@@Hem101 thats die cut, some people do them. It doesnt do great on bn20 but people have done it. I tested it and works but its slow and wears put your cutting strip quick. You are better off with a selerate cutter for that.
I have a BN20 and looking to expand. Had a nice chat with an HP rep the other day and he mentioned the 115 and down the RU-vid rabbit hole I went! Really was debating a bigger Roland but how quick the latex dries really peaked my interest. Happy with the HP? Any major differences from getting a print setup from the HP to Roland? Thanks!
Lol i been down that hole. I live them both but the latex will pump out more work faster. However the bn20 print quality is superior but slower. I wouldnt replace my latex with it
@@DaPrintHouse Quality that noticeable or one of those because you are comparing you notice? Ive only been printing for about 8 months now. I had no idea the amount of options out there once I stepped out of my BN20 bubble. lol
@@freew67 yes very noticeable. Bn20 prints with Brighter color gamut being ecosol compared to the 115. But 115 will print lightening fast in comparison
Hi, I’m really enjoying watching your videos. I have a quick question if you don’t mind, I have a small shop on Etsy and I’d like to increase my production of stickers via a colour label and cutter printer. I don’t wish to go anywhere near your scale of shop, mine is as a supplement income as I’m disabled. May I ask what label machine you would recommend to make craft stickers? Many thanks G
HI thanks for watching, i def would go with the epson c6500 as it has a 8-1/2" wide print area and prints off rolls. print quality is superb, and commercial grade. the lx610 as seen on my channel is ok but for smaller runs but it does print and cut also as seen here the bn20a version has a good price rate @e $5k and prints larger on actual sign vinyl. hope that helps!
I started watching your videos a couple days ago. Great content! I currently do vinyl with a Graphtec CE7000-60 cutter. What other options would/could you recommend for printing since I don't need the print cut combo. I'm struggling to find good information on 24" printers and you seem to know what you are talking about.
@@DaPrintHouse thank you. I was thinking about a mutohs but I seen a bunch of people bashing them in comments about their reliability so I started to shy away.
@@theejmaenpaa ye heard as well. U might be better off finding a used roland 30" thats what i would do. Unless u wanna go bigger i love my latex for everything else i do.
Doesn't the print driver have an option to only print "selected" or print to page size, so that you can avoid the print head traveling the full carriage width when it's not necessary? What about maybe using a different printer driver?
sorry missed this, so far i have been printing from versaworks and haven't seen an option to do that but i wonder if printing from another program directly maybe change that, worth a shot to try it.
Thanks for posting, very helpful, I see your cuts go all the way around in one go, if I create mine in Silhouette or Lightburn it cuts in different areas of the contour cut leaving the HTV with tags so won't weed out cleanly... any ideas Thanks.
lol same with me, i wanted something to replace my lx610 and the deal landed in my lap from one of my users. so ye great little machine. and versaworks 6 so easy and ill tell u i have better color control then my flexi on hp latex
Do the decals curl when not waiting for ink to outgas before cutting? This seems to be an issue with larger eco-sol rolands. Is it the same for these BN-20s?
They havnt with this media so far. This is oracal media. Haven't tried roland media. but i have seen or heard about the curling with full bleed decals on ecosol and thin media. if you lam them you def will be ok. or use a thicker media 4mil or thicker
@@DaPrintHouse i just got my bn20a! why does it cut so slow.. not like yours. It cuts one section, then it slowly pauses, then does the other half of the sticker. Its only 10 3.5x3.5 stickers. Is it my settings?
@@Tuber_Dog sorry my music selected to my taste. im not new on youtube as i have other bigger channel since like 2005 i just like to use music i like ;) but i appreciate your insight buddy ( btw all the music i use is copyright free from bensound ) :) also this was one of the 1st videos i started using music with and i had to learn what the output levels were so other videos got softer music.
