Netenayu has a country to defend from a barrage of Arab nations who swear death to Israel, yet allows business exchange with these nation within his country. There will always be people suade to create havoc as Israeli citizens.
@@jaimeesquivel1565 "to defend from a barrage of Arab nations who swear death to Israel" That's funny can you tell me what Arab nation swears death or care about Israel?
Duke Van Funny cause last I recall Israel has further record of finds that that particular land belongs to them, hence why Britain gave it to them as they conquered it and had it as a colony, hence why Hebrew artifacts are found riddled throughout the land and why Palestinian derived from a word meaning Sea People. You can read it for yourself in Britannica.
Duke Van Ha! Lol. I’m Mexican American and I don’t take offense to such nonsense. First off México ceded the land. And those who were on the land as of the treaty became America citizens and still kept heritage, but gain American pride. Not swear to God they will take vengeance against America; on the contrary, they are neighbors with good relations.
But does it matter or has to do anything with the war crimes done in Afghanistan and Palestine... It is leading to killing of civilians-thats the most gloomy part
Chito Juinio Then why are they acting guilty? Its like a bully saying “no I did not bully child x and if anyone says that I did or investigates it I will bully them too”
@@jaimemoreno8866 if there are no basis....i think thats logical. It's like when you accuse someone of doing a crime and he knows he did not do...he should counter it right? Since the US won't get anything if they win on this trial...why should they bother.
The ICC is not above the law the only one above the law is God. I'm glad that the ICC got sanctioned it sounds like they're trying to be on one side of the story instead of looking at all the sides because Israel was the one being attacked by the terrorists and they came in Israel murdering women children taking hostages and you expect Israel not to defend themselves the ICC must be full of s***
I ve never really watched footages of the horrific events in afghanistan and palestine😔...i feel so helpless ryt now...also i wish Allah to give them all the strength in the world....the icc must go on...and fight...cause atleast they are bringing these powerfull wrongdoers to account.
If there is rightousness in the world, a proper and and honest investigation is held, and my country is found guilty, then we should be held accountable. We are big enough to push the world around, we should be big enough to suffer the consequences of war crimes. A huge black eye to my country, the United States of America. We were supposed to be helping, not killing. I am sorry for my countrys involvement in the middle east. And to those who were negatively affected by our presence there. We had no right. Bush and Trump did the damage. God bless Barack Obama. His leadership is missed.
I am from Maidan Wardak Afghanistan i was there in that time our life was like in the hel USA killed they civil people. All ting happened in my village. They was not Taliban i now all of them. some of them was students, drivers an shopkeepers and one of them was my friend. That was the horrible time in my life. When they killed my villagers after 6 monts we funded they are bones.😧😨😰
05:30 "if youre not afraid of something, why would you want to get rid of it?" "First they came for the _____, but i did not say anything, for they were not me"
Definitely messed up, but I'm willing to wager that the moment the US leaves, the Taliban are going to get right back in power a.s.a.p. Hate em or not, the situation has undoubtedly improved since 2001, and the moment the US leaves, all of that improvement will be in vain.
All nations are driven by their own interest, and they will fight fiercely for it at whatever price. The U.S. is not afraid, they are merely reminding this organization of its place in the world stage. Always remember, it is not the weak that sets the rules of the game.
Some points that you forgot to mention that are importent if you dont want to be called biased: 1) palestine is NOT a state, its the first time in history that the ICC accepts a non state. why? are the palestinians special (more then kurds or any other people)? thats double standard. 2) the ICC can be used as a weapon between 2 nations at war, not a weapon of justice but a weapon just to win a war. a rogue nation can start a war with another (victim) nation, ask the ICC to investigate the soldiers of the other (victim) nation for so called "war crimes". the result is that for every operation the (victim) nation must waste alot of time in investigations, and as you see you cant go to a (defensive) war like this. about USA i am sure they committed war crimes in afganistan and iraq.
The lady makes it sound like the U.S. just wanted to crash a birthday party and murder people but completely left out the part where the village got raided because members of the Taliban were hiding out there. You know, the same Taliban that supported a terrorist that arranged for airplanes to blow up random, innocent people. This very much attempts to portray U.S. in a bad light while leaving out facts they find inconvenient. I'm not an advocate of torture but the prisoners that got captured were horrible people. So let's stop pretending there's no reason for these raids and interrogations. This clip provides zero evidence that anyone but enemy combatants were killed. Just features some lady that says the U.S. showed up during a birthday party but fails to mention the fact the they were there to take out enemy combatants.
