"Mathematics" is far more fundamental and expansive than it appears -- that perhaps everything we experience (nature, music, design, art. etc) all are manifestations of mathematics. A mathematical universe makes a lot of sense!
@@PS-ej2xn Holy Quran is not a book of science, it is a book of hidayat, though it mentions some ayat revealing scientific facts. Science is for human benefit and learning about this universe, Islam does not prohibit any scientific quest.

I don't understand one thing. On one hand, dr. pervez said that universe is not conscious, and then he says that even if entire observers (humans) wiped out, universe and quantum entities remain. So if there is some kind of interaction between smallest entities of univ, universe IS DEFINITELY conscious.
Universe is Arithmetical and everything is in quantities. + & - are the only real operations happening in universe. Even / & x are done by adding and subtracting. How ? A simple Casio calculator does not understand algebra, trigonometry, or calculus. It only understands binary arithmetic in 1 and 0. And can only Add and Subtract in boolean. Yet it can divide and multiply and do many other operations on numbers. We can do anything on a computer using Matlab or Wolfram Mathematica, while all the time only binary addition subtraction is going on in the background (inside cpu). Interesting isn't it ? :) It's that simple

Math is actually the easiest way to describe the universe as the universe itself seems fundamentally and incomprehensibly probabilistic and random. Math actually boils down the complexities and gives us an easier explanation.

Sir, with due respect, you're a great teacher of physics b/c you're a dying heart student of this subject. You have spent plenty of years with highly curious mind in this field. On the other hand, you do not have rights to argue about GOD and quran. I have listen you in israr kasana show. Physics is your subject and you're great in it but quran is not your subject and you are not good in it. You said, science initiate some discovery and then we say it is already mentioned in quran. I am not agree with it.
