India was never "secular". The only reason why India remained "secular" on paper was because without it there would have been multiple Nation States instead of a India. Those during the time of partition were very much aware of the pre-mughal/british India which was governed by the 'Manuvadi' system. Nobody from punjab to kerala or assam to maharashtra or bengal had any idea of what a India governed by Hindus or a hindu rastra would be like. That's the reason Ambedkar being a Dalit was serious with the constitution. The army is too strong, it has economical interests aside from political. They are high on plots, factories and revenue they get from their companies while influencing the country's economic policies, completely on a feudal power trip. There is no way on earth they'd leave all this wealth just for the sake of democracy. Everyday a new set of acres of land gets transferred to them. It's too idealistic to say one day a General or Chief of the Fauji Foundation will wake up and decide to sacrifice all of its institution's stake to save Pakistani democracy.

While I agree there is lack of vision etc. That too is because the higher ups have made sure this remains to distract people from focusing on economic & social growth, rather talk about Kashmir and garbage, therefore plundering the country while sending their own families to the west. Having said this my personal opinion ( hope i may be wrong ) is pakistani politics is not mature as in popular democracy in west including india. Parliament is the supreme office for debate, discussion and legislation and it proceedings are telecast live here. I want pakistani parliament debating parliament that legislate law in intrest of citizen where public welfare should be supreme priority instead of few powerful. Faith should be strictly personal affair. What is fear of india or say hindu where 93% of population is muslim. What is happening in outside of pakistan should be non issues for pakistani politicians including public. GOI is here for welfare of all its citizens including muslims ( as i have observed pakistani have been sold stories on hearsay account far from reality ). And i sincerely hope pakistan should come out of imaginary ideas of ummah and all this stuff and study and become good citizen of pakistan and contribute something for her betterment. Do not bleed it anymore in name of religion, bleed india with 1000 cuts. Rest it should understand indian army is for safety and security of kashmiri and president rule is to take secretariat control under the hands of centre govt for speedy recovery of kashmir and bringing kashmir back to normalcy before restoring statehood and later conduct election as per election commission guidelines. If state govt fail in its duty centre govt sack the state govt for completing pending jobs. And laddakh has been carved out from kashmir as it sit on remote karakoram range and bordering china with very thin population which is beyond the capacity of any state govt to manage Rest i wish both india & pakistan should live together as normal neighbour and do not interfere on internal matters anymore! @@ranjaypandey4360 See there are problems in india too weather you admit it or not. But india is a very politically stable country in south asia. The first problem with India is their obsession with Pakistan. Their media always discusses Pakistan full of hate speech while our media rarely talk about India. I wonder why we get so much attention there. Are they fans of Pakistan? This is a true fact or they are using hate speech to make things worse. Yes Pakistan has several problems but kets not forget that India is also playing it's part in not maintaining regional peace. The Second second problem is propaganda which unfortunately exists on both sides. Pakistan always shows videos of Indian officers and mob beating Muslims and destroying their property while India always shows some minority in Pakistan getting killed. Both of these are true but also not true. These incidents happen on both sides of the border but on selected places maybe once or twice a year. But media of both he countries love to fuel negativity so that the citizens of that particular country can feel proud of themselves instead of showing positive stuff because negativity sells. You see the mindset of both the countries is poor. The same thing happens in elections. Pakistan uses Islam while India uses Hindurasta. Pakistan will show you that India is poor and dirty who doesn't have toilets while India will show you that everyone here is a terrorist. Both of these things are true to some extent such as there are terrorist attacks in Pakistan in the past and now maybe once a year while in India poverty does exists which is why a lot of Indians have gave up their citizenship and moved overseas due to frustration because India's population is very high. Our poverty has always been slightly less but in recent years and espacially now it has increased rapidly due to very weak economy and political instability. But you can't say that the entire population is like that. So both the countries use propaganda. Then there are people on both sides of the border who want peace and friendship. At the same time there are such people on both sides of the border who always wants us to fight. The problem lies with both sides. The only difference is that India is politically stable due to strong constitution and no army interference. Also ( if I am not wrong but I most probably am wrong) our army is also very corrupt that is still using feudalism model used decades ago in Europe. I don't know who did 26/11. It could be from the army or from the other side of the group which I mentioned earlier that dont want peace with India under any circumstances because they are living in a fantasy world just like a group of people in India who who want Akhand Bharat and rebuild Indian Empire. I see many common problems here with the exception of strong democracy and strong economy present in India while we dont have that. I could be wrong but I think Modi is not good for India in the long term because he is doing the exact same thing which Gen Zia did through Islamaisation and severely weakened the tolerance values of Paksitan from which Pakistan never recovered. I believe political secularism is the best model while Sharia should be limited to Muslims personal life not politics. Is India 100% secular. Well in my opinion it is not mostly secular but not completely because there has never been a muslim PM there. But there model works even if it came from the west. Besides I wish the best for both countries but for us the situation seems unfortunate because we cant get rid of corrupt army generals meddling in country's affairs in order to make big bucks and then move overseas.

Yes pakistan has 30 yrs left to rediscover history for course correction. Specially 2nd war of tarain 1192 ( ghurid vs chauhan) And war of palacy How can you remove history of (EAST INDIA COMPANY & MUTINY) And how can you insert islamic history before 2nd war of tarain. INCLUDING how & when south india fell to allauddin khalji. How It was uprooted by vijaynagar & bahmani. How bahmani split into 5 different kingdoms and gave the birth of marathas. Otherwise pakistani will remain in perennial confusion. And modern history is incomplete without bengal ( nowadays bengal, bihar, orissa, assam ) largest suba of delhi. Where as old, tired country was injected fresh blood by modernity by successive reformer before independence and post independence and still it has not deviated from the path of modernity and reforming itself to make sure it never fails in future. Where as i see too much misplaced priorities in my immediate neighbour house. Instead of correcting wrong of history it has fallen in orthodoxies and self damaging itself.
