This is a paradox, when the work is cheerful, the fandom will create depressing stories, but when the work is depressing, many of the pieces are very cute and cheerful
my perception of the loud house fandom is that it feels like people are venting out their personal traumas and expressing their sad experiences through these characters. i think its strange that the loudhouse has such a weird fandom and how they portray these characters with having sad moments when they never experienced anything as such on the show. I get it if like- the show had moments where the family delt with real life issues and had a lore of somesort. That way some of these fanarts could make sense and we can interpret it as fans letting their imagination going wild. But it doesn't have any of those things. it just comes off like the fandom is full of people who never grew up in a healthy home and seeing the loud house thrive makes them want to draw these characters into really bad situations in order to relate to them more. It's both really unsettling and sad.

The irony of depressing and sad fanart of a kids' show with slapstick and based off of classic comics such as Peanuts and Big Nate, while dark, mean-spirited cartoons like Invader Zim, Spy vs. Spy get cute, wholesome fanart plus the shipping.
I’m late to sending this but As someone who used to make drawings of a similar nature of a comfort character(expect a bit darker) I can say that the reasons why people make drawings of the Loud House like this is to: explore a depressing topic in a way that makes it understandable and digestible Or to vent out something that may be going on in their lives and project it in a comfort character way

Can you cover the 101 Dalmatian Street fandom? It’s basically the dog equivalent of The Loud House fandom. FYI, 101DS only lasted one season due to low ratings and viewership. It’s a good show but the fandom is a whole different species that words alone cannot describe or explain it.
The loud house fandom is full of drake and sad and depressing art, well the Breaking bad fandom and the South Park fandom are literally full magical pretty princess and unicorn, what a bizarre universe we are living in!
As an artist, I'd honestly be tempted to take a commission like that, but I'd never be able to forget about it. It would haunt my dreams forever and every day of my life I would question myself: was it worth it? Did a couple of dollars justify one more abomination unleashed upon the face of the earth?

I am starting think its because of one thing people are doing this surely because they want to and 2 it's because beginning of the season 1 of loud house their some episode were well lets say not so good and fandom wanted make fanfics on story of lets say brawl in the family or no such luck you'll see a lot of that trust me or other things in general really that don't' relate to the loud house at all I swear some of these fanfics taking things to personal or to far but you knows that's the internet.

Their other siblings are puppies from their parents’ previous marriages and some are adopted) and fetish art (the fandom has a disgusting obsession with dog butts, flatulence, diapers, weight gain, vore, inflation, breast expansion, and height growth). The 101DS fandom has a major hate boner towards Dolly Dalmatian for some reason plus you can find a majority of Dolly haters on Deviant Art. 💀💀💀
