A little anxiety or nervousness is nothing after sitting through the fears that come up in DNoS. I learned unconditional love for myself during this process. And how to appreciate parts of myself that others told me were unworthy as a child
Hey Henri, Erik again, you are so right...it resonates... often the dark night happens to people who have been through a lot, traumas pain etc, also from previous lives.. that pain is the catalyst for falling into the dark night, ... also a sudden strike of events can be the source , or that you have done a lot if shadow work already, like in my case. I never expected to be awakened and fall into the dark night...now I know... nu there isn't a program you can run to fall into it, it just happens. Luckily in hindsight it is the best thing that could ever happen, because you are shedding the ego structures that have kept us enbonded in a illusionary sense of way, the ego death....the freedom. But it is like a lion, and will not give up easily... that is the shamanic test... to every time be with it, not to get attached, this way the ego cannot stand to be seen for what it is...the false ego cannot stand consciousness, being witnessed. The pain that is coming up is not only resistance but also old consciousness, old traumas, beliefs, thoughtpatterns that we have been put away subconsciously for years and maybe lifetimes.... that channel will open... but there is a divine force in action, how difficult it may be, that will guide you and let you feel just what you can cope .. and otherwise you can ask life , God, the universe , to slow it down a little.....This is my experience.. and still... being with it with no resistance, embracing it does not mean that you are happy going through it, it is tough, my heartchakra feels so much deep grief, like an elephant is sitting on my chest, also the anxiety etc It is hard, as Henri says, esp when it lasts longer, on the other hand this has to happen in your own time frame, otherwise it would not have happened...trust, suffer, let go, have faith... try not to get attached is also my advice... and yes it is shit sometimes..I know .. but the only way out is through.... hang in there everybody, needed to share this ! ..love Erik 💕🙏🦋🛐💫

I’ve been in the dark night since 2016 but I’ve been trying to pull myself out. I’ve found new distractions and coping skills have helped but my curiosity and pain still seeps through every now and then. That fear of homelessness is a great fear of mine too, I haven’t heard many others speak on it and I feel pathetic when I talk to others about my fears. I don’t know why I am in the dark night of the soul, I do not remember asking...but maybe there is a deeper purpose or meaning. I believe in fate or destiny...maybe I deserve to be alone.
Thank you for these videos. It’s comforting to hear rationally and logically the experiences I feel I’m going through presented in a calm and honest manner. Means a lot.
