I have $170K in NVIDIA right now. I only got into stocks to try and make anything to help afford some medical infusion treatment that I need. consider splitting some into intel if you haven’t, they’re incredibly cheap rn and i see no reason they would drop lower especially with their new generation of chips coming next month and lots of cost cuts taking place according to the CEO, they’re also releasing their new Gaudi AI accelerator which is much better than Nvidias

keep buying with both hands all the way down to the high 90s if it goes there. sell covered calls way out of the money if you own the shares as the premiums are decent even far out of the money. or sell weekly puts from 115 to the 100 level if you don't mind owning the stock if you get assigned. NVIDIA is a winner and always be. Patience is the key.

Astute comment. I also suspect that NVDA is gravitating towards that "gap fill" level in the mid-$90's range. I'm bullish on the company, long term; but, my trading/options background has me employing the same strategy as you mention.

Short term investors pulling out ,together with panic hysteria regarding the semiconductors from Taiwan. Buy the dip and hold. August will bring high rise on the stock price.Nvidia prepares a financial presentation not only on their growing results , but the increase of the revenue due to their tech for all the companies buying their products! Let the fear not be leading your decisions... I work in P&C Insurance sector and all over the companies I can confirm, that there is a high demand and plan to implement AI in the BAU flows. We are talking of individual data centers to be fed with company related data to pull advantage on analytics, efficiency and automatization....having NVIDIA as main supplier (due to advantages currently has on the AI ) ....I presume the same goes with the banks and rest of the industries...

I recommend rewatching Parkev’s video of his NVDA stock price prediction from a while ago. Even without explicitly taking all the risks into account that are now gaining prominence (geopolitical risks, AI hype cooling down, concerns over AI data center energy demand, etc), NVDA’s stock price had reasonable but not crazy upside potential. You ultimately have to decide for yourself whether these are risks you are willing to live with. Short term volatility is not relevant if you are a long term investor other than sometimes buying on a dip.

Those comments were misinterpreted as him saying TSMC would have to pay. I do not know why that was what many FINANCIAL PUBLICATIONS PRINTED, but it was clearly incorrect and saying Taiwan may need to negotiate defense with the US is not a surprise but actually a STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE BETWEEN GOVERNMENTS smh 1:03

a high valuation on their company, even when accounting for future earnings. If you buy this company at this price for the next decade your average return will be 2.36% on average for every year. At that point go buy a 20 years treasury and you will outperform those numbers. And I should also add at the end of that decade the p/e is 30 if you think the p/e will be close to 70 then I guess you will make a killing in your investment for the next decade. This is accounting for an average of 36% a year on revenue. Who knows maybe they do a shit ton of buybacks and acquisitions that drive more returns for shareholders maybe that happens but always think about this stuff before you buy into a stock. I’m not saying you should or should not buy but always be aware of the risks. I personally think the future is bright for NVIDIA and I would like to own them but I think a little more patience can potentially make a big difference either way it goes.

I think this will just be a dip. Nvidia is building their own fabs, so they won't be as reliant on TSMC, which is also good because they can't keep up with the demand. Honestly, if I were a chip manufacturer, I'd be building fabs in countries like Costa Rica that are safe, democratic, and politically neutral, plus lower operational costs than the US or EU. I'm surprised there aren't a ton of companies building out manufacturing there.

Thanks Parkev. I decided to reduced my NVDA weight and increased my VOO holdings as a result of this. My sleep is more important. Also thinking of allocating some of it to commodities like gold. Times like this can be treated as a test to how well we've positioned our portfolio. I hope many of the retail investors have hedged their portfolio in some ways to minimise their risks while still getting some of those potential rewards.
