Why Is Terminating a Design or Construction Contract Like Defusing a Bomb? 

I have a contractor that said the job was going to be done in mid July. I paid him 90 percent of the payment. We are in September, should I terminate and hire an attorney?

What if the contractor put the incorrect materials on a project, brought the building out of venting codes, stole materials and admits they have done nothing wrong. Think that the owner is lying to them,, even while given evidence of the errors. Forced arbitration listed on the contract.
