Would removing Kameo Hit Stun Solve most of this issues? So cameos can do damage and extend hitstun if you are already comboing, but cannot make unsafe moves safe.
I feel like jax”s ground pound is made for that too. even though it knocks both players down. seems like itll atleast reset certain pressure situations. but i think both take damage though? not too sure.
That seems to be the goal, they're just highlighting the ones that deal with combos to highlight this game giving players freedom but they have said they want Kameos to cover as many archetypes as possible. There will be plenty of zoning and defensive Kameos
then you're giving up the broken bullshit that comes with offensive assists. You won't be able to keep up offensively. Its the reason why block breakers weren't used in MKX. Giving up all the offensive resources to get people off of you left you with nothing on offense.
You’ve definitely got the best version of Sub Zero. I must admit I’m not too keen on the Kitane stuff but this? I watched it all the way through. Evil Sub Zero is the best sub zero
I finally understand the Kano kameo vision. I used to to think he was a tad slow but nah hes perfect speed. Any character that can put something out on screen gonna be in heaven with the kano kameo
This is the only over the top version of Sub we've had since MK9 release with enhanced ground freeze. Everything else has been tame in comparison to the rest of the cast.

Kano ball acts like a batarang. This is going to be insane for pressure with some characters. Imagine a mix god like Black Canary or flash with with a Kano ball assist to stay safe.
Like frfr. That was like a yr2 type of combo. Not something I'd expect in a stress test. That was the most skilled combo I've seen out of anyone so far Whoever that was playing is a monster.
He has no true plus frames from what I gather. Just like how he had 'pseudo'-plus frames in MKX, he will rely heavily on the assist character for plus frames. Foxy demonstrated that pretty well over here. He has a great mid though
I'm just a casual player after high-school because life obligations and its so disheartening that i find no joy playing online because everyone is so damn good. Yall know all sorts of things that i have no idea what yall are talking about. I haven't checked yet but i hope online you can get paired up with people around your skill level.
People complain about my boy sub ,but kenshi and kang way stronger. Going to get him nerfed into C tier again like MK9. His ice klone in Mk9 though was stronger than in MKX or here in Mk1. It got mega nerfed in MK1 it disappears so quickly.
@@SID-ZERO you must have not seen ninjakilla or RU-vidr Super play him. The characters potential is insane! he is good at all ranges because his zone game and close quarters are both really good..and not to mention like Kenshi he can get 50% combo except unlike Kenshi it is easier and without using fatal blow or anything.

And ask sonicfox or anyone they will all agree subzero is stronger than kenshi and liu kang nowhere close to him. So sub can no longer into ice ball normally, but scorpion can combo into spear meterlessly and do like 40% midscreen for one bar. Kenshi gets even more meterlessly midscreen and Liu Kang also gets insane damage with a 6 frame punish. Multiple characters can just simply D4 him when he goes into ice clone every time, interrupting him. Sub will spend 2 bars and a cameo and not even break 40%, but please... Tell me how he's broken... I think people just straight up hate on this character too much for bad experiences in past games. Using a cameo to keep stuff safe is not a "subzero" thing, that's literally anyone bro. Liu Kang has an unblockable setup in the corner with Jax that straight up breaks the game.

They couldnt balance variations so they went for a fucking assists. Maybe this is very old built but if that not he case with so many assists there might be not enough fans for the shit to hit. There is a reason why Injustice was a overall good game - because it was Legacy. With these Kameos the game may require longer support than any previous tittle. But for the sake of us, I hope I am wrong and this is an old built and things will be different.
Hey foxy do you know the frame data on the sub zero overhead? The in game data says like 24 frames but I think that might be on the second hit, cuz if the first hit was 24 frames idk if it would ever land

This is just fun gameplay. At least it's not MK11 with most neutered and everyone watered down. MK11 was beyond boring and dull because of so many complaining about interesting tools. Would you rather have mixups be boring hit/throw mix or would you rather MK1 be like MK9/MKX with multiple veriety of mixups. MK1 has mild HTBs but doesn't have what MKX had with crazy pressure and hard to blockages that's low, overhead, low, low/low, overhead, overhead, low/overhead, low, overhead low that Tekada and Quan had. Besides MK1 has 2 frame HTB protection. If someone makes a low and overhead hit within 2 frames of each other the opponent auto blocks the second hit as long as they block the first hit.

Ex bicycle kick punishes clone cancel on block, think it loses to ex clone cancel. So if he does f12 and doesn’t clone, then you can punish with whatever Lius 6f high was. I don’t think the mindgame is in Lius favour tbh. I’d just clone every time and force you to either spend the bar or hold the next layer of offense.
They need to slow down recovery for kameos by a shit ton that way you can still have this pressure as an option but not constantly trapping them that’s just bullshit because what are you supposed to do? It’ll be mkx all over again if they dont
They always give him that oppressive 50/50 slide / overhead mixup which instantly makes him hard to deal with... In this one it seems like they have gone further and just given him everything... dunno why they bothered putting in any other characters really...
Every subzero is broken because ed boon is scorpion and John Tobias has always been subzero from the start. There is a universal gate in midway for Sub zero and it needs to stop. Sub zero has no get cancel and it's fucking annoying!
