everyone knows about it. I like MultiversX for a few reasons. -Regulatory approval (EU government just launched its own nft marketplace on MVX - you need a scalable blockchain to build a metaverse. -Best tech (sharding) -Xportal makes it simple and easy to use for the average person.

yes you had to transfer it to another app, now called xportal as mentioned by @tony below. It was not hard to transfer but it takes a bit of time. I am not sure if it is still possible to transfer so I recommend to do so asap.

As a Former Huge Investor and Elrond Enthusiast, I thought that the Rebrand to MultiversX was very Stoooopid, So i Left. I feel like Elrond lost it's identity and connection to the people with the Name change/rebrand. It certainly lost me. What a Dorky move on behalf of Elrond. SMH!

De ce noua aplicație este o mizerie fata de fostul wallet? În primul rand a trebuit să-mi iau un s23 ca să se miște cât de cât decent. Cu un telefon bun acum câțiva ani, mergea extrem de laggy. Cum sa fie adoptat, dacă aplicația prin care te bucuri de beneficii, este un gunoi. Ca design este la fel, inferior fata de ce era înainte. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Agreed. They rebranded to ride on the Metaverse hype-train. Unfortunately, Metaverse has become old news and it's all about AI (for now). Polygon does a much better job of associating with the latest trends in crypto (zkRollups L2, gaming, etc.).

Personally I started also in the bull, by buying 2mil mex with 1250$ but I believed and now I am only 30% down, and doing 3mil xmex per week via LPs . I believe MVX is keeping the Xchange news for 2024 . 2023 is the time to build Xworlds, Xfabric, Xlaunchpad, Xmoney - building first . adoption and marketing later when they really have what to offer to it's users . Now don't get me wrong, invest in what you feel safe . I feel safe with MVX . all my best

Thank you Gerhard, what is even more pathetic is that the rebranding happened when Facebook acknowledged that multiverse was a huge mistake. IMHO this is at best a failed project, at worse a ponzi.

Meta never acknowledged that the Metaverse was a mistake, and Multiverse != Metaverse. In fact, MultiversX is just a name here. and if a 1.1bn marketcap project is a failed project for you, then idk

Facebook stopped pumping money into the metaverse space because they realized how much work and investment it would take, and because they realized that multiversX is already doing it as best as any company ever could. Facebook's efforts would be towards a second-best project

@@YesPlease1 Meta reduced the money that is put into developing their metaverse, yes, but it didnt stop. They are cointinuously developing it. MultiversX is not a Metaverse project, however they do have a partnership with Improbable and they use this partnership to develop a new product: xWorlds. Not much is known yet, but BAYC is included there, and a few other big name projects.