You know what would be a huge slap in the face to the US. If a high profile member of the afghan government and the Taliban both went to the court to stand trial and abide by their rulings. When the US does not do the same it will take them down a peg in the eyes of the world.
Reinhold Hanning served as an SS guard at the Auschwitz concentration camp from early 1942 until June 1944. He was convicted for his crimes in June 2016. Therefore, it was approximately 72 years after his crimes that he was sentenced, and the most recent restitution of possessions stolen from Jewish people during the Holocaust that I found was in Lithuania and Latvia. A 2022 law granted 5 to 10 million euros (roughly $5.4 to $10.8 million) to be distributed among Holocaust victims by the Good Will Foundation. The exact amount of each one-time payment will be determined based on the total number of approved applicants, who will receive their compensation by July 1, 2025. So, by following the same international laws the entire territory of Israel could face claims for restitution by the Palestinian community.
the taliban didn't "refuse to hand over bin laden".. what are you even taking about? they offered to hand him over if solid evidence was presented that he was involved.
Great reporting! Suggestion: How universal health systems handle the current coronavirus pandemic compared to the broken private health system of the United States? Please do an extensive, fair and scientific analysis for these 2 systems in full episode that can be used as reference.
The problem is Afghanistan never had proper law and order. Actually things were far worse before US invaded Afghanistan. Women had no freedoms, no education and brutal Taliban rule. It is a very hard situation to be in a hostile environment like that where you are constantly being bombed and shot. I wish Afghanistan well.
Common sense. Criminals never like Police. Never like Judges. Never like Court. Moreover which country commited the most crimes against other country??????
This is exactly why the us shouldn't get involved in affairs in The middle east and central asia, they are supposed to be there as Peacekeepers not by adding to the killings. I ask you who is the biggest threat.
I serviced in Afghanistan in 2008 (Not US). It was the wild west.....and I've seen countries send soldiers to jail for war crimes but....not the US. the US used the "Fog of War" to lose paper work reference actions by there guys. If the ICC interviews all members that serviced and found out what we done and know...put it this way. there is not enough jail space for all of us in the world. when you leave...sign this bit of paper, here is your pension and don't talk about it.
Who need and what can do the International Court for powerful countries? In UE criminals are protected. They go in prison like in hotel. The criminality it is at 24%. In Russia is 6%. The International Court member are countries where is not any human rights implemented by their government which abuse their people.
The US may be guilty of some of the charges, but what this story did not mention was the allegiance of the top two people in the court and the prosecutor. Everyone in the world knows the US and China are almost on a war footing. The President of the court is from Nigeria which is heavily involved in China's BRI and in debt to the Chinese government. The Vice President of the court is Xue Hanqin, a Chinese Communist Party member. The prosecutor for this action against the US is Fatou Bensouda from Gambia, another country heavily invested in the Chinese BRI program. So maybe there is a political motivation for all this prompted by China with their influence on the court. Why not, China has effectively taken over the W.H.O. and pretty much taken over the U.N. China has bought and bribed their way to influence all around the world with their Belt & Road Initiative and controls a massive block of votes in the U.N.
I will say I am proud to have served in the U.S. Navy 1989-2003. I've been to many Muslim countries. They were all good people and I saw nobody treating them poorly. I left the Navy in 2003. We had no right to invade a country just to get our foot into the middle east. Like a big bully in high school, beating up a grade school kid and taking his lunch money. That's how the Iraqi war looked to me. 5 more years I could have retired. History will not tie me to Bush, or Trump. My leagacy rides proud with Barack Hussein Obama. One of our best leaders in modern times. Trump is an idiot. Please don't judge us people poorly because our leader is crazy. We have all had a crazy leader from time to time. But this war crimes thing is new. If we are guilty, I played no part in it. And I will never claim this man Trump. Peace be with all of you.
Understand law.. An unalected body has no jursdiction over Sovereign govts... It cannot hold universal jurisdiction over sovrreigns... Who r the sovereigns.. We r .. So case closed.. If u want to hold ur govt accountable ..then as sovereigns learn how to intiate universal jurisdiction over ur govt and others Google and wiki: Universal jurisdction .. Is that clear Qatar..
In end its clear there has to be a powerful and morally strong entity to deal with these states like USA & ISRAEL otherwise the icj is just a formality.
Can the ICC also investigate unfair international trade where the weak are financially abused such as the way China and western countries financially feast on 'poor countries'?
i wish in the future humans can only be charged for theft rape or murder nothing else. not incest or adultery. the state should not have too much power over the individual. also no more labeling of psychopath or sociopath unless murder is involved. no more labeling of autism.
