The Hathras case is not comparable with other rape cases. The entire actions of the police and the DM are brazenly unconstitutional and inhumane. The burning of the body unceremoniously is reason enough to arouse heightened interest in this case.
I understand that you do not want to jump to conclusions, but can you not even mention that it is surprising to see channels like Times Now covering this event so extensively.. does it not even raise a doubt that this is to solely cut the attention from the farmer protests, which will be a lot more damaging in Bihar polls than some girl getting raped (with the report being termed inconclusive).. the rapists should definitely be hanged to death.. but don't abandon the farmers completely.. can 2 critically important issues not be covered simultaneously?
