I’m studying sociology

Have sociologists improved the world ? No … sociology is behind many of the most contentious and controversial and (importantly) divisive topics of today such as … BLM, Socialism, Trans Identity, LGBT, Climate activism, militant Feminism, destruction of the nuclear family, waining of religion (but at the same time elevation of Islamification) … I could go on about the knock on effects, like the amount of part time female doctors (making it harder to see a doctor), single parent families, entitled communities wanting recompense for sins against their ancestors, babies ‘abandoned’ to nurseries as mothers focus on careers, teenage suicide, falling birth rate across the entire western world, erosion and vilification of traditions etc. Well done sociologists … 👏 You’ve changed the world, but no one ever asked if challenging every single social norm (almost without exception) and then actively trying to dismantle these norms was a wise idea.
